HISTORY:
Twenty-six years ago, right smack-dab in the middle of a war, Theodore Remus Lupin came into the world. Nymphadora and Remus Lupin, Teddy's parents, were members of The Order of the Phoenix, who died trying to make the world a better place for their son and many other children yet to be born. The couple was found together, hands reaching for each others, shortly after the Battle of Hogwarts where Ted's Godfather, Harry Potter, defeated Lord Voldemort.
Ted grew up without knowing his parents, though his grandmother, Andromeda Tonks, did all she could to share the story of how his parents lived. Even though he is well aware his parents died for an important cause, it didn't change the fact they weren't around to raise him.
From the moment of his birth, Ted displayed a gift, which was clearly passed on to him by his mother. The gift of the Metamorphmagi, very rare indeed, pronounced itself immediately by turning baby Teddy's hair to a rainbow of colours. It wouldn't be known for some time, though, if he also inherited another gift, this one more...dangerous. The curse of the Werewolf. Fortunately, when Ted was of the age to finally prove his magical prowess, it became plain that he would suffer nothing more than the feeling to escape his seemingly tight and itchy skin, slight mood and diet change, and thicker hair once a month. Merlin, does he loathe "that time of the month"
