HISTORY:
The most distinctive thing about Jessie's life since she turned seven was how close she was to father. With a father on a professional quidditch team, the Tyler family spent alot of time travelling, though the one home Jessie and her brother, Dom felt they had was the home pitch of her father's team. As they got older, they both had to spend more time with the team, when the team wasn't practicing. This time with the quidditch team had opposite effects on Jessie and Dom. Between the ages of 7 and 11, Jessie grew closer to her father and quidditch, while her brother began to resent the amount of time the family had to put toward the team for his father. This difference pushed the twins apart, even when they stayed home with their mother. Dom would stay by himself in his room while Jessie spent time with her mother, who taught her to play guitar. These times alone with her mother were precious memories to her because her mom passed away just before she got her letter to Hogwarts.
Their mother's death, and beginning Hogwarts soon after, brought the two twins close again. They were sorted into the same house, and, at least for the duration of their first couple years, were nearly inseparable. Of course, as they got older they did go their own ways. Jessie began to get more involved with quidditch and planned on trying out for the team again in her sixth year. Dom still didn't like quidditch, so he found solace in his own passions. The years at Hogwarts were very important to both of them, especially given the tension home put on the sibling relationship they had. Not only did it give them a chance to grow as individuals, but it was also what brought them closer together. With Jessie being so closed to her twin brother, at first it was difficult for people to break through that shell, which built as a result of losing her mother. Around this time of loss, was also when she began to discover her ability to communicate with animals, or at least the pet cat, Ghost, her father had bought her. In the fear of breaking out and meeting new people (especially so soon after a loss), she also developed a close, though some would say strange, relationship with Ghost. He became her best friend whilst she worked through her shyness. However, as the years went on, she did become more of a social butterfly, though not always making friends with the best people. She did still have her brother to look out for her, and her to look out for him, though, as she grew up and made these mistakes.
