Hot Chocolate with marshmallows. (Don/Lil)

Lily was snuggled up in her bed, she had been dreaming about playing her first real game with the team and that's when it started to turn in to a nightmare. The girl was flying on her broom, doing her part when she lost control of her broom and started to fall to the ground. As she fell she screamed, and this caused the red headed girl to sit up in bed and look around. Her breath was fast and deep. Lightly the girl stood from her bed and ran her fingers though her hair. Taking a deep breath the girl made her way down to the living area of the dorms, noticing that no one was awake at the time she smiled.

She started to make hot chocolate. As she finished the cup she started to look around for marsh mellows. Finding herself looking in the bottom cupboards she smiled and reached down grabbing the bag, she then came back up and put some of the sweet puffy clouds in her drink and put the bag back. Taking the cup and finding herself a spot on the couch near the fire she smiled and watched the flames flicker. As she watched the crackling wood she sipped on her drink and enjoyed the quite of the castle.

Although a short time she started to get cold, pulling her legs up to her she tried to keep warm. she would have gone back to bed but she didn't want to go though the nightmares she was getting the last month. No dream was the same though, they were all different and they all showed her falling. Yet the girl didn't really tell anyone because she believed they would just go away soon.

Donovan's sleep was a rather restless experience as well, though for a different reason than Potter's poor slumber-experience. No, Greyback's unrest had more to do with the lunar cycle, and that as of late the different phases which drew nearer to the height of the orbital body's visibility had a habit of setting the werewolf on edge. Instead of frightful mental images which instilled fear into the young man, he would wander through the woods in these dreams, on all fours, hunting something. Nothing specific that Don knew of, just something.

From nowhere, Don's eyes flew open, and he sat up in the four-poster bed. A light shine of sweat reflecting light from his brown skin, and slightly wet hair.

Using a nearby basin, filled with water which the gryffindor had conjured, Greyback washed his hair with some of the cold liquid. Using the rest to splash into the werewolf's face, Donovan then turned and pulled on a robe. Making his way down the stairs, Don found himself in the common room, with a Lilly Potter already seated in one of the large chairs. "Oh, hey Lil." The gryffindor said to the elder girl, looking down a bit as he made his way towards where the food was.

Picking up an apple, the wizard made his way to one of the other chairs and took a seat, withdrawing the archy comic that was resting in one of the pockets, before taking a bite of the fruit and reading, in order to feel less awkward. The girl he had a huge crush one was just sitting there, and for the first time in what felt like ever, they were alone.

Lily herd the boy walk down but she hand quite looked up yet. Listening to the boy make noises where the food was she sipped on her hot chocolate and watched the fire burn. yet as the boy sat down in a empty chair the girl finally took her eyes off the fire and looked up at him. Lightly the girl's cheek turned a shade of red as she checked him out. He was even more dreamy in the light of the fire then she expected. The girl looked down at her drink and noticed she needed more Marshmallows. The girl stood and walked over to get some, then she came back with the bag and a new glass of hot chocolate.

Lily was in fuzzy hello kitty shorts and a tank top, the the outfit was making her cold. yet she just seemed to curl in to the chair more, hoping for some warmth, she wanted to get a blanket of fumble her way back to bed but she was really hoping to speak with Donavan and wishing on all the stars in the world that he would want to speak with her as well.

Yet as he pulled out the comic she wondered if she should talk to him. Taking a sip of her hot chocolate she smiled and looked at him. She wanted to speak with him but she didn't want to take her eyes or attention from him, after all he was very attractive. As he turned his attention to the comic, Lily huffed quietly she wanted his attention like he had hers, lightly the girl reached in the bag of marsh mellows and pulled one out, throwing it at the boy so she could get his attention.

Donovan pretended to scan the contents of the pages as he flipped through them, but in reality he had very little interest in what the shenanigans of the cartoon characters were involved with. Peering over the top of his book as Lily stood up and retrieved more marshmallows, Don quickly re-hid his face behind the pages as she returned, hoping that the girl hadn't noticed. The werewolf's face had been turned to a shade of red similar to her own when he noticed just how good the girl looked in her pajamas.

Continuing to thumb the pages of his small book, he was nearly at the back cover, and would soon run out of time for that particular thing to not be noticing her when Don really was noticing her. The sound of huffing reaching his ears, Donovan lifted his gaze a bit to train it on Lily. Seeing the marshmallow in the middle of its trajectory towards him. If the current arch of movement continued unchanged it would simply deflect off of his book's cover.

Using his awesome quidditch reflexes, Greyback quickly lowered the comic and snatched it from the air with his teeth. Drawing it into his maw, Donovan chewed the bit of soft sugar a few times, then swallowed the small snack. Giving Lily something of a grin, Don remarked, "you know, if you wanted to talk, you could have just said something."

In his head, the wizard was all kinds of ecstatic about Potter's initiating the conversation, and now he could be comfortable with continuing into some type of verbal exchange.

She smiled when he spoke to her. "I just wanted to throw stuff at you." She was excited to be having a conversation with the boy she had been crushing on since she could remember. she then took a drink of her hot chocolate and looked at the boy. Soon she started to gain a red color on her cheek as thoughts ran though her head. Lily wanted to tell the boy the real reason why she threw the sweet snack but she was worried he wouldn't feel the same. She wanted to tell him that she had a huge crush on him and that she wanted to be his gal but she didn't know how to start or even if he had liked her that way back.

"Donavan?" the girl began to speak she was going to bring up the topic one way or another. "I-I really want to ask you something." Here it goes, she was going to tell him. now was a better time then any other. "I um, Well, Um....." her face was a deep red. "could you hand me the blanket?" she hit her head with her hand lightly. 'come on lils your such a dork, you totally blew the moment to tell him that you liked him.' lily thought to herself.

Chuckling a bit at what Lily said, Don simply shrugged and retorted, "well feel free to then, I don't mind you throwing things." Returning to pretending that he was reading a comic in the process. Reclining further into the chair, it was clear that Greyback was not the most comfortable with the situation, and even though he was absolutely thrilled by the idea of getting to hang out with Lily alone, the werewolf still remained entirely unsure of what he was supposed to do.

Even though they weren't in the same year, Don had a big thing, like a HUGE thing, for Lily ever since the first time they both went out for quidditch spots. And so, Donovan had kind of just kept to his crush from a distance, not really dating other girls in hopes that something like this would happen.

When Lily said his name again, the boy lowered his book to look at her, shooting an inquisitive, "hmm?" to alert her to the fact that he was listening. As he heard the question, Donovan raised an eyebrow at her. "Really? A blanket?" The boy asked, "you're sure that's what you wanted?" Now reaching for the piece of cloth and standing up to bring it to the girl. "Because you probably could have asked almost anything and I'd have said yes." Teasing her lightly, as he figured it was something else, probably something important, but he just wasn't sure what.

Lily took a deep breath. ~Alright Lils time to just go for it, dont let the moment slip away.~ As the boy stood she herself stood and met him half way across the path. Lightly she placed her hand on Donovan's hand that was holding the blanket. This was it, there was no turning back. "Are you sure the answer would be yes?" she had placed herself close to the boy, looking up at him she smiled lightly, her face was a hint of blush. "Ever have the feeling that you want to tell someone that you like them but scared that they will turn you down." The girl kept her gaze on his. She could feel the beat of her heart quicken as she lifted her other hand to his cheek.

The moment was real, he was real, she was real, the sparks in the room were real. Everything for the moment was still, time had stopped moving it had seemed and for the time the he was the only thing she could see. "Donovan," The girls voice was quite as she took her gaze away from him, not out of any ill feelings but out of scared shyness. "I Like you more then a friend or a team mate." There were the words that she had only dreamed about saying to him. As she said them she felt her heart slow down as she waited for the boys reaction.

Donovan felt a soft tingling sensation on the skin where Lily's hand had made contact, putting the young man at a small amount of unease. There was a swirling feeling and his stomach, followed by what felt like someone twisting it into a knot, and then using it for a hacky-sack. And when the girl drew herself nearer, Greyback's face flushed a slight amount to match Lily's own blushing. Laughing hesitantly with some unease, she asked the question, and Donovan simply shrugged before saying, "I'm pretty certain, yeah." Almost reaching to rest his hand on her back so as to have something to do with the free appendage.

"Loads of times." The werewolf answered to Potter's second question, matching her gaze now as the most prominent thing that he could hear which wasn't Lil's voice was the thumping of his heart. Unsure of what to do next, he felt the girl's cool hand touch the now warming skin of his cheek, almost causing Donovan to withdraw from the girl's touch, but the fact that he'd been wanting to be so close to the girl for quite some time now kept him from doing so.

Knowing that physical contact was now pretty acceptable, Don lifted his hand up to the girl's lower back and rested it there, running it softly back and forth, generating some friction between his skin and the cloth, and thus creating additional warmth.

And when Lily made her statement, Donovan's face turned an even deeper red. Everything in the wizard's brain was telling him to tell her right back that he liked her as well. Struck dumb for words, Greyback released the blanket from his hand and let it fall to the floor. Softly gripping her chin between thumb and forefinger, Donovan lifted the girl's face up slightly, and pressed his lips to Lily's. Since words hadn't been an option, he simply allowed his actions to say what needed to be. Hoping that the hail mary of kissing would work, he simply allowed the kiss to linger as he waited for some reaction from the red-head.
