“So I’m Rose Weasley. Oh yes, another one of those Weasels. Can’t really help it though, we’re like rabbits and we’re everywhere! Ha! So I was born sixteen years ago on a very hot summer day. I’m the oldest in my imidiate family. There is myself and Hugo, my little brother. The parents I got blessed with are none other Ron and Hermione Weasley. My father is an Auror, of course, and my mother, well she is in some top high place in the Ministry. Honestly, I can’t remember for the life of me. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the Minister… Ministress?.... Oh well, I was born to them.
“My childhood was pretty brilliant. It wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t ordinary. I spent half my time in the muggle world and then the magical world. I got the best of both worlds hon. Anyways I lived in both worlds. My mother sent me to primary school. I basically stayed with my grandparents until school was over and then I would have to wait a little bit longer before mum would show up to get me. But when holidays came along, I was at the burrow. Did I tell you I’m a Weasley? Oh? I did? Okay Well I’ll repeat myself.
“I’m a Weasley and I have a large family. Of course my muggle grandparents are invited to these occasions, but holidays are the best. So with them, I had my magical taste in life. Now when it comes to magic, I was an early bloomer. The boys in primary school took my books and put them down the toilet. They were completely ruined. I was so upset. But when I went to my backpack, I found them in there, brand new practically. I told my mother and she was thrilled. But I think she was more thrilled of me being so worked up over my books, than me actually using magic.
“My life went on. And in July before my eleventh birthday, my barn owl showed up with a letter from Hogwarts. I finally got in and now was going to stay at the famous Hogwarts. I was just another Weasley, but the train ride was amazing even if I was warned about some kids being terrible. But honestly, I had no trouble. I’m a Granger afterall, I can handle a lot.
“The sorting was something else. My name was at the end with my cousins. We had to wait and wait and wait until finally Rose was blasted into my years. I think I squealed. I ran up to the hat and yanked it on before I was firmly planted on the bar stool. There was a lot of talking. The Hat was stuck between Ravenclaw Slytherin and Gryffindor. Finally he narrowed it down to Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. But in the end, I was another Weasley. It yelled Gryffindor and I got to join the gold and maroon.
“The years after that went on. I loved going to classes, I never missed a day and was always on time. I studied and got high marks, always, I had to prove I was just as smart as my mother. Or that’s what I would say instead of, I love to learn and study. That was more geeky than anything else. Fifth year came and I did the OWLS. I also was given the opportunity to be a prefect. My mum jumped for joy. She was excited. Then summer came along. I ended up being a bit rebellious, that and I wanted to see some of my childhood friends.
“I went into Muggle London, met up with my friends. They changed over the years and led me to their summer funs. I must admit I got drunk. First time and with the cheap stuff too. It was lots of laughs and fun. I woke up the next day at Kaya’s. She was one of my friends. My rib cage was swore. When I checked it, I was horrified! “I solemnly swear I al up to no good” in pretty letters was placed on my my rib cage to the left near my arm. Nobody knows it’s there, or that I’ve been drunk before. That’s all a secret. I also began learning nonverbal magic that year. Hopefully I get it perfected this year.
“Oh right. And my marks came back, practically all perfect and I was given the chance to continue to be a prefect. And now it’s my seventh year. Let’s see how that goes.”
