HISTORY:
Mackenzie was born in a huge house within a magical village; she was the eldest of the Marks family. Her parents where proud pure-bloods and fully believed that blood purity and separation was the way the wizarding world should be run. Mackenzie was the pride of her parents then a year later her younger sibling was born. It was the same except the two of them shared the spot light. Being raised to see and agree with their views didn't seem to last long with Kenzie. She was raised and taught magic meant power; she didn't like how the family treated the house elves with in their home which was at the young age of five. Nicole and Jackson didn't take her standing against what they said very well, they convinced her that they did what they must to protect her. Mackenzie only being five nodded and agreed to do her best to fallow everything they say. One thing that pleased her parents was that she managed to get her first sign of magic at the young age of five; which wasn't common for most witches and wizards.
When she turned nine she went outside and wondered around, she found a muggle book laying at a park. It was very intriguing for her; Kenzie was very smart and loved to read. She didn't see the harm in bringing the book back but her parents found it to be a discouraging thing to get home and be holding a muggle book. Kenzie wasn't allowed to do much after they found out. Finally she was eleven and her Hogwarts letter came in the post. Her parents where so proud of her and knew this was going to help her see their views and how she should live.
Mackenzie got to Hogwarts and met muggleborns, they were nothing like her parents said. She knew believing in what her parents said was not going to do much for her or them. Kenzie thought about what house was going to be the best for her, she thought Hufflepuff but she knew her parents would find her an utter disappointment if she wasn't in Slytherin house. She knew she was going to be forced to lie to her parents; she wanted to live the way that was best for her. She had to be Cunning, intelligent and manipulative with her parents so she wouldn't be totally a disappointment to them; so when she was at the sorting ceremony with the hat upon her head she only thought of Ravenclaw and begged the hat to allow her to be placed in Ravenclaw because that was what she wanted. The sorting Hat Called out Ravenclaw and she couldn't believe that the hat listened to her and took her plea into consideration.
The next day she got a letter from her parents saying how disappointed they were that she wasn't living up to the family name. It was something along the lines that the Marks family has been Slytherin's for over a century and it was awful that she had to break it. It would have been the same thing if she was placed in Gryffindor house. Kenzie knew she would have to play the charade of hating anything less than pure-blood in front of her family; she was not going to be that way when she was at school, she wanted a life beyond the judgment of whose bloodline was better. Mackenzie was just going to be a kid that wasn't controlled by the chaos around her.
Throughout her six years at Hogwarts she had kept to it, finding close friends and learning she was more klutzy then anyone could possibly imagine. Finding that Hogwarts in her later years had cute boys that she could spend time with, she could be herself. With the more recent going on's at Hogwarts it being her final year she is up for the ride of her life.
