Books: Any and all, but especially cultural and language studies. She may, on occasion, be caught reading mystery novels if the day has been particularly long or stressful.
Swimming: As a child at home, Veronica spent a great deal of time in the family pool as a means of escape from her mother's endless lessons in etiquette. As a result, the activity came to represent a sort of therapy during her teenage years, and the habit continued into adulthood. Consequently, if she is ever found in the pool with a book, it is a fairly good indication that one should steer clear unless absolutely necessary.
Fashion-Design: As a result of her mother's rather stringent rules on dress, Veronica chose to learn clothing design as a means of rebellion and finding her own style. In recent months, she has also begun dabbling in shoe-making as a hobby.
Surprising Others: Because of her delicate appearance and proper breeding, people tend to assume Veronica herself is delicate and docile. Both assumptions, however, prove erroneous quickly under the right circumstances, and she tends to enjoy surprising those who mistake her observant nature for shyness.

Feeling Trapped: As a child, Veronica was placed in the center of the house in an (admittedly lovely) hidden room. What her parents viewed as protective, Veronica saw as being imprisoned, and as a result she becomes restless quickly when confined to closed spaces, especially those which lack windows.
Being Talked Down To: Nothing rouses Veronica's temper more quickly than being spoken to as though she is simple or a child. Her mother did this often during her social lessons, and it has been a point of contention ever since.
Animal Cruelty: You will be hexed, there is no more to it than that.

Inquisitive: Veronica enjoys learning, especially more challenging subjects which require her to think creatively.
Loyal: Most especially to her brother, but in general Veronica possesses a certain understanding of family loyalty as a whole, enough so that she was willing to go into her marriage as a matter of duty rather than love and make the best of the situation. This loyalty now also carries to her husband, and most especially to her son.
Temperamental: Though she is difficult to draw, Veronica can be exceptionally volatile under the right circumstances, especially if her family is threatened or self-respect is called into question. She has an extremely low tolerance for being mislead or manipulated.
Maternal: Veronica was surprised by how quickly and completely she found herself attached to her son. There is literally nothing she would not do to protect him.
Flexible: She possesses a rather useful ability to assimilate herself to the environment and circumstances at hand. Not to be confused with being easy-going. Veronica possesses an exceptional aptitude and intuition for assessing her surroundings and behaving accordingly, this does not, however, mean she always chooses to do so.
Innocent: Despite her best efforts, growing up the near-cloistered princess of her parents resulted in a certain guilelessness. Though she has done her best to rectify the situation through her pursuit of knowledge (and endless enlightening conversations with her brother) there is still much beyond her realm of realization as of yet.

HISTORY:
Her parents' first child and only daughter, Ronni enjoyed the careful attention she received as a child. It was only as she got older that she began to realize that the attentiveness she had perceived as adoration was more the protection of a very valuable asset. Both she and her brother understood from a relatively young age that their marriages would be contracted business arrangements, a way to strengthen family ties and increase wealth. Rather than fight this as many might have done, Ronni chose instead to cultivate as many skills as she could so as to be able to create an enjoyable life for herself regardless of who she was required to marry.
As a result of her sheltered childhood, Veronica began to live vicariously through stories and histories of places she feared she would never see. She learned several languages, both at her mother's insistence and as a result of her own studious nature. She continues to study these subjects, though she is only fluent as of yet in French, Arabic, and English. Sent to Beauxbatons as a means of further ingraining the more proper French style of behavior, Veronica missed her brother very much, and began to resent her parents strong-handed interference. Despite this influence, she and Cameron continued to be very close.
Her contract was announced a mere four days after her graduation. She and her husband have a mutual understanding of the marriage as a business agreement, and as such are able to live fairly well together. Omari is frequently absent due to frequent business trips, which Ronni has begun to suspect are more pleasurable than professional. As a result, she focuses on caring for her son, and on spending time with her brother who is also on the verge of his own marriage.
