His slender fingers traveled the curves of her body beneath the luxurious sheets of their bed. Blaise still recalled the first time he had awoken with the he beside him, and day after day he still found himself amazed to feel her presence beside him. He pressed a trail of soft kisses from her shoulder up her neck "Mia carissima. Il mio amore. Il mio mondo. La mia anima."* he whispered softly between each kissed he placed upon her skin ending with a single tender kiss upon her jaw line. It was a rarity that the two of them found their days free from work, he often missed the years when they held jobs that seemed trivial compared to what they did today. But it was in those days that he found himself falling in love with Pansy.
Blaise had always had a deep respect for the women in his life. Haven been raised solely by his mother for the better part of his life, he knew no other way. But his mother while important to him, came second to his wife and children. The morning sun had barely started to peek through their window, and as much as Blaise wanted to stay wrapped in the sheets with his wife a day off from work was hardly a day with out work. He lingered longer than he intended before gently slipped out of bed doing his best not to disturb his wife anymore than he already had. There were letters he had to write and others he had to review, but this morning Blaise's mind was on his first born.
Things between himself and Darrius had changed over the years, the boy no longer looked up to him. In fact it seemed at times he would have nothing to do with him. Blaise had never found the task of fatherhood easy, it was more of a struggle day to day. Blaise knew what to expect of a mother and Pansy had more than passed his expectations. But a father...Blaise rubbed his fingers against his temples and looked at the time. It was too early to be plagued with such complexities. Darrius was a man now, he would make his own way, no longer did he need Blaise to guide him. Then again it'd been a number of years since the boy had come to him for any advice. To think, Blaise Zabini's pride was hurt.
He'd thought about summoning one of the elves to fetch him some breakfast, or maybe just some tea. But it seemed breakfast would wait. Leaning back in his leather chair Blaise smiled as he looked upon the sight that entered his study. "Forgive me, I did not intend to wake you." Of course he should have expected that she would not linger in the bed much longer than he had. It was a bit selfish of him but seeing her in the doorway of his office, well it cleared up some of the thoughts that clouded his mind.
*My dearest. My love. My world. My soul.

LOOK AT ME i would bet my life, like a bet my heart, that you were the one baby. i've never been so sure of anything before. it's driving my heart crazy. i can't hold out, i can't hold back now like i've done before. darling look at me, i've fallen like a fool for you. darling can't you see, i'd do anything you want me to. i tell myself, i'm in too deep then i fall a little farther, every time you look at me.----------------------------------------- A deep breath was drawn as soft, tender kisses could be felt upon her skin, waking her up slightly in the process. A soft, but tired smile, started to appear on her lips as her eyes stayed closed, enjoying the feeling of her husband's sweet caresses and kisses as well as the loving words that he spoke. It was early in the morning, but it wasn't unusual for the two of them to be up at such an hour. Especially for her husband. He was always up and doing something. Even if they had a day off, he was far from relaxed and willing to put all thoughts of work from his mind. Honestly, it was one of the things that they had in common. Pansy wasn't as much of a workaholic as her dear husband, but she did know the feeling of constantly thinking about it or having to do something. However, she did wish her beloved would have stayed longer in bed to spend some time with her.
Feeling his body move from hers, the brunette shifted slightly and finally let her eyes flutter open to watch him leave the room. Laying there for a moment, she smiled to herself as her eyes stared up at the ceiling. Pansy knew she was lucky, as she had such a wonderful life with a husband who loved her endlessly and three boys that she loved unconditionally. Even though she had wanted a daughter in her younger years, and found she could not have anymore children, she was happy with what she had. She wouldn't trade her family for the world and she would do anything for them and to keep them happy.
Letting out a sigh as she began to stretch, she sat up afterward and then slid out of bed. Walking to the window, she pulled back the curtains to let what sun was shining into their room, feeling it beat on her soft skin. After running her thin fingers through her long brown locks, she turned from the window and headed out of the room, slipping on her silk robe as she went. Her feet carried her to Blaise's office, where she knew he would be as most of his time was spent in that room.
Leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed, she watched her husband for a moment until he looked up and spoke to her. With a warm smile only those closest to her saw, she crossed the office and placed herself gently on his lap with one arm wrapping gracefully around his shoulders. "Quiet my love. There is nothing for me to forgive." She told him softly, leaning down to place a kiss on his lips. Her free hand caressing his cheek gently. Moving only inches away, her eyes met her husband's, but she was showing concern. "Now, tell me what's on your mind. I know that look you had before you noticed me here."
