Dahlia Monroe didn't cry. She never cried.
Dahlia was crying and in that moment, she hated herself for doing so. But how could she not when she had just lost someone so dear to her heart? Someone she had to kill the illusion of as a test before school started up, but then he was actually found dead not long after? Her father was gone and she never even got to say goodbye because he was still in America with her mother. It was then that she realized how angry she was by their choice to stay there. She understood at the time that her father was ill and it would be hard to make the trip, but didn't they think things through? Couldn't they see that it could be hard on her even when she put on a tough facade? They were her parents for Merlin's sake! They should have known! They should have...
But they didn't. They couldn't predict that one day he would slip away in his sleep due to the illness. They had the hope that he would get better, but better he did not become and now he was gone forever, never to speak to her again; to reassure her that things would be okay or to keep her on track with what her mission was there. It was hard to be nice to people she despised all the time. But she had to do it. She was made to be a spy for the Black Army; to find out whatever she could. Sometimes she wondered if she should be the one to do it. Sure, she loved that she was trusted with the task and they knew she could pull it off, but now? Could she keep it up now? She had just lost her father and for the first time in a long time, she was showing vulnerability. She was vulnerable.
Finding her way up to the Astronomy tower, her eyes downcast the whole time she pushed through the many students in the halls, she finally found herself alone. Alone to let go of everything she felt. To do something she never allowed herself to do. To cry. Fresh hot tears streamed rapidly from her eyes as she began to sob, lowering herself to sit on the floor of the tower. What was she going to do without her father? It was so unfair that he had to leave. Why did he have to leave her?

It had been a great day but a long day for the O'Connor boy. He had spent the day helping his siblings with their homework when they weren't hanging out with friends or in classes. It was a good way for them all to spend quality time together and not be around each other too much and get on one another's nerves. He would hate it if his siblings never wanted to speak to him or something for being around way too much, he didn't know he was just thinking outside the box trying to make sure certain things would never happen. He always said though you have to be prepared for anything, hence why he constantly studies. That is the only way you could ever be prepared for something big. There is one thing that Jermey hasn't been prepared for and that was the recent attacks. He couldn't understand why someone was doing all this. He also didn't want to think what would happen if something happened to the ones he cared about. He always wrote to his parents warning them about the Dark Lady. He had tried to prepared them as much as he could. He didn't want to leave them but as the months had passed and he kept talking to them his heart rose higher. He was glad to see that owl bringing the letters from his parents. Today was no exception either. He was in the Astronomy tower writing back to his parents. He loved being up here as it was relaxing. It made things more clear. He was writing when he heard some crying. He frowned and went to find the source of the crying. He was shocked to see Dahlia there crying. She never showed weakness. She was always hanging around Drew Reindhart, who was in their year but a slytherin unlike him and Dahlia. He wondered if he should talk to her but then mentally kicked himself. Mostly she never even knew he existed but it was the right thing to do to talk to her and try to make her feel better. He sat down beside her his letters still in his hand. Hey there. You okay he said. Words: It's short sorry OCC: It's finally done Outfit: CLICKTagged: DAHLIA ALYZABETH MONROE
