The weekend couldn't come soon enough. Even school-related activities and casual drawing couldn't keep Katrina's anticipation for that weekend down, and the hours seemed to drag. Kat barely slept the night before, though fortunately slept long enough to not be tired. This was all because Kat would be reunited with the love of her life, Mr. Cole Nott. She hadn't seen him since a little while after the funeral. True that was only a few weeks before, but when one loves someone else as much as Kat loved Cole, it was an eternity.

Kat went all out in how she looked. Kat usually didn't care about how she looked as long as she didn't look hideous. But for Cole, she wanted to look beautiful. She did her hair up and wore some dark red lipstick. She wore a green summer dress and low-heeled dress shoes. She awaited Cole outside the Three Broomsticks, the site of their first date. In her hands, she held a present for Cole. At the last Arrows game that Kat was able to watch, she drew a picture of him in action, and she felt it was some of her best work. She added color to it, and used the enchanted drawing materials so it looked as if Cole was really moving and helping the team score the big win. Kat couldn't wait to give it to him...

But most of all, Kat couldn't wait to hold Cole in her arms again.

Cole didn’t care about many material things. It was odd for him not to since he came from such a rich, well known family who had everything they wanted at their fingertips and could even hire servants to serve their servants if they so wished. But he didn’t. It was what was on the inside that counted. He never really cared for girls who wore very little and wore heavy layers of make-up. However, Katrina was so beautiful naturally; that, she looked amazing in whatever she wore. That was the first thought that popped into the Beaters head upon arriving at the tavern and seeing his girl waiting for him. The weather still had a warm undertone and the dress she was wearing was very fitting. He was simply dressed in tan slacks and a light blue button up top. “You look charming.” He said with a smirk. “Have you got a date or something? I hope I’m not keeping you.” He teased her, knowing that she had dressed up for him. However, he had fallen in love with her every day look and didn’t expect her to change anything just for him. “I’m so glad to see you.” He admitted and pulled her in for a hug and a kiss before leading her into the tavern.

Kat turned and gave her usual small smile when she saw Cole arrive. The smile was small, but her eyes told a story- how much she loved Cole and how much he meant to her every time she saw him. The smile became a smirk when Cole made the joke about her having another date.

"I really don't think the jerk is going to show up," she joked back. "But you look handsome enough, so I'll have to settle for you as a replacement." She then walked into his arms and a wave of joy hit her. What she had been waiting for was now happening. The kiss doubled that joy.

"Hey you," she said softly. "I've missed you." She then stole one more quick kiss before they went inside, her hand taking his.

"So... as you can see... the Three Broomsticks looks the same," she said, continuing the dry humor. "It hasn't changed at all in the many... weeks you've been away." She smiled at him again at that. "They did add something new to the dessert menu though, but I forgot what it was. I usually just get a piece of chocolate cake. Fish and chips and chocolate cake. Tell me I'm not the easiest dinner date ever." Kat then blinked. "Yeah... that didn't come out right."

Cole knew that the tavern wouldn't change all that much. It hadn't even changed much since his parents had been at Hogwarts.it never changed. The most that happened was the fact that it had changed ownership a few times and each new owner had brought a new item to the menu or a new drink to the bar. But the bar itself had stayed the same. "You're a very pleasant dinner date, my love." he insisted and got a table for the two of them and ordered two butter beers for them. He had an early practice in the morning and wasn't really willing to drink anything harder in the fear that he would end up going to practice with a hang over and would get a bad reputation with the rest of his teammates. He liked to conduct himself in a proper manner. He was a proper guy. He couldn't help how he was raised. "So how's Hogwarts? It's finally starting to feel sort of normal to be away from the castle." he admitted with a heavy heart. Hogwarts would always be his home. But not his life.

Kat smirked at Cole, glad he seemed cool with the line that came out wrong. Cole was cool about everything... and sweet... and perfect. At least Kat thought so.

"Hey, I try," she said when Cole said she was a pleasant dinner date. "You're quite on the pleasant side too. You give me something a lot better to look at than the bland decor." She then kissed Cole on the cheek.

The two sat down and Cole ordered the Butterbeers. Even without her telling him when they came in, Kat felt Cole pretty much knew her drink of choice by now. She shrugged as he asked about Hogwarts.

"Pretty much the usual, though not having the Headmistress there is weird," she said. "I never really spoke of Professor McGonagall, but we can definitely feel the difference with her gone. But other than that and some new classes and teachers, same old place. Oh, guess I should tell you that Thorn is a now a Beater on the Slytherin Team. I'm pretty sure he's going for Captain next year. Glad I won't be here when that happens. Besides, I don't think anyone can really fill the shoes of the guy who was the Captain last year." Kat smiled at Cole. "But maybe I'm just being bias there." The Butterbeers arrived and Kat ordered her food. She took a sip and looked at Cole. "So how's post-graduation life going?"

Cole liked hearing about her time at school, and he even smiled when she spoke of the new Slytherin beater who had replaced him. He didn’t mind the idea of being replaced. Slytherin had been and always would be his first team, however, that was in his past, it had to be. His glory days as the Slytherin captain were behind him and he was the new guy on a professional team now. He liked his life now a lot more, to be honest. He got to devote his entire day to playing Quidditch and he even got paid for doing exactly what he loved, even if his parents weren’t fond of him doing so. “I’m glad you’re having a good year at least. Getting into any trouble yet?” he asked her with a smirk on his face as he looked over the menu. He knew that she and Ali had some interesting times and normally ended in some sort of trouble if his sister wasn’t there to bail them out. Speaking of his sister, he missed her a lot and made a mental note to find a time to meet her. “I just get up in the morning and go to the gym, then we fly for a few hours and then we run drills.” He shrugged. “And on my days off I just struggle to keep the flat nice.” He wasn’t a messy person, but he didn’t spend a lot of time at home.

Kat smirked at Cole when he said he was glad she was having a good year and then asked if she had gotten into trouble.

"Meh, I'm too predictable to get into trouble," she said. "Too use to my usual routine I think. Plus I have to be careful because I don't want to get booted from my position as Art Club Captain. That's kind of my big thing here this year and all."

Kat listened as Cole spoke of his routine. Being his girlfriend, she of course freely imagined him working out in the gym without his shirt on. She felt no shame in that whatsoever. She then listened as he spoke of cleaning up his flat.

"Well I guess I can help you out with that after graduation pending our nifty little scheme of me moving in with you is still in effect," she said. Kat was going to be a bit sad moving out of Sofie's place after graduation, but she was confident enough that she was going to spend the rest of her life with Cole that it was decided she would move in with him when she turned eighteen.
