Remus looked around as he walked to the place where he was going to meet someone that he had been wanting to for a long time. He had dressed up a bit but he didn't try to find his tattoos to much. you'd still be able to see them even if he wanted to.He had them all the way down to his hands and all the way up his neck. He didn't have many tattoos on his hands and neck but they were there. He got a bit wrapped up in his thoughts as he walked. He wondered what he was like. He still felt angry towards him. He wondered so many things that he wasn't going to let himself wonder because some of those always ended up making his fist clench, his teeth grit and a vein pop out of his forehead. He decided a little while after his aunt and uncle set this meeting up as surprise for him, that he wasn't going to into this meeting angry. He wasn't going into it happy either. He was simply calm.
since he was bit wrapped up in his thoughts, He hadn't really noticed when he got there. He had brought his sketch book with him so , he could past the time until the guy got there. He pulled up his sleeve and looked at his watch and saw that he was quite a bit eariler than he orginally thought he would be. This surprised him. ' I guess i walk faster when I'm in thought' He thought to himself.
He looked around and sat down in the little cafe at a corner window. He open his sketchbook and laid it on the table. He pulled a penicl out from a inside pocket of his coat and began to draw.

David Rayne was not one for being late, but the Muggle bus that he had taken in order to get to the cafe had suffered numerous delays including, dense traffic, a minor breakdown, and slow Muggle individuals crossing various streets. Upon exiting the Muggle bus, David leaned his cane on a building wall, took a deep breath, straightened his collars, and brushed off any dust or dirt he could find on his suit before picking the cane up again. There was a time when he had wondered if Marie was pregnant with his child and another time when he wondered if she had had a child by him after she had moved away. Those times had been roughly 18 and 16 years ago, and now - after a great deal of time not thinking about the subject at all - David was finally going to meet his son, a boy he had never entirely been sure of existing until recently. As he walked toward the cafe in which they were to meet, he tried to envision a boy of intelligence and upright manner with good prospects on life and a solid vision set on a promising career. He chuckled wryly to himself as he dreamed of everything he would generally expect a son of his to be and have become by this point in life. David knew that Marie would have known how best to raise the boy and how to keep him on good paths. As he approached the door of the small cafe, David sighed out of a moment of sadness, realizing that the world had indeed grown a little darker since the death of his once beloved Marie. But he needn't bring that up now. He had a very important meeting to attend to, and he was quite eager to meet the young man who was, indeed, his own son. David opened the door and scanned the dining area for someone that looked somehow close to himself or Marie. Not seeing anyone that fit his mental description, David looked at his watch, noting that he was a few minutes late. Had he been too late? Had the boy gotten nervous? Was Remus later than he was? He didn't know exactly what to think so he looked about the place for someone that might be roughly Remus's age. Spotting one such young man of lesser-so-upright appearance sitting at the corner window table, David walked over thinking that this young man might have noticed if Remus had come and gone or had yet to arrive. David noticed that the boy was drawing something on a sketch pad of sorts, but politely tapped the young man on the shoulder and said, " Excuse me, young man, but have you seen a boy of about your age come here in the past few minutes? His name is Remus and I am supposed to be meeting him here at this cafe." REMUS DEREK LANCASTER

Remus hadn't been paying the closest attention to the people, who came into the cafe. He was working hard on the sketch, that he had started when he sat down. He had heard someone walking near by him but he had assumed that they were going to a empty table close by or something like that.
He felt someone tap him on the shoulder. He stopped working on his sketch and turned to see who had tapped him on the shoulder and was now talking to him. He nodded as he listened and then replied to the man with" i do know of him, I'd be surprised if i didn't since i am indeed him." he chuckled at the last part. He held out his hand for him to shake.
He wondered what his reaction was going to be.He doubted that he imagined Remus to be covered in tattoos like be was.

' Could that be Remus??' David thought in near exasperation. ' No... it can't be... This must be a coincidence. My son must be running a little late." "I think that there is a misunderstanding, young sir." David said to the boy. The tone in the boy's voice.... the tattoos pouring out of his sleeves and collar... This just couldn't be his son! Surely Marie would have raised him better than that! Trying his best not to succumb to a fit of anger and confusion, David continued speaking as politely as he could. "I'm looking for a Remus Lancaster. My name is David." Catching a glimpse of the boy's eyes, David couldn't help but see the eyes of the only woman he had ever truly loved. He didn't want to believe it.... he couldn't ... ' How is this happening? Why me? Oh, Marie....' REMUS DEREK LANCASTER

Remus nodded and said"there is not a misunderstanding, Mr Rayne, i am Remus Lancaster" He put his hand down on the table after David didn't take it to shake. He looked at him and said" Not what you weren't expecting, huh?" He gestured for David to sit down in the seat opposite him if he wanted to.He crossed his arms and leaned back in the chair.
He wondered what was going though his fathers mind at the moment. He knew what people thought when they first saw him and his many many tattoos.Part of him had hoped that His father wouldn't be the same way. He forced himself to remain as calm as humanly possible. His mother did the same thing. She looked calm on the outside but was actually seething on the inside.
He didn't say anything else as he sat there looking at the man,who was his father.

That horrible tone... smug... as if to keep him on the end of a string to be toyed with! David couldn't stand for it. He felt his blood boil, though remembered Marie and decided that it would be best not to loose his head in a moment such as this. Straightening his jacket once more, David sat down, removed his gloves, and made a fast gesture to a nearby waitress. He looked at the young man in front of him and spoke honestly. "No. Entirely not what I expected. Though you would be good to realize that Marie would have deserved better from you." He paused and gave the boy another glance over before speaking again. "Now. You had better have a particularly good reason for your attitude and those... markings... all over your skin. I'm sure that there is an end to this that benefits us all." David smiled cynically at Remus, silently grumbling his disapproval. A moment later, the waitress brought two steaming cups of tea and a small plate of scones to the table. David took one of the tea cups and took a sip, not pausing to add sugar. He knew that this was going to be a long meeting. REMUS DEREK LANCASTER
