HISTORY: Stephon Taylor was on his way to the hospital when he got the news. His wife was about to have their babies. He was off at work which wasn’t like the normal Wizards of Hogwarts. Due to the fact that he was well a Muggle. Stephon had worked as school Teacher in Muggle London. He had received a phone call from his mother in law who told him he had to get their quick. Unfortunately for Stephanie he did not make it alive. Stephanie had no idea that her husband had been killed in a car crash trying to make it there on time to see the twins being born. When the first child was born she was able to say the girl’s name was going to be Devon Anna Taylor. She had just taken one good look at the baby girl and thought she looked like a Devon Anna Taylor to her. But just after she gave birth to the second baby she was pretty much dying. Just had enough to name the last child Dylan Taylor.
Now the Hospital had to decide what to do about the girls. They called the agency that takes cares of that and had not realized that the two girls where twins since they agency did not ask the Hospital Staff about the girl’s history. Devon got adopted by a family who had liked her actual last name and kept it Taylor and not changing the last name to McLean but they toyed with the idea of adding it to her name. But in the end they kept her last name to Taylor but loved her in general. Now Carson and Sarah Taylor couldn’t have any babies of their own. Due to the fact that Sarah didn’t have a womb due an car accident that caused her to lose it along with their first child that they were supposed to have. They loved her and raised her. Her adopted grandparents spoiled her a lot as she grew up.
Her adopted parents are both muggles so they had no idea that their baby girl was a witch. When she was three years old she had accidentally changed her parents couch which was at that point an icky color of puke green to a really beautiful shade of Sky Blue and Goldenrod Yellow. They looked at each other and wondered when they got a new couch but didn’t think nothing of it and loved it. They once cut her hair because it got way to long for her to take care of it when she was five years old and she somehow made it grow down past her shoulders. They had it cut down to her ears which she did not like. She thought it made her look like a boy. When she turned seven however she had realized that she had made someone’s hair turn blue and they had gotten into trouble for dying their hair at school when they didn’t and she tried to explain but couldn’t.
However on her eleventh Birthday which was October 31st she had received a letter of Acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by @lance. She showed her parents who were amazed and shocked but yet fully accepted the fact that their daughter was magical. When they had thought back to the past they had realized that it would explain why the couch changed colors and the fact that her hair had grown past her shoulders every time they cut it. And the fact one girl’s hair turned blue. Lewis then explained that her being magical had to be kept secret they had understood. They went off to Diagon Alley and went to Gringotts and gotten muggle money switched for wizard money once they had tried purchasing an wand for the girl mainly because they had forgotten that lewis had mentioned that they had to change muggle money into wizard money. Once they had the money they went back to the wand shop where she had tried finding an wand and after fifteen minutes after trying to find the right wand she finally found the wand that wanted her. It was 10.5", Unicorn Hair, Oak Wood.
When she got her stuff she was quite nervous to go to a different school that she had no idea about at all. She knew she didn’t want to leave her home in Muggle London where both of her parents were. Her mother worked as a Teacher while her father was a doctor. But not a doctor in a hospital but in a regular doctor’s office. When she got to Hogwarts she was amazed how big the school was. When she had placed the hat on her head the hat thought about placing her in Hufflepuff but in the end decided that Ravenclaw was the best house for her. She had joined the house and made good grades and good points her first year alone. She learned that she could fly fairly well for a first year. And she had no idea why she was a good flyer but she was. She had looked at a book of Hogwarts past players and found someone who had her last name through marriage. The name happened to be Stephanie Wilson. She read about the history that they had on her and found out that she had married a muggle whose name was Stephon Taylor.
Once she found that out she had owled her parents and they then explained that she was adopted to their family. She wasn’t mad at them for not telling her. She figured they wanted to tell her when the time was right and she hadn’t seemed to care until she found out that she was adopted. Devon went onto her second year and was enjoying her time there. She had tried out for the Quidditch team but failed to get onto the team. She was a bit disappointed but cheered her team on anyways. And then the next year she had tried again and this time got accepted as a reserve seeker not that she really got to play because the previous seeker was always healthy. She loved Seeking out the Golden Snitch or at least had hoped so. Always trying to figure out how to become a better seeker she was always asking some of her friends to hide a little yellow ball that resembled the golden snitch. And when they did she would try to find it. After a while she got it down to a T. Unfortunately she couldn’t always win the games she played. All she could do was well the best that she can do. She ended up being good player that they kept her for the next year. She just enjoyed flying. Getting good grades and being on the team had it’s perks.
Her adopted parents were so proud of their daughter for getting good grades and playing a sport. Even if it wasn’t a muggle sport. During the summers however she plays softball with the community center just so that she has something to do during the summer holidays. Her parents always had came out to see her play. For softball she was the pitcher and well at times third baseman. Which she liked both positions. It also kept her in good shape. And just as she’s going into her fifth year she was hoping that she was going to be Quidditch Captain. She was just glad her fifth year was coming up.
