Isobel Ingraham Nineteen Half-blood Exotic plant Discovery Thirteen inches, Fairy wing, Cypress BIRTHDAY: Nineteen (june 5th) PATRONUS: Scorpion ABILITIES: Seer, Wandless magic "The soul of the newly born baby is marked for life by the pattern of the stars at the moment it comes into the world, unconsciously remembers it, and remains sensitive to the return of configurations of a similar kind. Johannes Kepler" The stars have been leading generation after generation of explorers into new parts of the world for...well generations. It's no surprise that once again the stars lended their guidance once more, but this time to five year old girl with more aspirations than time, with more questions than answers and more places to be than energy. Isobel was always a gypsy child, seduced by stories of faraway lands, books in mathematical equations and horoscopes.. She would tell her twin brother stories of Gemini, their star and then they would fall asleep under the stars protected by the shining stars and spinning planets. Her childhood spelled out like a constellation, each moment connected by tiny invisible lines to help you see the bigger picture. Isobel the Gypsy wanderer and Ian the star tracker, the gemini twins with so much life they could outlive a star but things were never what they seemed. The stars may guide a heroine, may take them where they need to be, but the road can be fraught with danger and tribulations. Her mother a Gypsy in spirit and upbringing and her father a Half-blooded wizard with a big heart that never stopped loving, she never quite fit in with either world. Her father told her stories of Hogwarts, the four houses that used to be united until things as trivial as blood causes war to rage and spread like a wild fire. Her mother told her stories of traveling the world, grass as tall as her and rallies for equality. She proclaimed herself a freedom fighter, but what freedoms was she fighting for? She grew tall and wild like weeds in an African Savannah, her brother grew in, both were book smart and street smart but her brother had heart that never stopped loving and well she couldn't see past the devastation a monster could leave enough to be forgiving. In time, however she would learn that some monster were just scared little boys and girls that new nothing but what they were taught, soon she would fall in love, it wss written in the stars. " I will look on the stars and look on thee, and read the page of thy destiny. " ~ Letitia Elizabeth Landon. Soon summers passed and the stars seemed to hold something exciting for the girl whose dreams were always too big to fit in the space between her pillow and her head. Both she and her brother would be starting Hogwarts, they would leave their mothers world to be a part of their fathers. Even if her brother didn't she it that way, Isobel knew, she always knew. They would be forced to choose between their heritage, neither world accepting of them due to their differences but this era of time was supposed to be better for them, how wrong or right it was, could only be told once the story was over. She held brothers hands tight, they were like Gemini playing tricks on those close enough to feel the heart of their supernova. However fate would split them up, Isobel knew they would walk different paths, she had a gypsy soul whose rath raged like the winds of a hurricane and he was quiet and forgiving. Fate wouldn't be able to deal her hand if Isobel clung to Ian like a life line. It started with a stare, a small smile in reassure and Phineas or rather Ajax had captured her attention. He was like a massive black hole and she was determined to be the first explorer to see what was at the center. The expansion of her solar system began with her being placed in Ravenclaw while her brother Hufflepuff, it had always been just them too. Now she had to map out parts of a new solar systems, new constellation without her star tracker, until he promised her he'd always be there to help her. Her brother was always good at helping her see the silver lining in the clouds, Isobel had tunnel vision, she could only see past the clouds into space and the twinkling of the stars on clear nights. When she was twelve her visions started, a small part of her fathers history embedded in her, she finally understood her connections to the stars. They were her favorite method of telling the future. She study him over tea dregs, her "inner eye" laughing at his attempt to read her future. She could tell he only gave a half hearted try, to things she'd been obsessed with all her life. They bonded over astronomy, there was nothing romantic about gazing up at the stars at midnight, but she told him captivating stories of faraway places, constellations and grass as tall as she. " Astrology is one of the earliest attempts made by man to find the order hidden behind or within the confusing and apparent chaos that exists in the world." - Karen Hamaker-Zondag Soon, they were in love and through all her eccentric tendency and superstitions he managed to stay. Her barefoot walks through the grass and running through fields in nothing but one of his buttons up. The odds were seemingly in their favor. However, nothing is set in stone, the universe was constantly moving and stars and moon rarely ever aligned, they seemed to disagree about Isobel's happiness. Something bad was coming, in September she found she was pregnant and five months later she feels a cold drift around her fiance. The stars may lead her to where she needs to be, but for the first time ever, she might have made a wrong turn. hey guys, my name is Marie! and I am rocking it at 17 years old, role-playing for roughly Two years - so i'm pretty chill with anything. i'm in the Eastern time zone, and hail from America so how about that! currently my character looks just like Kristen Prout or so i am told!
