Athena sighed in relief as she walked into the book shop, she was glad she made it one peace. She was unsure why london felt as it needed rain at the very moment, the snow had just begun to stick to the ground before it started to rain. She left her coat and umbrella at the door and took a deep breath enjoying the scent of parchement and ink. She always wished they would add a cafe to the book store instead of just cosy chairs to sit in. She recalled her at younger age sitting in the chairs her feet barely touching the ground as she had a book bigger than her lap settled against her cross legs.
Walking past the aisle of book, waiting for the right book to catch her eye she ran her hand along the titles. She didn't want her usual quidditch book or some sappy poorly written romance novel. She felt like the real thing was better than the books and wishing only she ran before she could feel the real thing. She was no saint by any standards but she wasn't one to express herself or her feelings easily. Skipping over the latest novel she found herself in the section of books meant for tourist. She flound some books on Japan, Korea, london, and even Ireland. None of them really caught her eye, except out the corner of her eye she could see a guy checking out the book selection also.
She waited until he was looking at book before she turned her to look at him. He was easy on the eyes...Very good looking and she quickly turned her head when she thought he was about to turn to walk away. When he did she grabbed the nearest book and pretended to read it, the only problem was it was in Gaelic and she didn't know anything it was saying. She pretended to be completely absorb in her book hoping that the man hadnt caught her staring, that would be incredibly embarrassing.
