Charlie did mention that he enjoyed London quite a bit right? Charlie didn't get to go to London too often but when he did it was for important things that needed to get done. Charlie had never really had someone that he wanted to go across the country to visit. Well into essentially another country. The United Kingdom was one bunch of little countries into one. Charlie lived in Wales, traveling from Wales to London took a few hours and a bit money to be able to get there. In fact on the average trip to and from London cost Charlie about two-hundred pounds. It was not simple pocket change so he bought a rail card to help him save some money through his trips. Luckily Charlie knew better than to spend his money on anything unless he really needed it. It meant that he held more money than he let on. There was a spot in his room that he kept his spending money and the rest of it was saved. He probably had a couple thousand pounds that he had saved over the years.
Yesterday was the trip to London. This wasn't his normal trip to London though, he wasn't going for school books, he was going to see the one girl that mattered so much to him, Aisling Dolohov. They had started dating at the end of their last school year and it had made Charlie very happy. He was super curious though if one Drew Reinhardt had found out about this yet. He knew that the other male couldn't stand it when Charlie spent his time with her. They were friends and yes, she was born to a family that believed in the whole blood purity ideas. The train ride was the same as any other he had plugged in his music and sat on the train for a couple hours as they made their way into London. Once he reached he went to the nearest cheapest hostel he could find. Sometimes he stayed at the Leaky Cauldron but it was a bit more expensive than what he was planning to spend at the moment. Especially if he was going to take Aisling out for a wonderful time. Besides sometimes a hostel was fun to stay in.
Today he had remembered that he was meeting Ais at Hyde Park in London. It wasn't too far from the center of London, in fact just around from the Buckingham Palace. He was sure that she would have no problem meeting him right there. Foreign muggles had an easy time finding Hyde Park. He just had to hope that she'd find him now. He had dressed nice into some nice black pants and a button up yellow and black plaid shirt. He'd even attempted to tame his hair a little bit. He waited by the Underground Station for Hyde Park and waited for her to meet him. He had slid his earbuds into his ears as he kept his eyes out for her. Music was nice to listen to when you were trying to be patient but being incredibly excited at the same time. He couldn't wait for her to arrive whatsoever. He was so incredibly excited.

She left home very early and very quietly that morning, before the sun came up to catch a bus to the nearest underground station to get on the first train to London. One thing Aisling loved about her father, and probably it was the only thing she ever truly loved about him, was that he never questioned. He gave orders – clear ones – but never questions. And she was grateful to him for that, especially when she had to deal with enough questions at school. The isolated suburb of England was in dead silence when she made her way out of it. All the windows were closed and nothing ever moved, except for her small figure. It was the beginning of summer but there was something about the neighborhood that made everyone shudder and shiver. Things would look less awful after dawn but she doubted she could have waited until then, for she knew after dawn there would be a Drew to keep her from walking through the door. She would not mind listening to him, but not today. The training could wait, her father's will could wait, Drew could wait. But she could not wait to see Charlie.
Sitting on the underground train, Aisling absentmindedly looked out the window. It was perfect darkness. Her heartbeat was racing with the train – the feeling she had never had before. Aisling had tried – she swore to God that she had – to stay away from Charlie Valdez. She was born and raised to despise muggleborns. But her efforts had met with failure. She had known she could not stay away from him when she realized how hard it was to take her eyes off him, his bright eyes and his kind smile. Charlie was like no other. With him, Aisling felt peace and safety. For so long she had been facing the world on her own. For so long she had been telling herself that she did not need anyone to protect her, to make her feel safe. And Charlie made her see how badly she needed someone to count on, someone to help her forget who she was and focus on who she wanted to be. With him, she did not have to worry about joining Black Army or serving the Dark Lady to please her father. He was the serenity of her soul. So please, just for one day, let her be with him.
Hyde Park Corner. The letters seemed as though they were pushed backwards as the train past them. Soon, it stopped. Aisling thought her heart stopped with the wheels. She heard people talking about the weather – it was a beautiful day. When the doors were opened, the girl hurriedly rushed out and made her way through the noisy crowd. Her eyes searched everywhere for a familiar figure as she walked. Suddenly, she stood still and a mischievous smile crossed her lips when her gaze settled on someone. All she could see from where she was standing was his back, but she knew she was never wrong or mistaken – not when it came to Charlie. Smoothening her skirt and moved a lock of hair from her eyes, the Ravenclaw sneakily approached the person. Without a warning, she jumped to wrapped her arms around his shoulders from behind then burst out laughing. “Sorry I'm late.” His warmth once again made her feel so safe. tag: CHARLIE GABRIEL VALDEZ note: it's perfect! <3333TEXT MADE BY ARRO @ CAUTION 2.0

Charlie did not think of the possibility that Aisling would not come and meet him here even after planning the trip. He had never thought of that possibility. Sure it would be easy. She lived with her father and Drew lived not too far from her. It would have been extremely easy for someone to keep her there with them and not let her go to visit Charlie. He was free to do his own thing. Charlie grew up fast as a child especially after his siblings were born, his mother trusted him to make the right decisions. The only thing she ever asked of him was if he was planning on going somewhere that he let her know, that was a promise that he'd never broken. He had helped his sisters study when he wasn't working or visiting London, the latter a rare occasion.
Charlie's eyes swept the crowd eying every figure that passed him by. He did not see one Aisling Dolohov, but that was okay. Charlie knew that even if she didn't meet up with him because of some reason back home, he could at least enjoy a day in London by himself. He still had a whole day in London before he'd hop on the train again tomorrow to go back to Gwynedd. He just had to hope that Aisling would show up.
And of course as he took another look around he had arms wrapped around him from behind before she started laughing. ”Sorry I'm late.” Charlie pulled out his earbuds and shook his head. ”You're not late, I'm early, as nice as a hostel is, I'd much rather be here in the park than there in the dormitory,” he told her. Charlie would soon be an adult in the wizarding world, it helped him think more like an adult now. At the beginning of August he would be able to do magic outside of school. He would be an adult in the eyes of the wizarding world. He could do as he pleased and this was something that made him excited. Of course he would be finishing his year up at Hogwarts so he could get a good job. Something that was a lot better than working at the small town grocer in Gwynedd. He turned to return her hug and held her nice and close. She was familiar, a friend that he was glad to have. She was someone that maybe he should have known better than to get involved with but the heart travels where it wants to be. He was a muggleborn and her family, and some of her friends were blood purists. If Drew had a target lined up to Charlie's back now it was even stronger, he was sure that if Drew knew there would be nothing to stop him. He didn't even like Charlie hanging out with Aisling. Maybe in the long run it wouldn't end up working out but they were a school time relationship and Charlie didn't think about the what could happen. It was about the moment right then and there and not any others in the world. Charlie really liked Aisling so why would he want to believe that she and he would not work out.
He reached down and turned off his mp3 player to make sure that the device wouldn't lose charge. He couldn't remember if he had brought the charger and he would most definitely need it to make that train rider home. He had reached over to take her hand. ”Want to walk around The Serpentine?” he asked referring to the body of water within Hyde Park. Charlie enjoyed the outdoors. It was where he was comfortable. He enjoyed being around people, the sound of hustle and bustle was music on his ears. Comfortable was a place that Charlie liked to be. At some point they could also get some food around the area. He also knew that if she preferred doing other things he would be okay with that as well.

When Charlie mentioned a hostel, Aisling found herself instinctively tightening her embrace around him a little, for she realized how selfish she had been to ask him to come to London just to meet her. She heard about his family and that money was not something they could spare. Though it could not be said that her family was wealthy, money hardly troubled her. Charlie gave her an impression of someone who did not like to complain; never had she heard a word of pessimism escape his lips. Unlike her, the Hufflepuff boy did not have the tendency to make people worried about him. Perhaps that was the reason why it was so easy to be with him and to talk to him – he made everything seem okay, even if it was not. And on that account, sometimes Aisling utterly forgot to notice how he felt, what he wanted and what he needed. ”Then you have to know how happy I was to see you here waiting for me. No one has ever come such a long way only to see me.” She told him quietly with a tender smile on her lips. Well, there was Drew Reinhardt who had returned from Germany to help her be ready for the path she had chosen – serving Black Army and assisting the Dark Lady in purifying the wizarding world. But she doubted it had been his idea to leave Durmstrang Institute, where no muggleborns would ever stand in his way, for her sake. Not that she took what he had done for her for granted of course. It was just she had not known what it felt like to be treasured for who she was, until Charlie came.
Aisling almost dodged his arms on account of her strange instinct when he turned around to give her an embrace, but she was thankful that she did not. She felt blood rushing to her cheeks the moment Charlie pulled her in for a hug. The Ravenclaw froze with her eyes widening like an idiot as she felt his warmth covering her. His hair brushing against her face and his scent scattering in the air around her – all of them made her heart race in a way she could not explain. A faint, transient but bright smile crept across her pale face and lightened it. The hug did not last too long, but long enough for her to assure herself that it had been a wise decision to abandon Drew and her training to get here and see Charlie. But at the same time, she felt something sharp in her heart. Every so often, she asked herself how long the peaceful and pleasant feeling she had with him would last, and how he would react if he ever found out that she was not the person he believed she was. Would he run away from her and hate if he knew she was to destroy him and people with “impure” bloodline? Possibly. But Aisling knew she would live with it. But she could not live if his life was in danger because of her. She knew she would never forgive herself if anything happened to him. Maybe she should have stayed away from him and ignored all of her stupid feelings for him, for the sake of his and her own. She couldn't.
"What is it?" She asked as watching Charlie turning off the little solid thing he carried in his pocket. It took her a great deal of efforts to ask him only one of thousands of questions she had inside her head. ”Oh, sure! I'd love to.” She uttered almost instantly when he asked if she wanted to walk around the Serpentine. But one second later, she looked at him with a curious look on her face. ”But one thing, what is the Serpentine?” Said Aisling, sounding like a child. She knew a few things about muggle world, like the underground railway and vending machines, all thanks to her brother. However, Ethan did everything in his ability to keep her from everything with a muggle label on it for fear that she would be corrupted like her brother had been. Aisling had been telling herself that it was wrong to approach the world of the ones she was taught to look down on. Maybe she should reconsider the concept of right and wrong, because there was so much about this world, and about him that she wanted to know.
Lost in thoughts, she did not notice at all that her hand was in his. Neatly and perfectly. tag: CHARLIE GABRIEL VALDEZ note: da feels! xDTEXT MADE BY ARRO @ CAUTION 2.0

There was one thing that Charlie disliked more than being picked on because of him being a muggleborn and that was complaining because he hadn't had money. Sure it came up from time to time and sometimes a complaint could be issued but he still did the things he enjoyed to do even if it cost him a bit of extra money. He had money saved and this was money that he had to save to be able to do things he wanted. This was money that would, once he got a good job in the wizarding world, go to his mother and sisters to help them out. Charlie liked to believe that he was a strong person. He didn't want a fuss over him at all. He never had and never would. ”Then you have to know how happy I was to see you waiting for me. No one has ever come such a long way only to see me.” Charlie smiled widely. ”I like to get out of my home town, sometimes Gwynedd is not all it's cracked up to be,” he laughed, ”as they say cartref yw lle mae'r galon. Or home is where the heart is. Makes me happy to be here standing in Hyde park with you right now.” He was very happy to be standing with Aisling right now, getting ready to take her into his muggle world and immerse the pureblood completely.
If Charlie had known exactly what Aisling was planning on doing with her life, he wouldn't be sure on how to react. Sure he'd known the whole time that she was from a muggle hating family, but she never gave him the impression of someone who would follow in such footsteps. And sure sometimes family was stronger in the end but Charlie hadn't exactly had the best of families in the world, but he would do anything for his sisters if someone asked, move the whole world for them. Charlie was glad that in the end she didn't care about the blood status of himself and she went full force. He really wondered if any of her family had known.. They probably would have never allowed her to leave her house.
The seventeen year old chuckled as she asked him what his mp3 player was. ”Is a music player,” he told her. He pulled it back out and put an earbud into her ear and turned it on. ”Plays some of my favorite music, you have to buy the music and put it onto the mp3 player to be able to listen to it.” He grinned widely, ”one beautiful thing about the muggle world is there's all these little things out there that can help you access the world at a touch.” Charlie would never forget his muggle roots, he'd been too ingrained on them to forget. He loved working hard for the things he wanted. He loved learning muggle ways of doing things that wizards could do with the flick of a wand or the mutter of a spell. Charlie was a muggleborn and he knew that he was going to be that for the rest of his life, so why should he forget where he came from just because he now has magical powers and can do things that pureblooded wizards could do.
Her enthusiasm for walking around the Serpentine almost made Charlie laugh. He looked at her and grinned softly. ”It's easier to show you than to tell you, but it's spetacular that such a thing exists not far from Buckingham Palace,” he told her. It was a lake that was seventeen feet deep and was several acres big. They even allowed swimming on the lake. There were very important muggle monuments within the parks themselves, some of the surrounding the lake. Birds flew in a floated across the water. It was simple enough to say this place within the city of London was amazing. Who could blame him for wanting to spend his time here inside the park. There was also Reagent's Park that wasn't too far that also had the London Zoo inside of it. Some things you could find within the city of London was incredibly interesting. He'd actually never been to the London Zoo because of lack of money but he had been able to see some of the animals when he was a child from the outskirts of the zoo. Like the giraffes you could see from Reagent's Park. They also had a lake in that park. So amazing.
He held her hand carefully in his own and made way to take her to the lake. It wouldn't be long before they got to the bottom of it and he could show her one of his favorite places in London. His brown eyes scanned over to her and he smiled. They reached the body of water. ”This is the Serpentine, there's another part of it that's called Long Water but it's all the Serpentine to most people,” he smiled widely.

Aisling tilted her head to a side, trying to listen when Charlie spoke a language that she could not understand. It took her less than a second to guess what language it was. Not that she was any familiar with it, though. It was just Charlie had mentioned his hometown before speaking the language. Home is where the heart is. A faint and wistful smile grew on her face on hearing that. Home was where her heart was shattered into millions of pieces, where all the haunting memories of her mother and her twin would never leave her alone, where she was forced to get used to hurting, where love never existed. But it was the only home she had. “Cartref yw lle mae'r galon.” She quietly rephrased what he had said. A glint of bliss appeared in her dark eyes when he told her he was happy to be there with her. If only he had known how much it meant to her – how much he meant to her.
That moment, Aisling Dolohov knew that she would not let anyone who dared to hurt Charlie live through the day.
She leaned back a little as though she were trying to dodge the earbud Charlie put into her ear. Not knowing the object seriously caused her anxiety, she was not the one for surprises or anything unexpected. Besides, the most basic skills of a fighter was vigilance. She was scolded by Drew Reinhardt for letting her guards down too easily all the time during their training. All the same, her wariness vanished almost instantly when sweet melodies came to her ears. Looking up at him from the Mp3 player, Aisling could not hide a smile of both excitement and astonishment. The feeling was just like the first time she had her own wand. “Music is really playing!” She uttered enthusiastically. Her gaze fell upon the device again as she wondered how that little thing could keep all the songs inside it. “It's so...” She paused, trying to find a good word. “...magical.” The word slipped out of her lips tenderly. It came as a great surprise to her to see a non-magic thing could be so wonderful. Charlie mentioned that music had to be bought and Aisling immediately wanted to know how they could put music in the music player. But all the questions were forgotten when a new song was played. Without a warning, she put the other earbud in his ear. “I like this song.”
A lot of images popped up in her head when he talked about the Serpentine. She was leaning to the theory of it being something...solid. Maybe it was a building. She came up with other theories, too, but she eventually decided to stick with the first one. The Ravenclaw let him take the lead with complete trust. The roads were unfamiliar and she knew none of the faces that passed her by. Still, the warmth of his hand made she feel safe and secured. It was always easy to breathe when Charlie was around. Aisling did not get to travel a lot. Not that Ethan did not let her. It was the idea of being in somewhere new scared her for she was not fond of unfamiliarity. The vastest thing she had ever seen was the night sky with sparkling stars. They seemed even more majestic when she watched them from the rooftop of the Ollivander with Xochilt.
This is the Serpentine. Charlie solemnly announced. Before her lied a vast space of water. Aisling did not even realize that she was holding her breath. She had seen a lake before, particularly the Black Lake at Hogwarts. But it was not half as alive as the Serpentine, or so she thought. It looked as if the lake were reflecting the skies. “I didn't know there's such a beautiful place in London.” She muttered under her breath, still staring at the water. Suddenly, her gaze fell upon a bridge. “Come. I want to take a closer look at the water.” She said with a smile before she squeezed his hand a little and dragged him to the bridge. The wind blew against her face and sunbeam danced on her hair. Aisling never knew she could feel this way. tag: CHARLIE GABRIEL VALDEZ note: <3333TEXT MADE BY ARRO @ CAUTION 2.0

Charlie grinned from ear to ear when she repeated the Welsh words. Even people in Wales for the most part didn't speak the language. Sure it was sometimes your first language but people treated it as a second language that was not important. There was one thing about Charles Gabriel Valdez though, he was very about where he grew up, how he grew up and who he grew up with. Whenever he had a chance to speak his first language he would seize that opportunity the moment he could. Charlie was extremely proud of who he was and where he came from, there was no question about it. When she spoke the words he leaned over and gently kissed her lips before a bright blush flourished across his face. It made him excited. If only she had any idea on how much she actually meant to him.
He had chuckled a bit as she had tried to dodge the earbud. ”I promise nothing I show you today will bite, unless it's a dog in the park and even then I don't think one will bite you,” he told her with a wide grin. Charlie would never attempt to hurt Aisling. He was in love with her and he would make sure that she would be perfectly fine during her real first muggle day. He smiled when her face relaxed as the music began playing. Her words were of almost astonishment that the music was actually playing. He watched as she looked a the little device and spoke of it being magical. ”Despite popular beliefs muggles are actually quite good at making amazing little things like this,” he told her softly. He then laughed as she slid the other earbud into his ear as she told him that she liked this song. ”You know, I like this song too,” he said, ”one cool thing about this, is that I get to pick what music I like and then download it onto the player itself.” Magic folk never really had the opportunity to play with computers and have the touch of such things right at their fingertips. They also weren't completely lazy and sat in front of a computer all day long playing video games.
There were good and bad things about both worlds and Charlie counted himself as one of the lucky few who got to experience both worlds. Magic born children, unless born to a muggleborn, typically never live their life in the muggle society. Their children never got to go to a muggle school, learn muggle things, and sometimes that meant they were scared of what the muggle world held within it. Muggle children, were raised in this world where magic is fiction and beyond the mind's ability to accept such things. Muggleborn children though, those that showed magical signs, when old enough will get to experience something that was from fairytales, but some like Charlie really enjoy where they came from as well. Any child that Charlie ever had in the future would be allowed to live in both worlds. Experience such things that he grew up with and those that he lived with after the age of eleven.
Charlie gripped her hand tightly as he showed her the body of water. The Serpentine in Hyde Park was a place that a lot of people enjoyed visiting. Hyde Park was one of his favorite destinations in London. She said something that confirmed on why he liked her so very much. She thought it was beautiful. And then she squeezed his hand and took him towards the bridge. Charlie smiled. ”You want to know the best part about this place?” he asked her as he pulled himself up onto the wide stone railing of the bridge and moved his legs over to hang towards the water. ”This place, you can access for absolutely no money if you don't want to spend it, all this life is free, every bit of it, it really shows you how much life is actually worth than going around to amusement parks and spending a ton of pounds to go in, stand in line, when I can come here and look at a magnificent view from this very spot for free, and then I can go enjoy a large meal from somewhere,” he told her. Food was always first priority. Why spend money on useless things when you can get a great memory from a place that was free? Money that was much better spent of things you needed like food. ”You know this lake is completely man-made?” he asked her.

She did not have enough time to think when she saw Charlie leaning closer. Just as she was about to ask what he was doing, the feeling of his lips on hers forced her eyes to close before she even noticed. Her heart started pounding and the whole world seemed to disappear. The kiss did not last too long and it was not anything too passionate or fiery like described in novels. But it was the sweetest thing she had ever known. Her brown eyes stared into his and a childish smile crept over her face after he had pulled away. “You're blushing.” She teased him. Aisling found it surprising how she managed to trust the boy standing before her so much. Had it not been Charlie but someone else, she would have thrown a punch at his face and made sure that it would at least leave a noticeable bruise there. But she had let her guards down. Fears did not seem to exist so long as her hand was in his. All of her wounds started healing when he was around.
A laugh escaped her lips when Charlie convinced her that she would not be bitten by anything he showed her, particularly the earbud. “It won't and it can't bite me.” She uttered instantly without thinking after his mention of a dog. It would probably be dead before it could dig its teeth in her skin. She did not learn non-verbal magic and other combat skills for fun – she could take care of herself. Then again, she had no intention of proving it to him. A normal sixteen-year-old girl usually yelled for help or at least tried to run when she was in trouble, not cutting her enemies' throats then leaving to bleed to death. “Most people I know don't know how to enjoy life at all.” She said, shrugging a little. Her father said that all of muggle's creations were only a way for them to pity themselves a little less. Drew and Dahlia probably thought the same, if not worse, about muggles and their capabilities. Aisling was supposed to do that. She was brought up that way. But here she was, utterly astonished by some trivial made-by-muggle music player which any blood purists would despise. Why couldn't she be more like what her father wanted her to be? The Ravenclaw cracked a cheerful smile when he told her he liked the song, too. Then he went on to explain another cool thing about the device. That moment, she knew she would have to get one like it one day. “When I have one, you have to show me how to...download?” She spoke, hesitating a little on the word “download” as she was not very sure what it meant.
It was not the first time she had entered the muggle world. Oliver had mentioned it on several occasions and she had actually been to a muggle night club with him and some other friends with fake ID's. But she had not got into the club as they had been busted and kicked out of the place. She had heard things, seen things. But she had never known them like she did now. The world Charlie opened to her was something beyond her imagination. It was not heaven or such, but it was indeed very bright, and hopeful. Or was it Charlie that gave hope to the scenerio?
The beauty of the Serpentine amazed her so much that she thought she was likely to drop her jaw anytime. The water seemed like a mirror as she got closer. The bridge looked old yet strong, as though time and the flow of water could not do anything to it. Aisling leaned over the railing to watch the water with great interest as Charlie pulled himself up onto it. He started to speak again, and this time his voice was filled with the kind of certainty she had not known before. It was like he knew what he was doing and it was not a mistake. He talked about the place being totally free. A tender smile crossed her pale face. “I feel free here, with you.” It was true. There was no right or wrong. The wrong things felt so right whereas the right things felt so wrong. There was no one to tell them “no”. There was nothing to chain her to the ground. She could fly now.
“No way! Are you serious?” Her eyes widened when he asked if she knew the lake was completely man-made. “The lake? Completely made by man? How could it be possible? They have no...” Magic. Aisling left her saying unfinished lest she should say something she should not. It was hard to believe what people could do with their hands. Perhaps our hands are the most magical thing in the world that no wand can compare. tag: CHARLIE GABRIEL VALDEZ note: da feels! <3333TEXT MADE BY ARRO @ CAUTION 2.0

Charlie looked at her as she noted that he was blushing. He grinned as she had seemed very comfortable with that fact. That he was very happy about, she didn't turn away or yank quickly. He loved that she didn't mind his lips upon her own. Something about Aisling Dolohov made him feel very comfortable in his own skin. She helped him feel perfectly safe and that nothing else mattered in the world.
The young man had laughed at her reply about the dog not biting her. ”Don't try and scare me off,” he told her. A large grin came to his face. Charlie was himself around Aisling. Not that he tried to be anyone else anywhere else but sometimes there were just ways to fit into a certain mold. One thing that she made him do, was be the kid that grew up in the muggle world. He wasn't the young man who went to six previous years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he was the kid from Wales who grew up studying at home and working his arse off to eventually make something out of himself. He was the kid who had a little bit of extra special bits to him. He was the kid that was goofy and fun to be around. Charlie was the young man who had so many different things that helped him become the Charles Gabriel Valdez that he was meant to be.
”Most people I know don't know how to enjoy life at all.” ”Life is about finding where you fit into place. Everyone enjoys life a little differently,” he told her with a small smile. Even people like Drew Reinhardt enjoyed life in some demented way. Charlie knew there were grumpy people but it was all about enjoying life in your own way. He watched a smile come onto her face. ”Of course I can show you,” he told her, ”in fact for Christmas holiday I should get you down to my house for a day and I can show you how to download music.” When she had spoke that word she didn't quite seem sure of herself. She was a witch in a muggle world at the moment. She was in a place where she'd never really been.
Charlie heard her tell him that she felt free with him. He reached out his hand to help lift her up on the edge of the bridge railing with him. ”Come on, it's much better up here,” he told her with a grin. This was the best thing that he could imagine doing with Aisling. It was absolutely perfect to bring her here. This made him very excited, so very happy.
Her shock to the lake being made by man was incredibly funny and he couldn't help but laugh. He gripped the railing to make sure he didn't slip off into the water below. ”They have no magic, but the muggle world, has so much magic in it, even without what our definition of magic is,” he told her. ”Our buildings are made by machines that help, the hand of man is magic, and it's the only magic most people need, witches and wizards get an extra hand at that, but we're all in it together,” he told her, ”you'd be amazed what muggles can really do. I know of at least two people who would probably drop dead at the capabilities of muggles, of where I come from. This world isn't scary, this world is handy and doesn't care about certain things.” A smile came to his face, ”I can't wait to show you more.” He chuckled slightly and gripped her hand tightly.
