The trip to Italy had been a nice get away from United Kingdom but before he knew it Apollo was back home counting the days until he boarded the train and headed back to school. His father had suggested a family trip, somewhere that he and Cassandra could both enjoy but Apollo was quick to turn the idea down. Every holiday was the same with Cassandra and he was getting tired of it. His father had asked him to reconsider since there was still plenty of time before his next term but Apollo was positive his mind was made up, if his father was so set on a trip they could go with out him.
He'd tagged along with his father to Diagon Alley for the day. Having a coin sack loaded down with his spending allowance he was eager to pick up some of the things his father deemed unnecessary. He was quick to part ways with his father, agreeing to return to Florean Fortescue's later in the afternoon. He strolled down the alley peering into the shop windows to see just what was in side. There were many things he wanted to get for himself, books, quills, a new broom cleaning kit but he could not be haste about how he spent his allowance after all his father only allotted him so much spending money in the summer.
He turned away from the window of one of the pastry shops, a hard sight to peel his eyes from, but as he looked out into the people that wandered the streets he spotted a face he knew. "Lya!" He called out in hoped to get her attention. He headed towards her a smile on his face as he waved to her.
OOC: I'm sorry this is so bad ;o;

The trip to Italy had ended leaving Lyanna a bit saddened by the thought. She had a great time while she was there and spent loads of time with her friends, especially those who would be leaving Hogwarts. It was sad really, to think about them going. She had known them for so long and now she'd barely be seeing them once school started up. However, it was probably best that she focused on the positive, like the friends that were still in school with her. She had a ton of them and they would keep her occupied as always. There was still one downside though. She had gotten closer to someone on the trip; someone that had also just graduated. Vincent Greyback. She had never seen it coming, but after a run in with him and some of her friends, they hung out and got to know each other better than what they already did. Lyanna was going to miss seeing him around the halls of Hogwarts, but she would make a point to visit him when she could.
For the day, Lyanna had decided to travel to Diagon Alley. She was on her own, but she decided it would give her time to get her thoughts together. She had so much going through her mind about the Greyback boy that she didn't even know where to begin processing it. Maybe it was a good thing when her ears caught sound of someone calling her name. It definitely pulled her from said thoughts as she looked around to find the source of the voice; the familiar voice at that. Light brown eyes landed on Apollo Borden, causing Lyanna's smile to grow bright as she waved excitedly at the boy and ran up to meet him. Apollo was one of her closest friends despite the age difference. Well, he was only a year younger, so it wasn't that big of a deal, but the only time they really saw each other was if it was planned or in the common room because they didn't have classes together. "Hey!" She said as she was now only a short distance from him. "How are you?"
OOC; totally was not horrible love

Apollo picked up his pace to meet her once she acknowledged him. He took a moment to embrace her lightly before taking a step back, "Hey yourself!" There was a certain excitement in his voice. He was rather fond of Lyanna, there was a certain trust he had developed with her and in many ways he had come to think she acted more like an older sister to him then Cassandra ever did. Maybe this was why he held such high favor for her. Even so there was only so much time he got with Lyanna so to run into her here and today, well it made this day all the more better. Still with she asked how he was he gave a small smirk and a light shrug of his shoulders, "I'm alright." He would go into details later, "You getting an early start on your school shopping?" It was his round-about way of trying to figure out if he was interrupting her plans. He had ever initiation of asking if she wanted to go around with him for the afternoon, after all she was going into her final year who knew how much he'd actually get to see her after next summer.

Stopping as soon as they had closed the distance between them, Lyanna embraced her friend as he wrapped his arms around her. He was such a sweet thing. Lyanna truly adored Apollo and thought of him as another younger brother, instead of just another friend. She was just as protective over him as she was Colton and wanted all the happiness for him. If anyone were to hurt him, she'd surely show them what it truly meant to have nightmares. Lyanna was a kind person and never liked to hurt anyone, but if someone were to go after one of those she was close to, they would unlock a whole other side of her that rarely came out and no one wanted to see. "I'm glad to hear you're doing well, love!" She told him, a warm smile taking hold of her lips.
"Actually, yeah." She told him when he asked if she was shopping for school. "But I'd love for you to join me and we don't have to totally do that either. Just hanging out would be fine too." She chuckled, wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "I have plenty of time later to worry about school." Lyanna cared deeply about her studies and was on top of the game when it came to such things, but it was summer and school wasn't starting for another few weeks. Now that Apollo had showed up, she'd much rather pay attention to him. After all, it was her last year with him at Hogwarts. "So, how has your summer been?"

It was clear in his facial expression that her answer was just what he had been hoping for. Why couldn't have Lyanna been his sister instead of Cassandra? Or at least why couldn't Cassandra have been more like Lyanna? Because that was life. "I guess I could take time out of my busy day to go around shopping with you, gosh, could you be anymore demanding?" His tone dripped with sarcasm, Lyanna brought out a far more playful side of Apollo. He might as well have been grinning from ear to ear. He didn't mind what they did, just being around her was good enough for him. He slipped his arm around her shoulder and held her close, he was going to miss this.
"Really though, I'm all your's, you might even be able to talk me into carrying your shopping bag." Or he would insist, after all he had been raised with manners. When Lya asked about his summer there was little hesitation in his answer, "It was nice, the Italy trip was fun. My dad wanted to try a family trip to South America, thought it might interest Cassandra...." It'd been years since he had actually heard from Cassandra, let alone seen her. "It never happened though." It was frustrating for the young man, he'd never understood what he had done to make his sister hate him so. "What about you though?" He was rather curious, it was her final summer, or well the last one that occurred with a school year attached to it. He tried not to think too hard on that though, it was oddly overwhelming.
