HISTORY: Theodore Harris was born as the oldest of two children to Virginia and Alfred Harris. His mother Virginia was a witch who went through Ravenclaw house at Hogwarts, and his father Alfred was a muggle who Virginia met just after she had finished school, and they quickly started a relationship and fell in love. This wasn't an issue as Virginia's family were halfblood themselves, so they had no issues with Alfred being a muggle. The whole magical thing was quite a surprise to him, but he loved Virginia enough that there was no way he would leave her, no matter what she told him.
When Virginia was 25, she had her first child, Theodore, and two years later they had a daughter, Heather. Ted and Heather grew up in a very loving family, although they weren't particularly open or in-depth in their relationships as a family. Still, they had a happy childhood, with Ted showing his magical ability at the age of five, when he levitated a book he wanted across the room to himself. His mother was delighted to see him showing his magical ability, glad that he and his sister would be able to go through Hogwarts.
Ted was sorted into Hufflepuff house, and he made a good group of friends there. He showed a keen interest in history, and particularly architecture, although this was not much of a focus at all during school. He would spend a lot of his time reading and found that he loved to learn new things, so he spent a lot of time in the library. Many people were surprised that he wasn't a Ravenclaw, but he also loved his friends dearly and his loyalty was very strong to them.
When he graduated, he spent time trying to find work as an architect, but this didn't work out for him very well as he often struggled to keep in a job. He has also gone through quite a lot of failed relationships, one of whom he was engaged to, but she left him at the altar. This has left him a bit emotionally scarred, and he quite often wonders if he will ever find the person to spend his life with. Since then, in the last few years, he has taken up a position as a Professor at Hogwarts, finding that he gets a lot of fulfilment out of teaching, and now that he has settled into the job well, he is very happy to stay there. He still is very much a romantic at heart and wishes to find true love, though.
