Samson, preferably Sam or Sammie, was born to Nicole and Samuel Weston as the third child in a line of five children. Samuel Weston was a muggleborn wizard, his father, fell in love with a close family friend, Nicole. Nicole had always known Samuel ever since they were children and even while Samuel had left for school each school year to what he told Nicole was just a boarding school, they still stayed incredibly close. Nicole and Samuel were so deeply in love and when he told her that he was a wizard she was perfectly fine with that. They'd been dating since the year he graduated high school. Married almost ten years later after having Samuel Jr., Shae and Samson. They just took their time getting married but they lived together from the beginning. Samson was not even a couple months old when the wedding happened. A year after getting married they had Skylar and Sophia, yes their parents were really those parents who named all their kids with the first same letter. Samuel Jr. and Samson were the only two boys of the bunch. Samuel Jr. was five years older than Samson and Shae was three years older than him. Skylar and Sophia were twin girls born only about a year and a half after Samson. The family always was a full house. All five of the kids had the same magical gifts that their father had and all got their chance at Hogwarts.
Toddler years were interesting. The middle child always had his older siblings to play with or annoy depending on who's side you were and his younger twin sisters were always wanting to play. Skylar really liked to do the boy things. During childhood all the children went off to muggle school and learned the same way that their father and mother did. When it was Samson's turn he quickly made quite a few friends. It was the same year that Samson started school that Samuel Jr. went off to Hogwarts. Their father had talked about it but still the place seemed so foreign. Only two years later it was Shae's turn to go off to Hogwarts and quickly it became Samson's turn to go to the school. Riding the train that he saw each year his siblings climb on, well now it was his turn. He got to enjoy riding the train. He got his own wand. Everything it was just the most amazing thing that he could think of. Two years later the twins joined them at school and Samuel Jr. was in his final year. This was the only year that the Weston children would all be in one school together.
First year was the year that Samson was sorted into Gryffindor. Samuel Jr. had been put into Gryffindor, Shae was a Ravenclaw. Samson had always done well in school so he assumed he would be put into Ravenclaw. The hat seemed to see something else in him. Sorting him into Gryffindor, the hat seemed like it was presenting him a challenge. It was going to be an interesting time at Hogwarts. When the twins came Skylar was put into Gryffindor and Sophia was put into Hufflepuff. They seemed quite pleased to be in different houses.
Samson learned everything he could but quickly began being a lot more interested in exploring the castle. He still managed to be one of the top students in his year. He found himself procrastinating though. Taking his time to get to do his work for his classes. On the bright side no one asked him to borrow his homework to copy it. Sam loved being good at his school work but being able to go off and do the fun things as well. He didn't stress a lot of the time when it came to exams or anything. If he didn't do well, then he didn't do well. He didn't care enough to stress over classes. Normally he did well. He called it retaining knowledge. His sister said that he had photographic memory, that was mostly true. Samson had a good knack at pulling the most random of things straight from memory. He couldn't help it if he remembered things well. It was why he could get amazing grades on tests. If he's read it then he'll remember it. He doesn't go around telling everyone about it. It's not exactly something he's proud of. But chances are he's not going to forget much.
His O.W.L.s went great this last year. He got at least an acceptable on each O.W.L. And he's decided that with the new year he's going to strictly focus on working to become a healer like Samuel Jr. Now it's time to finish out the summer and begin with the school year. Just a little closer to being an adult who is capable of being able to do things that are necessary to live out his life.
