Grumsby Pelt was pretty proud when he made the Ministry's Most Wanted List of Dark Wizards. With the twisted fame clouding his mind, he tended to forget that those who made that list got the attention of the Ministry's Hit-Wizards and Hit-Witches. If only he knew the Hit-Witch sent after him was Sang Hee Go, perhaps he would have watched his step a bit more.
Pelt had just collected a large amount of galleons for taking out an elderly man who had walked too close to Knockturn and saw something he was not meant to see. Whistling away, he walked through Knockturn, confident that he was on easy street for the time being. That feeling turned sour when he saw the figure of the Hit-Witch in the shadows, aiming her wand. He went for his own wand and uttered a curse, but without a word, Sang Hee Go deflected it. She did so a second and third time, then stepped into the lamp light just enough for Pelt to see her icy eyes. Like the coward he truly was, Pelt turned to flee. He wanted to nothing to do with a Hit-Witch, let alone one who knew Non-Verbal Magic. Calm and cool, Sang Lee followed him. Pelt would soon discover what it was like to be the prey as opposed to the predator.

When Sang Hee had a target she was pursuing, she damn near didn't stop for anyone or anything. In fact when Cain suddenly approached her, greeted her, and asked who they were chasing, she just kept on walking as great speed, her eyes fixed on the direction the Dark Wizard ran into and not even so much as glancing at Cain. This said something to a degree of her dedication to her job as Sang Hee, the ultimate anti-socialite, actually thought well of Cain. In school, the two had a common trait of avoiding the crowd and often found themselves around one another. Now she saw him as a respected peer in their field. But again at the moment, she would not allow Cain to detract her focus.
She did however speak to him after passing him.
"Grumsby Pelt... hired murderer, suspected of using both the Cruciatus and Killing Curses on twelve victims," she said, answering his question about who they were after. "If you want to assist me, then I suggest you keep up." And with that, she turned the corner and stopped. She scanned the entire area, looking for the slightest bit of movement.

When Cain wondered if others were after Pelt's head, Sang Hee didn't even turned her head toward him. She honestly didn't care who else was after him. She was assigned to stop him, and she would. That was it. End of story.
"If anyone else is out to catch him, then they will be disappointed," she said.
She then listened as Cain made a point. Cain's presence would throw Pelt off if the dark wizard only thought Sang Hee was after him. She turned to him this time and nodded at the idea before watching Cain transform into a raven and flying off. Sang Hee herself then apparated from one place to the next, quickly looking for Pelt's movement and then vanishing again to prevent a surprise attack if the villain was awaiting her. Finally, she saw Pelt's figure in the distance. He was talking to another figure, and judging by his movements, he was convincing the other to join him in attacking Sang Hee. Turning to the direction Cain flew in, she motioned that there were now two to deal with and where they were. She then quietly moved in.

Sang Hee knew she could rely on Cain. True most of the time, she had that "I don't need help" attitude, but when she knew how good someone else was, she couldn't help by appreciate the assistance. And again, she did like Cain. She had liked him since Hogwarts because of what kindred spirits they were then. She didn't show it as much as another friend of his might, but she did when it counted.
She watched as the other man took Pelt up on his offer. Sang Hee got a good look at the other fellow's face and recognized him. His name was Mallow, a dark wizard quite a few steps down on the totem pole from Pelt and not on the list Hit Wizard/Hit Witch targets. But if he got in Sang Hee's way of catching Pelt, rank and record would hardly matter.
Sang Hee now timed her next move. She would appear from a certain angle and strike before Pelt and Mallow had a chance to. And given the presence of Cain, they wouldn't have a second chance. Her wand firmly in her hand, she apparated once more and stood in the proper spit, focusing her mind on Carpe Retractum, and hitting Pelt with the Seize and Pull Charm, which bound him and pulled him down. She then watched as Mallow spun and aimed his wand, doing nothing as she had faith in her friend above to make his move.

For one who delighted in harming and killing others weaker than him, Pelt was a complete coward when it came to facing worthy foes. Without his wand, which was now in Sang Hee's possession, he began squealing like a stuck pig.
"Okay, I'll tell you anything you want to know, lady," he said. "Just please don't hurt me."
Sang Hee knelt down and looked at him with her cold eyes again.
"It's the Aurors' job to obtain information... not mine," she said. "I don't care about what you have to say. All I care about is that you are responsible for the torture and murder of twelve people- men, women, children." She then gripped him by the shirt. "Up." Pelt did so, quickly scrambling to his feet. He was still bound by the magically made rope from the spell. Keeping a firm grip on him, Sang Hee turned to see what Cain was doing with Mallow. Pelt thought this could work as a distraction and went from his wand. The next thing he knew, his hand was grabbed and his arm was twisted behind his back.
"I have no qualms about breaking this," she said to him. "Don't do that again."

Sang Hee almost smiled when Cain socked Pelt and broke his nose. She could hear the crack and it was a beautiful sound. Magic was useful, but the Hit Witch appreciated one who loved to get physical with the enemy. When Cain said that he wouldn't fix Pelt's nose next time, Sang Hee thought to herself that she personally wouldn't have fixed it this time, but she wouldn't ruin Cain's moment.
Sang Hee looked down at Mallow's still body and nodded in agreement with Cain.
"I agree," she said. "He's a small timer, not worth our trouble." Sang Hee was a bit stuck up when it came to dark magic users. She wanted to find the worst of the worst, the ones who tested her.
She then looked at Pelt as Cain asked where to dump him.
"We'll take him in," she said. "He's the Aurors' problem now, and hopefully then Azkaban's."
"I'll tell the courts how you two tried to brutalized me," snickered Pelt. "You'll both be stripped of your rank."
The threat was idle. Pelt tried to attack them first, going for his wand and all. And everyone knew Hit-Witches and Hit-Wizards were trained to be a tad more harsh than the Aurors. Pelt screwed himself over yet again when he attempted to shout "Accio Wand" so he could grab his wand with his free hand. Suddenly there was a snapping sound from Pet's arm and an unholy scream from his mouth.
"Tell them about that too," said Sang Hee.

Sang Hee continued to enjoy Cain's reactions to the situation. She began to wonder why she hadn't worked with him more often, then recalled how unlike Aurors, Hit-Wizards and Hit-Witches often worked alone... and that usually she preferred it that way anyhow. But Cain was different from the others, just as he was different from the other Ravenclaws at school.
"Perhaps," she said when Cain asked if they could do this again some time. She couldn't help but sneak in a small smile. She was equally happy when Pelt shut his mouth. It would be nice not to hear the whining and moaning on the way back to the department.
Then Cain asked her out for a drink? She turned and stared at him for a moment. Most wizards had given up asking her out for drinks some time ago. The more... persistent ones learned even quicker when they were socked in the chin or nose. But again, this was Cain, and Sang Hee felt it would be alright.
"Okay... but I don't like cider," she said. "But I'll drink something with you." Probably tea. A cup of tea actually sounded good then.
Later...
With Pelt turned in and an on-hand Healer working on his arm, Sang Hee stepped over to Cain.
"Thank you... for helping me," she said. It was hard for her to accept help at times, and just as hard to be grateful for it. But she trusted Cain and he had done a brilliant job. "Paperwork is done. I am ready to go with you now."

Sang Hee had to admire how Cain preferred his work over taking a day off. Not all in their line of work thought that way. And she could tell he meant it and wasn't trying to impress her. She knew the BS "trying to impress the pretty working girl" voice well by now, and it wasn't coming out of Cain's mouth.
"Yes, it's good to get the scum out of the Alleys," she said in agreement.
When Cain asked about going to the United States for the drink, Sang Hee stared at him. She had never been to the United States. She had basically stepped foot in two countries- England and her native South Korea. To suddenly go for the first time tonight... for a drink...
But she found she really wanted to go with Cain. She found how much she enjoyed being around Cain more and more.
"... Alright," she said. "I'll go with you." She then slowly placed her hand on his arm, which she found... very muscular.

When they arrived in the United States, Sang Hee seemed to not be too affected by the long apparation. She looked about and quickly saw many differences between this country and England. Her eyes didn't show it, but she was a bit astounded by such differences. She always assumed the United States would be a great deal like England in many respects.
She turned to Cain as he welcomed her to Locale Alley and raised an eyebrow as he said there were people there he didn't want to meet. That didn't sound good. She was glad that despite the confrontation with Pelt, she was still up for a fight.
"I hope they are not here, if you are I are here on a casual basis," she said.
She was then led to the Red Chaser and smiled a little as he opened the door for her like a gentleman. However, she wasn't overly amazed by the place. It was interesting, but Sang Hee wasn't amazed by a lot.
"It is certainly... different," she said. She then waited to follow Cain's lead given his familiarity with the place.

Sang Hee was a tad wide-eyed taking all this in... being in America, being in this Red Chaser that her friend knew so well, and this man Kaji meeting her and apparently able to make any beverage she wished and seemingly better than any she had ever had. She shook his hand and gave a nod of greeting. After sitting down, she decided to take Kaji up on Cain's boast about him. "I do enjoy a good cup of Sujeonggwa ," she said. "But if you can make it as well as my mother, I will be very surprised. In no tea shop have I found a tea maker that was her equal." Sang Hee looked as if he was not taking the challenge lightly either. She never took any challenge lightly, whether she or someone else made it. She then looked at Cain after ordering. "Since it is afternoon here, I would like to see more of this country if you are not too fatigued."@cainedge

Sang Hee watched as Cain spoke with his friend, remaining quiet out of good manners and because... well... she didn't talk all that much to begin with. She appreciated how the man was humble and quick to admit he would probably not match her mother. That would make her a little less picky in judging the tea.
She awaited Cain's answer about a tour of the area when the tea arrived. Kaji seemed anxious to see how she liked it, and Sang Hee would not be rude about it if the tea was not to her liking. She would be honest, but not rude...
And she didn't need to worry. She formed a small smile when she tasted it. It wasn't her mum's tea, but it was darn near close.
"Quite excellent," she said. "I approve of your skills as a tea maker. If it is not much trouble, could you bring a pot of it out? Cain should try this as well." She gave Cain a small smile as well, again noticing just how handsome the man was to go along with his likable personality...
Wait... was she really falling for Cain? The surprise was nothing against Cain. It was just that... Sang Hee had never fallen for anyone.

Sang Hee's usually serious eyes actually showed a bit of delight when Cain spoke of what he could show her in America.
"I have no preference," she said. "I will follow your lead, Cain. I am sure whatever you wish to show me here will be of great interest to me."
There was a silence there and Sang Hee found Cain eying her as well as if he were in thought. She didn't mind this at all. She tried to remain serious, but sneaked a smile now and then. She then nodded in thanks to Kaji as he brought the tea, and watched and waited for him to try it. She never met someone who shared her interest in Korean teas, so she hoped Cain of all people would like it. If anything, it would give the two something to talk about. She wasn't sure how many interest the two had outside their careers.

(I think this is a good stopping place. The tour thing and all that might be a bit overkill for one thread.)
