Dax had been raised like any child born to a high powered pureblood family. He was raised with expectations to become a mini-me of his parents. To believe in the truth that purebloods were far more superior than halfbloods, muggleborns and muggles. The focus of dark magic though was incredibly important and his parents showed him what dark magic was about. This is what witches and wizards were meant to show off. Born a few years after him was a younger sister. Honestly he was super proud to be a big brother of his little sister Vanessa but as she grew older they realized she wasn't like them. She didn't like the dark magic, she didn't like being part of the Veltrino family. Dax felt as though she were ashamed of who they were. But he loved his sister and couldn't understand why she didn't want to join in their family traditions, be a part of the family. As they were growing up and the summer before he was due to go to Hogwarts his younger sister ran away. They couldn't find her after that. Dax was sure she didn't want to be found and found a place among some family that would have gladly taken her in. During the hard times of them missing their daughter Dax was off on the train to Hogwarts. He definitely followed the family line by being sorted into Slytherin and he was quite proud of this fact. He made his parents proud and tried to hide the fact that his sister had run away. Hogwarts treated the young man well. He definitely didn't fall far from the apple tree when it came to his intelligence and followed in line of quickly learning subjects in his classes and excelling at his best subject of Potions. He was happy that he was making his parents proud during his years. He worked hard to be the son that his parents had wanted especially after everything with Vanessa. It was all about trying to make the best out of the bad situation. The one problem was that his parents still wanted their daughter back. They wanted the one child that wanted nothing to do with them. So Dax had kind of turned into more about himself rather than trying to make his parents proud. And he found out during his years at Hogwarts who Vanessa was. Vanessa Velmont, the girl whose turn at the sorting hat took forever before deciding to place her in Gryffindor. The girl looked just like his sister but he never attempted to let his parents know, nor did he ever attempt to talk to her. It was better to leave things left alone. She didn't want what greatness their family would come into so why should he help his parents try and force her back into it. The year came when he turned seventeen and graduated from Hogwarts where he mostly lazed around home for the greater part of his adult life and occasionally helped out with his fathers business the Wicked Wand. He always told his parents that he was working on his Potions though. He was learning over time on how to make certain potions stronger and even modifying harmless ones to make detrimental things happen. He lives at Wicked Wand and has turned most of his room into a potions experiment lab as he keeps working on it. hey guys, my name is JESS! and I am rocking it at 23 years old, role-playing for roughly 10 years - so i'm pretty chill with anything. i'm in the MOUNTAIN time zone, and hail from USA so how about that! currently my character looks just like ELIJAH WOOD or so i am told!
