A father that worked and a mother that mainly stayed home or worked from home. A son and a daughter a little over a year later. The family values were rather normal. The McLaggens were about accepting people for who they were, they did not have prejudice against any type of people unless their personalities were just awful. One of the main differences about this family was the competitive drive, mainly from Mr. McLaggen. During Lawson's childhood he was constantly in competition with his father whether it be from finishing dinner first or besting each other at quidditch. Lawson at first wanted nothing more than to please his father and it gave him motivation to strive to become better. Lawson began doing a lot of things at an early age as a child like walking, talking, potty training, riding a broom, etc. His sister developed rather quickly as well. Lawson and his sister were always in some type of rivalry for their parents attention. Their mother did not always approve of these actions however she would not speak up against their father on this matter. It was a losing battle. When the time came to go to Hogwarts, Lawson was sorted into Ravenclaw and instantly strove to be the best student in his house. Of course he could not compete with students above him, but that didn't prevent him from attempting spells and such higher than his skill level. This landed Lawson in the hospital wing many of times through out his school years. From explosions and broken bones, he had learned how to fix almost any ailment from the amount of time he spent there. Lawson always kept up with his school work and was one of the top students, if not the top in some areas for no one could be perfect at every subject. With Lawson spending a significant amount of time with the nurses at Hogwarts he often helped when he could. He learned a lot and found out he had a knack for such a career. It was nice for Lawson to help others rather than focus on himself and his achievements. So in his last few years at school he was not as competitive which allowed for his relationship with his sister to become stronger as well. Lawson graduated school and has earned himself a job as a nurse at St. Mungo's under the creature inflicted department. Although he is working on goals in his career, his personal life is not going as smoothly. He is not being truthful about who he is or at least about his sexuality. This is also beginning to affect the spells his wand will perform because the type of wand he has does not work properly if the person is being deceitful to themselves. So now, he has to deal with this problem and come to terms with it to be able to get his magic back under control. hey guys, my name is ZMEY! and I am rocking it at 22 years old, role-playing for roughly ten years - so i'm pretty chill with anything. i'm in the EASTERN time zone, and hail from UNITED STATES so how about that! currently my character looks just like DARREN CRISS or so i am told!
