conspiracy* please speak softly for they will hear us and they'll find out why we don't trust them speak up dear cause i cannot hear you i need to know why we don't trust them explain to me this conspiracy They knew what they were after, knew how to get into Hogwarts, and knew what to search for. The four items of the Hogwarts founders would be essential to using the Possession Pearl that Dathan Burke so graciously found for the Black Army. With the four items of the four founders, the Possession Pearl would allow Keira to take control of the magical energy from their bodies and harness it for herself - for the army. Keira grinned as, with her black hood up, she and her army rode onto Hogwarts School of Withcraft and Wizardy. Dathan, who was nearest to her, held the potent version of the potion they would need to knock out all of the people remaining at the school in order to search the castle. Their purpose was not to take control of the castle yet - no, just to search for the items that she needed. If they were to attack the castle, all chaos would break loose and, since Keira was at the charge, she wouldn't be able to do the required extensive search that she needed. No no, this mission was not to take control of Hogwarts, but to, instead, pause its inhabitants and take a special one captive.
As the castle came into site, Keira looked over her shoulder and laughed wickedly. "Ready, Burke?" she shouted, indicating for him to come forward at her side. The Dark Lady turned back round on her broom and sneered at the castle standing proudly before them. Many of the Professors would be away for holiday which would leave the castle defenseless against the army she brought with her. Aside from that, they also had the potion that would knock everyone into a very deep sleep, sending them to a near-death experience. She looked to the castle doors then back to Burke. "Get them open and get me in there," she demanded with a cold tone, looking back to the castle as they neared it, waiting for Burke to lead the way into the castle.

Dathan smirked wickedly as they neared the castle. Aside from what else would be gained from this night, this was a perfect chance to test the potion. They would need it later for future attacks on the school and other places. Burke wanted to make sure it was as powerful as the Veltrino family made it out to be, and he near The Dark Lady did as well. He moved to her side. A vial of the potion was his position as well as that of others with him. "I am ready, my Mistress," he said. "And the protective spell has been cast. The potion will not harm any of us."On The Dark Lady's command, the Army members flew in with Dathan in the lead. Burke knew that their arrival would make someone curious enough to open the door just enough. Someone did, and the Army members quickly opened their vials and unleashed the potion. The eerie cloud of smoke that was the Draught moved in and did its work. Whoever was inside would immediately fall asleep upon exposure. Dathan had two members open the doors before he turned back to the Dark Lady. He smirked and bowed his head to, motioning that she was free to enter. THE DARK LADY

conspiracy* please speak softly for they will hear us and they'll find out why we don't trust them speak up dear cause i cannot hear you i need to know why we don't trust them explain to me this conspiracy Keira watched as her army bombarded the castle with the vials of potion that Burke had obtained for them. A smirk fell upon her face as she landed on the cement, waiting for Burke to emerge from the wreckage of their Draught potion. As he did, she grinned at his bow and nodded. "Great work," she said with a raise eyebrow as she passed him and walked into the castle, her black cloak sweeping behind her as her heels clicked against the floor of the castle. She looked up at the tall ceilings and finally rolled her eyes at the figures from the paintings peering down at them. "You know, I forgot how...disappointing this school was," she said with a sigh. She stopped and turned round to look at her army members who were eagerly waiting for instruction.
"There's two things here. The other two founders items are in different locations - I can obtain them myself. As you all have attended this school you know it'd be impossible to locate an item here without many people...that's why you're here. Tonight we'll be looking for an item from Slytherin and an item from Ravenclaw. As you're aware, Slytherin created a chamber beneath the school to play host to a creature so horrible none of you could imagine facing it...you're to go to the chamber and bring me two things. First is a fang from the dead basilisk there - don't worry it won't harm you, but it will be useful to me in the future. The second thing from the chamber is a coin. On either side of the walkway toward the main section of the chamber there is a river and, at the bottom of the river, there will be a coin embedded with 'S.S.' This is Salazar Slytherin's himself and you must find it."
Keira then looked to another group of her army members and nodded at them. "Go to the library and, in the Restricted Section, you will find a book titled 'The Heart and Dark Magic.' Bring it to me - this is Ravenclaw's item. Despite the overlooking of this book for years, I discovered that Ravenclaw herself bought this book from a bookshop in France before the founding of Hogwarts. Yes...interesting, I know, and still you must bring it to me. Go." Keira turned from them and continued on her way, pausing only to look back at them, smirk, and continue once more.
"I have other business to attend to here."

(Doubling up for Dathan and Hiromi here)
Dathan and Hiromi listened to the plan and where they needed to go. With their numbers, it would be easy enough.
"I'll lead a group down to the Chamber, Mistress," said Burke. "With the potential that some of the younger in our ranks might get cold feet, they will need someone with a level head to guide them." And with that, he began to step away, secretly feeling glad that the beast who once lived below was indeed dead.
Hiromi felt a bit insulted by Dathan considering the younger members cowardly. She would have easily walked into the Chamber and grabbed the fang and the coin without hesitation. But she wouldn't even attempt to argue with The Dark Lady's right hand man. She decided instead to go with the group to the library. If the caretaker was around, she'd gladly deal with him. It would teach him to not be such a bloody busy body. It was a shame there were no prefects around for her to pick off though. She would have loved that, especially if it was that proud and proper Nanali. She'd give anything to do away with her and her annoying girlfriend Peyton as well.

Zach was in the group with Dathan Burke who were instructed to go down to the Chamber of Secrets. He had always wanted to go down there to explore it, and now he was going to get his chance. He stood up straight behind Dathan, ready to do what was required to make this mission a success. A basilisk fang, and... a coin. An heirloom of Slytherin himself. Zach held a great amount of respect for Salazar Slytherin and was looking forward to this opportunity.

Cora walked quickly beside Dathan and nodded while her lady spoke, she looked around just in case anything went wrong it never hurt to be extra cautious. 'Ill lead the group to library, My lady, just in case some of the younger ones get rowdy and forget why thy're there." and with that she left off to the library, Hiromi trailing behind her not that she cared.
She saw this as a grab an do mission, though she would kill anything that go in her way, she didn't want to jinx it but this all seemed to easy, though Wizards and Witches weren't all that smart these days. Still thinking Hogwarts was a safe place and strongly protected....the last war taught them nothing, they had learned from none of their mistakes perhaps that was what made this ll easier.

Chandler followed Cora, hood always drawn as to keep his identity a secret. He truly was hoping they'd find someone on the way, and that the lady would allow him to keep them, for his games of course. Being a former member of Ravenclaw, he had an intimate knowledge of the school's library. And upon arriving, he immediately set about searching the spines of each thick book that perched upon the shelves.
Frustrated each time there wasn't what he was searching for, Somniatis would blast that row of books to the floor, before resuming his search once more in a similar fashion. He, unlike Cora, hoped that making these actions would attract someone, after all a successful jinx would mean he might possibly have a toy to play with later. Granted they were muggleborn.

Fortunately for Dathan Burke, the Chamber of Secrets no longer needed one to speak Parseltongue to open it. The creature it once contained had been long dead and the chamber had not posed a threat since Harry Potter's second year at Hogwarts. Entering, Dathan turned to Zach and the others.
"You three, grab the fang from the basilisk's skeleton," he said to a trio behind Zach, pointing to the remains of the giant snake. The trio grew pale. "Oh, stop your quivering. The bloody thing has been dead for some time." He then looked at Zach and another. "You two come with me to find the coin."
As he looked about the Chamber, Burke removed his wand.
"Be on your guard," he said. "The draught hasn't reached this far down yet, and there could be those wandering about. If you spot anyone, kill then instantly. We cannot take any risks."
Dathan didn't know if the youths were ready to take a life yet, but he did know that himself and the other older dark magic users were. At the same time, he felt the youths wouldn't dare hold back from murdering someone. It would not leave a good impression on their mistress.

Post by MINERVA MCGONAGALL on Mar 16, 2014 22:27:33 GMT -5
Minerva sat in the Headmistress' office with peering eyes from the portraits on the walls. She was used to that, though, even when she acted as Deputy Headmistress and Albus was the proper occupant of the place. Minerva was writing yet another letter to send with one of the professors as they went to explain the 'magic situation' to a family of Muggles whose oldest son would be receiving his Hogwarts letter. Minerva always thought it was interesting to make those appearances, to explain to a family that their child was a wizard. There were definitely chances of injury, chances - or certainties, rather - of being yelled at, etc. Minerva liked it, though; it was interesting. Sitting in an office all day kept Minerva bored most of the time, but she was much too old to make such travels anymore. She could still apparate, sure, but it tired her. She didn't like admitting it, but she was sure she was in her last years of life. She'd been through so much in her life, too, and she loved her life. She'd seen death, felt heartache, but also felt happiness and love that she could never have imagined doing anything else but teaching. She was grateful for her life, to say the least.
When she heard a sort of explosion from below, Minerva sat up in her chair and listened closer. She heard a few more explosions and then - nothing. Minerva knew the school was being infiltrated. She sighed. She felt it better to stay where she was, as someone was obviously coming for her. She stood from her chair and grabbed her wand off the desk, gripping it at her side until, at last, the form of a young woman came walking through the open door. Minerva knew her immediately.
"Keira O'Reilly, what a surprise."
Keira sneered with her own wand in hand, looking at the old bag from across the room.
"McGonagalll - you're looking old as ever. And they call me The Dark Lady, now. Stupefy!"
Minerva raised her wand but she hadn't expected the spell so quickly. Dueling simply wasn't as it used to be, where there was some sort of common courtesy - an exchange of conversation. The spell wasn't incredibly strong, though, but it was strong enough to knock Minerva onto her back. The old witch yelped and dropped her wand, leaning her head backward and cringing in pain. Keira grinned and walked forward, her heels clicking against the old floors.
Keira picked up Minerva's wand and examined it, then looked down at the woman on the floor, staring up at her. "Why?" Minerva asked.
"Oh, shh shh," Keira cooed, squatting down beside her and smirking. "I'm not going to kill you, Minerva."
Keira stood up and grinned down at the woman. "But you certainly won't be returning to Hogwarts this year," she said, then pointed her wand at the old woman, watching her lift her hands above her face. "Stupefy!" she yelled, then watched the woman close her eyes, stunned. "Wingardium Leviosa," Keira muttered, then walked out of the Headmistress' office with the Headmistress floating mid-air behind her.
