Charlotte Olivia Wouters sixteen pureblood sixth year slytherin 10", unicorn hair, apple wood BIRTHDAY: Sixteen / / July 31st PATRONUS: German Shepard ABILITIES: N/A the living ring becomes a boxing ring... Charles and Ivy had only been married for four years when it started. Looking back, they have no idea what he was mad about. It was something stupid, but for someone reason it set him off enough to slap her. He apologized over and over and promised to never do it again. She forgave him, but that didn't remove the shining hand print on her cheek. she cries to me, "go back to bed"... It didn't happen again until after Charlotte was born. She was only four years old when she heard her mommy crying from the bedroom. She grabbed her teddy and waddled down the hall, peeking into her mother's room. "Mommy," she said, her innocent eyes wide and sad. "Why are you crying, Mommy?" "Go back to bed," Ivy replies to her daughter, "Mommy is okay." never before have i seen it this bad... At seven years old Carlotte realizes it isn't normal for her daddy to hit Mommy. They're in the kitchen, at least seven feet apart, and screaming at each other. He steps forward and wraps a hand around Mommy's throat. "Daddy," Lottie cries out. "Go to bed," he hisses at his daughter, his hand tightening around his wife's throat. "Please Daddy!" His hand releases Ivy, and she falls to the floor while clutching at her neck and gasping for air. "Go to bed. Now." Lottie runs to her bedroom and sobs in her bed all alone. just tell the nurse you slipped and fell... "Don't you dare tell her the truth," he growls. Ivy nods to her husband. The nurse leads Ivy to a room and sits her down. She asks what happened, and doesn't seem fully convinced that she tripped over the dog. But Ivy insists that nothing else happened, she just tripped... for the third time this week. father's a name you haven't earned yet... Charlotte is only ten years old when she realizes that Charles is nothing like a father is supposed to be. She no longer considers him a father and has started calling him by his first name, even to his face. He is no father to her. she grabs the gun, she's had enough... Charlotte had hoped that, as a reward for her twelfth birthday, her father would be kind and gentle. After all, you only turn that magical age once. She should have known better. She cowers in her bedroom and listens to her parents fight. "Put down your wand, Charles." "Charles, please. No." "Charles! No, lower your wa-" she's cut off by her own screams. Ivy writhes on the ground as Charles towers above her, his wand pointed down at her. Lottie tries to block out the screams, but she can't. She slips out of her room, her soft footsteps muffled by her mother's screams. Her hand is holding the wand her mother and father took her to buy just a week ago. She raises it with shaky hands and manages to make sparks fly out of the tip. Her father shouts out in pain, grabbing the wound in his thigh tightly. His wand clatters to the ground and Ivy stays curled in the fetal position, shaking in fear. Charles turns and his eyes meet Lottie's. "You little bitch," he hisses. His eyes start to search for his wand, but Ivy finds it first. She scoots away from him, gripping the wand tightly. "Stay away, Charles!" She yells. "I'll- I'll curse you!" Charles starts to move towards her. Ivy raises the wand at him, "Stop right there, Charles. I will not-" Charles moves closer to her, "Petrificus totalus" His body freezes, stiffens, and then hits the floor. Ivy turns to her daughter, "Go to your room, Charlotte. Do not come out until I say so." Not long later, three aurors apparate into the small home. Charlotte and her mother are scheduled with a court date, and until then Charles will be held in Azkaban. Of course, his trial doesn't go well for him. The use of the cruciatus curse on another witch or wizard is forbidden. He is sentenced to life in Azkaban for the abuse of his wife and the numerous times he has used the curse on her. Never Again "Never again will he hurt you or your mother," everyone assures her, but that doesn't make teenage Lottie any calmer about the situation. Her anger issues started a couple weeks after her father went to Azkaban. She didn't understand why she was so upset, she just was. At age fifteen Charlotte Wouters finally realized the problem with her father being locked up. He would slowly go crazy in that place, and then he would die. Charlotte would never be able to make him feel the same pain she and her mother felt. She wanted him to feel the pain, especially her mother's pain. Her mother may have healed magnificently and moved on, but Lottie hasn't. She is angry and vengeful. hey guys, my name is Moe! and I am rocking it at 14 years old, role-playing for roughly 2.5 years - so i'm pretty chill with anything. i'm in the UTC time zone, and hail from United States so how about that! currently my character looks just like Taissa Farmiga, or so i am told!
