 NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM FORTY-FOUR PUREBLOOD HERBOLOGIST THIRTEEN INCH, CHERRY WOOD, UNICORN HAIR CORE 1980-1990 (Early Life) Neville Longbottom was born to Franklin and Alice Longbottom on July 30th, 1980. Franklin and Alice, Pureblood Aurors and enemies of Voldemort, are tortured into madness when the Lestranges and Barty Crouch Jr. used the Cruciatus Curse on them. Neville is sent to live with his grandmother, Augusta Longbottom. Neville was nearly declared a Squib due to being a late bloomer when it came to his magical abilities. 1991-1998 (Hogwarts) In his First Year, Neville is sorted into Gryffindor, running across the Great Hall when the shouting Sorting Hat frightened him. His First Year consisted of a series of mishaps- melting Sheamus Finnigan's cauldron, falling off his broom during a Flying Lesson, and falling to Draco's Leg-Locker Curse. However, Neville also showed his courage as well. He stood up to Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle when the trio taunted Gryffindor during a Quidditch Match, and also stood up to his own friends Harry, Hermione, and Ron when they went to seek the Philosopher's Stone, though Hermione reluctantly hit him with a Full Body Binding Curse for doing so. His Second Year, Neville began to get a knack for Herbology, despite fainting on the first day of class when his earmuffs were not quite on right when the young Mandrakes screamed. Further mishaps that year including a nasty encounter with the Cornish Pixies, who lifted him by the ears in DADA Class and sent him to the ceiling. His Third Year, Neville revealed his biggest fear- Professor Severus Snape- during a DADA Lesson where Professor Lupin had them face Boggarts. By his Fourth Year, Neville's skills in Herbology had greatly enhanced. However, with this more fortunate turn of events came the unfortunate treatment from Barty Crouch Jr., who was disguised as Professor Moody. Neville took Ginny Weasley to the Yule Ball that year. His Fifth Year, Neville was one of those who supported Harry when he said that Voldemort had returned. He became part of Dumbledore's Army. Discovering those who tortured his parents had escaped from Azkaban, he trained all the harder under Harry's teachings. Neville fought with Harry, Hermione, Ron, and others in the battle against the Deatheaters in the Hall of Prophecies at the Ministry. Neville's wand, which he inherited from his father, was destroyed in the battle, though he acquired a new one later. His Sixth Year, Neville fought in the Battle as the Astronomy Tower, being injured when Draco used a darkness powder on him and Harry/Hermione/Ron. His Seventh Year, Neville and others did their best to aid the students who were being tortured by the Deatheaters who then taught at Hogwarts thanks to Voldemort's Ministry Takeover and Snape being the new Headmaster of the school. But he truly proved his worth when he stood up to Voldemort himself in the Battle of Hogwarts, earning him the aid of the Sword of Godrick Gryffindor. He used the sword to kill the final Horcrux, Voldemort's snake Nagini. 1999 And On (Adult Life) Neville worked as an Auror for a short while, and even did a stint as Professor of Herbology at Hogwarts. However, he has retired from both positions, and now works as a Professional Herbologist, performing research with witches and other wizards also in the field. He married Hannah Abbott and lives with her at Leaky Cauldron, where she is the Landlady. The couple had two children- Jasper and Helena. Neville is a part of the Order of the Phoenix now, and in a new dark time, he is once again ready to prove that a book cannot be judged by it's cover, and that even now, he still possesses the courage that had once made him a true Gryffindor. hey guys, my name is L.J.! and I am rocking it at In My 30's years old, role-playing for roughly 3 years - so i'm pretty chill with anything. i'm in the Eastern time zone, and hail from The United States so how about that! currently my character looks just like BILLY BOYD or so i am told!
