HISTORY:
Riley Bree O'Hara is the second born of the O'Hara family. Her sister Oona was born exactly two years and four days before Riley, to the minute. This was in incredibly odd occurrence and the O'Hara family took it as a sign that these girls would bring good to the world. Growing up, the two were almost inseparable. They played together, worked together, and for the majority of their childhood they slept in the same bed. The family was poor and didn't have a large house though it wasn't small by Dublin standards.
When Riley was three, her younger siblings Marcus and Emily were born, the twins. Again, the family took the rare birth of twins as a sign of their good fortune. But as time passed and even more children were born, Riley realized that it wasn't a good thing. She loved her siblings with every fiber of her being, but there wasn't enough food or money for them all. With seven kids and two adults to feed, there wasn't much meet on bones. When Riley was old enough to work, she and Oona went in to town to find jobs. Oona already acquired her magic and was using it to her advantage, something that Riley didn't like. She though her sister was taking advantage of the people without skills [muggles she later learned was the term] but Oona thought it was her right to use magic on others.
Soon all of the children were old enough to work and Oona and Riley were off at Hogwarts. Immediately, Oona took a turn for evil as she was sorted into Slytherin and Riley into Gryffindor. The two never talked, they never made contact, and they rarely even saw each other as sisters anymore. Oona was mean spirited, broken by the family she left behind while Riley was strengthened by the thought of helping them.
Oona married right out of school and didn't invite the family to her wedding. She severed all ties with the family as soon as she could and Riley is the only person she kept in contact with. Despite the fact Riley has no desire to make nice with Oona, it seems she is forced to socialize with the closed mind sister she once looked up to.
Two years later and Riley was also out on her own, proceeding to higher education so that she could further provide for the family she missed. By the time she was out, her youngest brother was 6 years old and her mother was at home full time caring for him and the others who weren't yet at school (which was only Audrey and Asher at the time).
University went by fast and Riley had found her passion. Getting an open teaching position at Hogwarts, it seemed her life was truly looking up (not that it was ever dark or dreary). She was happy, she had forgotten and forgiven all people who had wronged her and she was ready to live in the moment.

PERSONALITY:
- HONEST&LOYAL. Riley is an incredibly honest person. She won't hide her opinion of you, she won't accept unwarranted critizism, and she will get the truth out of anyone she meets one way or another. But on that same not, she won't force you to do things you don't want to do. She is a loyal friend and will stick by your side through thick and thin as long as you return the favor.
- RECKLESS&IRRATIONAL. What better way to describe her than this? She will go out on a whim for a laugh, to have fun. Like stated above, she won't likely take no for an answer unless you have a good reason. 'It's dangerous' has never been good enough for her. Unless heights are involved, then she won't even consider doing it. Where some people might put a lot of planning into things, Riley will do whatever pops into her mind the minute she can.
- A KID AT HEART. One would think that after 25 years of life, Riley would have her impulses and her childish whims under control. But now. You're just as likely to find this girl playing barbies with a first year as you are to find her punishing a Slytherin! She'll do almost anything for a laugh or to have fun, amuse others even.
- YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE. In true #YOLO fashion, Riley believes that you have to live in the moment. She doesn't let her past shape her future, and she honestly hasn't looked towards her life in 10 years... ever. She's only living for now which contributes to her reckless nature. If you're her friend, you better be able to keep up!
- ATTACHED. Despite the fact she loves a good adventure, Riley wants to find a place to settle down. She loves kids and she loves helping others. In addition, she absolutely loves her job and working with plants. She has a
bit ofmajor green thumb so as long as she can still have a garden, she'll always be happy!
- TOMBOY&MOTIVATED. Though she is certainly a girl, Riley has been raised to fight for herself. She grew up on a farm, her family was poor, and she had to work to support them. Her father worked as a barber and that didn't gather much funds. So for the earlier part of her life, Riley worked along side her other siblings to raise money. This made her strong in body and heart, and it made her a bit of a tomboy despite having so many sisters.
