HISTORY: Saffira is the youngest daughter of the Mynk family. Born to Morganna and Cillian Mynk and youngest sister of Diamante, Esmeralda and Rubious. The family travelled around a lot, basically nomads but who happened to live in beautiful manor type houses and even luxurious penthouses throughout Europe, never staying in one place for more than a few years. Morgana's seer gift had brought many a witch and wizard around to utilize her gift so they could afford it, though she did not exploit the people who hoped to make use of her gift.
Though all of this was before Saffira was born as her sister Esmeralda expressed interest in attending Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, and the family moved to London so she could. It was just a year or 2 later when Saffira was born. Saffira looked up to her big sister and even chose to go to Hogwarts and asked the sorting hat to put her in Ravenclaw, the house big sister had been a part of.
While at the school though, she got her first glimpse at Quidditch and trained and worked hard to join the team. Saffira ended up becoming a bit obsessed with the sport and eventually went on to become a professional Quidditch player. Her sister ended up teaching Divination while she was still in Hogwarts as Saffira was a sort of change of life baby to her parents and was actually around 12 years younger than Esmeralda. However, she did not inherit her mother's seer gift so while she looked up to her sister and actually enjoyed her class, she ended up keeping her focus on playing Quidditch instead.
Also at school she had developed a crush early on a Gryffindor Quidditch player named Ronny who she would go on to play matches against in pro-quidditch. Due to her brand of shyness she started to call Ronny her rival and when she runs into him anywhere will playfully fight with him about Quidditch.
