LIKES: Stemming from his natural ability to develop bonds with his non-human friends, Felix has always had a special place in his heart for animals of any type. He also likes to cook and have others cook for him; home-cooked meals always trump the prepared-by-magic sort. Romantic relationships are also dear to him, as are relationships with the few that he may call his friends.
DISLIKES: Felix has never been one to enjoy thrills or scares, opting instead for calm, quiet activities in relaxed environments. Being a vegetarian, the young man doesn't exactly enjoy the idea of anybody eating his beloved critter-friends, but would probably never say so outright. And brussel sprouts never exactly tickled his fancy either.

HISTORY:
Felix was a very welcome mistake in the lives of Tiffany Johanna and Liam Do'Herty. Though his unplanned fetus could have potentially been aborted in the early stages of pregnancy with the help of magic, the young magical couple decided to keep the child, get married, and hope for the best. As a result of being born with two strictly pureblooded parents, Felix was born a beautiful 9 lbs 4 oz baby that, almost immediately after exiting the womb, singed the hairs off of one of the nurses' upper lips with a seemingly uncontrollable wave of magical heat.
Only three years later, his similarily pureblooded brothers Edvard and Rex were born in the same hospital, on the very same day. Though being fraternal twins didn't necessarily have any impact on their personalities, they formed a strong bond between themselves rather quickly, leaving Felix to feel a little excluded from his own family.
Though far from a perfect family, the Do'Hertys tend to mesh quite nicely. Usually. However, like most families, a simple argument can lead to another, then another, then another, until the siblings almost come to blows over something as ridiculous as a stolen jar of pickles. Despite their small annoyances, the family is about as close as a family could be without locking one's children up in the basement, which is apparent to just about anybody that happens to visit their household.
When Fee's letter came in the mail, he was elated. Growing up in the Do'Herty household had been nice, admittedly, but it was rather plain for a pureblooded family. He had loved making friends with the many muggle children of London, but had always wondered what it would be like to form bonds with those that he didn't have to keep secrets from. In the end, his excited-ness managed to defeat his meager doubts, and he left for Hogwarts with a warm, satisfied feeling in his heart.
