His own family was certainly like this. However, from a young age, Philo thought outside this box. He was interested in Muggles and open to learn about them as well as listen to those who were non-Pureblood. Over time, he developed friendships with them as well. This of course made him the black sheep of sorts of the Greengrass family, but he seemed to care little and sat in his room and studied while his brother Quentin played the role of star son. It was hoped Philo would be sorted into Sytherin House at Hogwarts so that his Housemates could have some influence on him and change his mind about Muggles. However, to his delight and the dismay of his family, Philo was instead sorted into Ravenclaw when the Sorting Hat picked up on his intellect and open-mindedness. Philo enjoyed his time at the school, excelling in History of Magic and Muggle Studies. After graduating, Philo moved from his cozy mansion home to a small flat near Diagon Alley, vowing to make it on his own. He took a job at the local book shop and began writing in his spare time, particularly on the history of Muggles. He sent his work to the Wizarding Historical Society. While many of the PureBloods and/or Traditionalists rejected his work, other members who were open-minded as well accepted it and over time Philo became a Historian of Muggle Society. His new career made him even less loved by his family, but by then Philo rarely saw them. He was not even present for the birth of his nieces Daphne and Astoria. But then again, his family was MIA when he married a beautiful Muggle woman named Jill. However, when Philo did meet Astoria and Daphne's children, he did find himself fond of them as they displayed a modern sense of seeing the world that their elders didn't seem to possess. Today, Philo still lives happily with his wife. They have no kids of their home, but are content nevertheless in their remaining years together. Philo still writes for the Historical Society and gets well paid for it too, though his love for his work far exceeds his love for money. hey guys, my name is L.J.! and I am rocking it at AGE N/A years old, role-playing for roughly 3 years - so i'm pretty chill with anything. i'm in the EASTERN TIME ZONE time zone, and hail from UNITED STATES so how about that! currently my character looks just like IAN MCKELLAN or so i am told!
