EXCERPT FROM AN INTERVIEW WITH THE DAILY PROPHET
I WAS SURPRISED WHEN YOU AGREED TO THIS INTERVIEW MS. CHRISTINSEN! WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO TALK?
"Well, it's not like I can avoid the subject of myself forever. You've proven your dedication to the truth of the world so I can't see any harm in talking. Though do know this is a privilege that I can easily take away. Much like your pitiful life. So be wary as to what you publish."
I'VE NO DOUBT THERE IS HONESTY IN YOUR WORDS! BUT MOVING ON TO THE POINT, WHAT DO YOU FIND THE TRUTH TO BE, EXACTLY?
"Are you daft? Have you not been following my actions and opinions since I left Hogwarts, since my sentencing? The world should be rid of muggles and filthy blood. I've merely been working towards the goal of a world made free of insolence and trash."
SPEAKING OF HOGWARTS, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SINCE YOU GRADUATED?
"I technically didn't complete my seventh year at Hogwarts. I was arrested for the murder of a young student though the charges were later dropped. I wasn't allowed to return to complete the year though I wasn't upset. There was nothing more for me there, nothing else I could learn or gain. I don't do anything unless there is a reward for me or unless I want to and it was obvious that Hogwarts was quickly going to the dogs. Since then, I've been rather busy as you and the rest of the wizarding world know."
WOULD YOU CARE TO GIVE AN EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT ON YOUR FRIEND'S RECENT MURDER TRIAL? IT SEEMS THE FILES HAVE BEEN LOCKED FROM THE PRESS.
"Well of course the files have been locked! The Ministry seems to think they can do anything and get away with it. Of course, it's worked in the past. Now, you likely know he was convicted for the murders and sentenced to 25 years in Azkaban before the final decision on life or death. Four years have passed and he's still the same sane person. He was doing the right thing, killing those people."
SO YOU'RE SAYING HE IS GUILTY?
"I can't say for sure, but he deserves to be in prison. He killed 13 muggles every day for 13 days and on the final day slaughtered 40 children of impure blood. I suppose you could say he was doing his duty to the world, clearing the future of imperfections."
I-I SEE. YOU SEEM TO KNOW A LOT ABOUT THE CRIME...
"Well I do! But you see, the sentence was light to begin with because possibly the Ministry agrees with our stance, but what's left of it has... gone down the drain with the passive ways of old. You seem shaken, is there a problem?"
NO! NONE AT ALL MY LADY!
"As I thought."
STATEMENTS FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY ABOUT ARIA
"Is Aria insane? Of course not. She is doing the right thing, she is ridding the world of muggles and blood traitors. I'm proud of my daughter's determination and fierce demeanor." -Alana Christinsen, Mother
"Well, she's frightening to say the least. You wouldn't want to get on her bad side because... She's a murderer! And don't be fooled by what the Ministry says, that man wasn't the culprit it was her, I'm sure of it. She's intelligent, she's cunning, and she can get away with it again. She's a force to be reckoned with and she begging for more blood to be spilled!" -Anonymus
"She killed my son. She KILLED my son. He was nine years old! He was a pureblood, he wasn't a muggle! He was the smartest, kindest young boy I've ever known and now he's gone because she saw some imperfection in him! She felt no emotion when she broke into the house and murdered him in his bed. She didn't even blink. I know it wasn't that rotten man, though I'm sure he's done something to wind up in prison himself." -Aurora Delum, victim's mother
"In school she walked around like she owned the place. And in all honesty she likely did! She had the boys wrapped around her finger, she had the teachers giving her grades she didn't deserve; all the girls either wanted her dead or they wanted to be her. But she wasn't the dark person she is now. No, that changed in her seventh year before she killed a student. Before that she had never been capable of killing even a bug! She was a Slytherin though, she knew her way around obstacles and she would cut down anyone in her way. But she wasn't a murderer... I don't know what changed in her." -Ashton Mellville, former friend
"Pure evil. That's the only words for her. She deserves a fate worse than death. That the dementors haven't already taken her soul is a frightening notion to me. The fact that she's free... well that just means I can kill her myself." -Nelson Caldridge, victim's husband
"it seems the majority of the population believes that Aria Christinsen was the true culprit in the mass murder four years ago, but the Ministry has cleared her name. She will return to her post at Hogwarts and will likely stay under the radar for a little while."
