Aaron James Ullum was an interesting teenagerand a student at hogwarts. He was a wizard and if you asked him he would tell you that he was the best damn wizard in the entire world. He thought no one was better and he had gone through the trouble of quite a few duels to prove that to people. He liked to party and be around people. He was undoubtably popular and of course a hit with the girls. it wasn't a secret that he was attractive, another thing about himself that he'd tell you if you gave him the chance. He wasn't the smartest kid in his classes but he made an effort to pass. What was most important to him was how strong of a wizard he was. He made a big habbit uot of practicing and doing everything he could to get stronger. He had performed techniques, read books, trained, fought and everything he could. He elt that his abilities as a wizard could be limitless so long as no one tried to hold him back. However, His arrogance and his dreams of power shouldn't make anyone think that he is a bad person because that's just not true. Aaron is actually a really good person. He's sweet when he wants to be, he has a big heart and hes kind to certain people. He very much loves his closest friends and he'd do anything for them. A little secet that this kid has and yes, it's why he's almost never by himself, He is absolutely terrified of being alone, especially in the dark. He's afraid of the blackness and not being able to see. Oh well, not everyone can be perfect. He may have the looks and the talent but there are a few small things that kind of keep him down. Aaron had decided today that instead of sticking around hogwarts or or studying or just chilling out in his room with his friends he would instead get out and do some stuff. Though he didn't bring any friends with him, This still counted as not being alone because people were always around. So long as people were around he was fine but if you took him and placed him in a room on his own he might actually have a legitimate panic attack. he had decided a little bite to eat might do him some good, so, before he left. He broke out some of those fancy muggle clothes of his and put them on. he had admitted multiple times in the past that he hated the school uniform. Today aaron would be seen in rare fashion. His hair was put back, his nails were painted a jet black color. He had on a pair of skinny jeans. They were his favorite pair and if someone today told him that they looked way to tight then they surely wouldnt be the first person. Both of his arms were covered in random bracelets. They had names and designs on them. Some were from his favorite bands and others were phrases that he liked. From his neck hung a necklace that was made special for him and it might have actually shown his arrogance. it was a black string around his neck and from that hung a silver and much smaller version of his wand. His shirt was a plain black v-neck style and over that he wore his maroon colored leather jacket with a white hood. On his fingers were several rings, some of them, most of them actually were girls fingers, probably a bunch of things from past girls that he had spent a grand total of a week with and lastly he wore something that made him a good four inches higher. Stage boots. A pair of black and red ones. They were wore and torn a bit but he loved them. Aaron hadn't had ice cream in some time now so he figured that it wouldnt hurt anything if he grabbed some. it wasn't his favorite thing but it certainly wasn't his least favorite either. He had his jacket zipped up, his hood over his head and his hands in his pockets. He slide through the door as someone else was on their way out, to avoid touching the door handle. He looked around and noticed that there were far to many people inside. It was kind of crowded. How odd, or so he thought. He tried to get past a few people but he was pushed to the side a bit. Finally he decided to just move to the side. Why on earth was it so busy. Aaron waited and when he got the chance. He went to the counter. It was like it was the hottest day of summer. Aaron went over what he could get and he made his choice. He waited another moment and then poof, like magic, he had what he wanted. He looked so happy when he saw it coming to his hand. He took it and got this look on his face like he was a little child in the toy store. he brought the ice cream toward his mouth as he turned and just as it went to touch his tongue someone bumped into him. He wasn't sure if it was on purpose or not, all he knew is that he watched in horror as his beautiful ice cream fell from his hand and plummeted in slow motion to the floor.

There was always this sort of…perk that came along with being Daddy’s Little Girl. Even when her father was positively put off by several of her beliefs, it was always a relief when he agreed to do something for her because she had asked. She had no doubt in her mind that, if Cole had asked to do something similar, he likely wouldn’t have gotten away with it. Then again, she could have simply asked her mother. She had done all her homework. She had assigned Prefects patrols. She’d met with most of her clubs, and the ones that she hadn’t met with weren’t meeting for at least a couple of days. It wasn’t like it was utterly impossible for her to ask to be taken out of Hogwarts. All she had asked was that her father take her out for two days so that she might have time to plan things and arrange locations before the end of the term. She had compiled a list of things Rosalie might need. Her friend might have come herself, but it hadn’t been likely that the Harpers would allow her to leave school without a proper escort. That, and Thalia probably, realistically, needed a break before she snapped at someone. How people expected both her and Oliver to be in perpetually good moods was beyond her. It was almost like they didn’t realize just how stressed their Head Students were. If it hadn’t been for some of the lessons her parents had made her take when she was younger, she was sure she would have imploded by now. So, yes she had asked her father to let her take a couple of hours off at Hogwarts. With everything she had done, she felt like she had deserved it. Yes, she had gotten necessary stuff done while she was here, but it wasn’t like she hadn’t planned any free time.
She’d booked a location for Rosey, then she had proceeded to turn straight into the bakery and got herself a nice, glazed pastry. While she had been eating that, she’d wandered into Flourish & Blotts and picked herself out a couple of novels. She’d stuffed them in her bag and made her way towards Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream. She was in dire need of some Magisterial Melon. It was one of her favorite flavors. She almost changed her mind when she saw Aaron Ullum in front of her in line, but she had been looking so forward to it that she hadn’t really wanted to leave. Thalia had resolved to be quiet instead. It wasn’t that she hated Aaron. It was incredibly difficult to be someone she hated. It was more like she was constantly being annoyed by his little quest to be the absolute best. There were no ‘bests’ in Hogwarts, although she boasted the award for most likely to succeed. How Oliver hadn’t won a similar award was beyond her…She didn’t dislike the boy for being a Gryffindor, contrary to popular beliefs. There were several who donned the red and gold robes that she got along with fabulously. There was just this…unwritten and half-hearted rivalry between the two. The blonde Slytherin’s goals had never been to be the best. It had never been among her goals to make others acknowledge her as such. Everything she did was for her own future and for her own amusement. In the event that something quit being fun, Thalia was more than likely to drop it and move on to something else. She tried not to tap her foot, mostly because she didn’t want him to turn around and notice that she was there. Her black wedges were just too likely to make too much noise. She pulled down on her dress a little, shifting her gaze to one of the moving posters. Her dress was black with purple little flower patterns around the bottom. It was pretty short, shorter than anything she’d wear while not on the beach. But, it was comfortable and the days were just starting to get warm.
Still cold enough for a little cardigan or something else, so it was likely that she’d be visiting Madam Malkin’s after getting her much desired ice cream. At least, that was if she could avoid making eye contact with Aaron. At least he had finally gotten his ice cream. Her eyes brightened at the thought of him moving to the side and leaving so that she could finally get her treat when he turned around. “I-“ She tried to step back, but the place had been stacked full of people. Why he hadn’t just side stepped and then turned instead of turning around directly into the line of people was beyond him. What was worse was that his hand had managed to hit her. With people behind her, it wasn’t like she could step back and avoid anything. Instead, she could merely grit her teeth and glower at him as his precious little ice cream landed mostly on the floor in front of them. What hadn’t landed on the floor remained behind on her feet. Her toes wiggled around coldly, and, in an instant, her wand was in her hand. “Tergeo.” She said quickly, pointing her wand down and side stepping Aaron and his little mess once her feet were no longer covered. “Can I have a Magisterial Melon in a cone, please? And whatever it was that he had.” Thalia had placed down three Galleons and insisted that they keep the change. When the cones were in her hand, she’d, albeit a little more roughly than she intended, grabbed onto one of his many questionable bracelets and dragged him over to a table. “Well, wasn’t that just peachy?”

Aaron would openly admit how sad he was to see his ice cream crash into the floor but all sadness was removed when he noticed who was right there, who it was that he would say ran into him. It was one of his favorite people to mess with. Of all people that he get on the nerves of, she was probably his favorite and most certainly the prettiest girl he ever spent time irritating, Though it was doubtful he'd say that one to her face. However, before aaron knew what was going on everything was so much better. She took care of everything, got herself something and replaced his ice cream as well, and that was nice considering he thought it was her fault and then all of a sudden he was being pulled over to a table. He went down in the chair so fast it nearly tipped over. he had to grab the table with both hands to get from going down. When he caught his balance he shook his head a bit, things were moving way to fast for his liking. He took a deep breath and looked at Thalia. She looked quite pretty in her dress, a little more than pretty but he wasn't bold enough to go past the P word.
She was actually one of the last people he expected to see today and most definitely the last he expected to be somewhat nice to him. He always gave her a hell of a time and not in a good way. He was always trying to get on her nerves or piss her off. He had six or seven pranks ready at about any time just so he could ruin her day. It made him look like a bit of a dick, which he could be from time to time but he did it because he kind of liked her and wasn't sure of how to approach that and so instead he just went about it all the wrong way. It could be argued that he had no idea what to do with girls and thats why he had never had a lasting relationship, Others might tell you that he was far to immature to handle a relationship but truth be told, he just needed something that would make him grow up and realize that the way he acted wasn't something that he could continue with his entire life.
Aaron didn't always look into the future and think about things. He was actually more of a 'live in the moment' kind of guy and that's why he had so much fun. He never thought much of things ending or death or sadness, unless of course he was alone. He was one of those people that drowned themselves in life and succeeded at making the bad things go away. It was an unhealthy way of dealing with problems but he was immature and didn't know another way. Maybe one of these days he would grow up but many people doubted it. Aaron had far too much fun pulling pranks, making fun of people and dueling. He thought he was the best in the world and would prove it to anyone that wanted him too. Right now, if someone came up to him in this place and asked to duel he would jump out of his chair, pull out his wand and fight a random person until the place crumbled around them. One of his closest friends thought it was actually that aaron was afraid of not being accepted and that was his biggest fear, instead of being alone but aaron of course denied it.
He straightened himself up in the chair, put his elbows on the table and looked at Thalia. "That was peachy, Alia." He said softly with this starstruck look in his eyes. One of those things he tried to do to get on her nerves was call her Alia. It was something he did with everyone. He would break their names apart and pick his own thing to call them. It was rare that he ever called someone by their actual name, even when it was a teacher. Aaron could really be an aggravating and he knew that. Some part of him wanted to get up and get her chair for her or something but he remained seated and pushed that desire to the back of his mind. He couldn't be nice to her, no way, not after how awful he had been to her for so long. That would give him away.
He ran his eyes over her briefly before looking up toward her own eyes. He offered a smile that might hint toward him being up to something but he didn't care if she saw that. Again, he couldn't be letting her think he wasn't a jerk. "Dont you look just wonderful today." He said with a grin. He was definitely going to try and get to her. So many great ideas were already forming in the back of his mind. There were fire spells, he could catch part of her dress on fire. He could set her head on fire. He could turn her ice cream into something. He could even turn her chair into something when she went to sit down. He let out a loud laugh inside his own head and tried his hardest not to let it come to life, It'd look odd that he was laughing at nothing.
Apart from the evil thoughts and schemes coming together in his mind right now he couldn't help but think about how pretty she looked. There were so many girls around but he thought she was the prettiest. She always had the best hair, even on a day where hair hair might no be agreeing with her. She had the most gorgeous eyes and easily the most absolutely perfect smile. Aaron couldn't let himself think about it to much, his eyes were known to give away to much in the past and he would not know what to do if he slipped up and she found out that he had a bit of a large crush on her.

Thalia had been raised as a proper and prim girl. She had been expected never to make a scene, and she had never really done so. That was why Aaron annoyed her so much. Well, that and the really stupid challenges and pranks that he pulled on her. The amount of detentions she wanted to give him. She was very much aware that it was always him that did it, but she could never actually catch him in the act. He had been the point behind several frustrated stories directed at her friends. She kept her wand in her right hand, and transferred her ice cream to her left. She could cast spells wandless, but she preferred not to do it while people were around. He had spilled ice cream all over her feet. Even if she cast a warming spell, she couldn't trust that he, somehow, wasn't planning on doing something. She was a little miffed to be sitting opposite him, but she all but forced herself to sit down opposite. The blonde didn't normally have very many problems with people. In fact, she could only think of one person that she ever actively didn't get along with. Then, there was Aaron and their kind-of rivalry that only he ever took seriously. She avoided eye contact once they got to the table. That she had nearly caused him to fall over the table was embarrassing in and of itself.
Today had started out with so much promise, too. She set her wand down on her lap, and made sure that it was within reach just in case that something happened. Aaron was almost always prepared to do something to her. She was never entirely certain. “My name isn't Alia.” She said absently, ignoring him. This had to be the hundredth time that she had told him. She had never been a big fan of nicknames. Like, how Rosalie managed it with everyone calling her Rosey Posey was beyond her. She could feel the small vein underneath her eye twitch a little in frustration. Even Wallace and Scorpius knew better than to give her pet names or anything of the sort. Why Aaron was so determined to annoy her or frustrate her was a bigger question than she could answer. There were other students out there who would, surely, be a better fit for him to tease than she was. Yes, it was true that she got frustrated and annoyed. Only, she had also been schooled to freeze her features and keep her face blank for minutes at a time. It was something that was pretty much instilled in every single Slytherin. Or, at the very least, in those in their little family. Watching Cole, Darrius, and Scorpius do it had been petrifying as a child. Since she had learned to do so had become incredibly fun. It had been the reason that the people who were decorating for Rosalie's bridal gown had agreed to do so regardless of the fact that she had been the one to commission them, and that she hardly looked old enough to do so. It was annoying that Aaron was the only one who didn't shift nervously whenever she glowered at them.
“And, how many times do I have to tell you that? Either call me Thalia or call me Nott.” She had especially loved when people had called her that within this past year. Normally, they had reserved that name for her brother. She might have been more involved around the school, but Cole had definitely been the more popular one. Generally friendly and captain of the Quidditch team, it was rare that someone didn't know who he was. Not very many people paid attention to his nerdy, younger sister as a result. Until this year; everyone knew who she was this year. She'd become somewhat infamous for her meticulous planning. She left very little to chance. It was why she was one of those high-valued students. Because, she had no idea what she was going to do with her life. She thought about following after her godmother. Being an Obliviator seemed like a lot of fun, and she adored her godmother more than she did her actual aunt. Then again, Thalia had always been fascinated by Magical Law, which meant that she'd likely be following after her godfather and father and head into the confederation of wizards. “Since we're not really friends, I think that I would prefer it if you called me Nott, actually.” Maybe if he hadn't pulled all those pranks, but the blonde hadn't been known to forgive so easily.
Which is why she was almost immediately suspicious when he complimented her. To her knowledge, she could count the number of times that he complimented her on one hand. Usually it followed with something horrible and he pranked her afterwards. She pulled at her dress and narrowed her eyes, finally turning them towards him. She licked at her cone doing so, somewhat ruining the effect. “Thanks?” She question was in her voice. “I had errands to do, which is why my father pulled me out of school. And, you? Why are you out of school?” She got down to the top of her cone. At least, if he tried something, she'd be able to give him a detention for it. She doubted very much that he had gotten permission to leave the school. And, well, if he hadn't, it wouldn't be her problem. She was determined to finish her cone and be on her way.

Aaron couldn't help but find himself making fun of her in his head. In his mind he was doing his own impersonation and mocking her voice. He got this grin on his face and it was because of what he was thinking. Sometimes though he just needed someone to walk up and slap him on the back of the head and tell him to be nice. He was so quick to want to duel with everyone that no one ever wanted to try and tell him to act right or grow up because they'd end up in a fight. Aaron had been quite lucky in his lifetime. he was a gifted wizard and a smart kid. He knew what fights he could win and what fights he would definitely lose, not that he would admit to picking his fights of course but he still knew what to do and what to not do. He was never in the habbit of making himself look bad, at least in his own eyes, nor was in willing to give someone else a chance to embarrass him. That's another reason he was so quick to act and always knew what to do. He couldn't recall a time someone had ever made him look bad or a time where he was the end of the joke. That might be him selecting his memories but again, aaron would never admit to anything that made him look like the loser. Though he made fun of her voice in his head, He enjoyed it. He thought to himself in the past that she had a great voice for reading. It would be awesome to hear her read a book to me he thought. Finally though he thought he would continue his irritation. He grinned real big at her and then spoke.
"How about i 'Nott' call you anything but Alia?" He laughed. Aaron legitimately thought that was a funny joke. He smacked the table a few times with his hand and kept laughing before he finally came to a stop. He ought to be a bit more careful though, it never came to his mind that she could technically get him in a lot of trouble. Mostly it was just the fact that he didnt care at all. Aaron wasn't born to care, he was born to be a wild child. At least that's what he'd tell a room full of people. Surprisingly though he had a ton of friends, he was really popular and a lot of people loved his jokes and pranks. He didnt know how lucky he was. Many people like him wouldn't have friends just because of the fact that he does things to everyone. Some of his friends share the same sense of humor and others dont but they still love and accept the joke. Everyone knows his tricks are never ending. He often pulls a prank and has another set up right after just so when you think its over you get hit by something else or something falls on you. It never stops. He needs to be thankful that he's lasted at school this long.
Aaron was raised to have whatever he wanted and it kind of made him spoiled, well ok, it really made him spoiled. To this day he doesn't care about the consequences of things nor does he believe he will suffer from them. That's another reason he's such a prankster. There is a few select people that think he'll manage to settle down some day and grow up but saying that to his face would only make him laugh. The greatest wizard in the world playing jokes on people for eternity, that's his childish plan. Someone needed to make him put his head in the books and focus on the future instead of what would make people laugh the most. The real reality of his jokes and pranks was that most of them aren't even that funny, he just hangs out with people like himself that love to see things happen to other people. That's why adults and people like Thalia always either ignore him or give him stern looks.
Aaron shifted his legs around a bit, the boots were actually getting uncomfortable. He popped his hood down off of his head and let his hair down. He shook his head to loosen it up and then used a free hand to kind of move it around. He jumped a bit when he finally remembered his ice cream. That is actually what he was here for after all. His hair was something he was always proud of. He never talked about it or boasted about it being the best in the school but he loved it. Today however it wasn't anything special because he just had it tied back. it was actually kind of messy. He'd probably freak out if he saw it right now. "I guess i shouldn't make fun of you though, right? I mean, you've got things to do so it'll just put you in a bad mood, plus you'll probably get my ass tossed in detention or something. You'll run off and tell someone i was mean to you, am i right?" He sort of meant that as a joke but it sounded more like he was being a dick. He finally stopped fiddling with his hair and he focused his gorgeous eyes on her again. This kid would be lucky to land the worst girl in school and yet he thought about the best. Perhaps if he wasn't such an idiot he might actually make a friend out of her but changing him from what he was would be harder than swimming through lava.

When Thalia had first been sorted into Slytherin, she had gotten those jokes quite a bit. It was like no one seemed to grasp that the young blonde didn't find it funny when they would make a jab at her using her last name. The quickest way, back then, to get on her last nerve was using one of those jokes. Perhaps that was why, now that she was actually paying some attention to Aaron instead of leaving him as an afterthought, she found herself scowling at him. He had always been one for making a scene. He laughed too loudly, and at something that wasn't really all that funny. If she were to be honest with herself, there was nothing more than she would like than to wave her wand in front of his face and hit him with a silencing spell. Maybe then he'd realize that his ice cream was going to melt all over his hand. As it was, she couldn't really finish her own without feeling weird about it. He was paying too close attention to her. She shifted in her seat, and refocused her attention back on her cone. By the time that Aaron seemed to remember he had one, she had almost finished hers. “Honestly, Ullum, I don't see why you insist on giving me a nickname.” It wasn't even a mean one that she could put up with in the back of her head. It was a butchering of her name. She was certain that, if her parents ever heard such a dreadful byname, they would also be outraged on her behalf. Even they had never given her one. Not even the boys had given her one, and they had known her since she had been diapers. The only one who had gotten remotely close had been Rosey, and everyone knew she was the exception that proved she disliked them. “You don't see me giving you one.”
She hadn't even given Wallace one, and the two of them had been dating for nearly two years. The only people who had ever managed to extract nicknames from her were Kat, Scorp, and Ali...and that had been so because they had insisted on it, not because she had given them one of her own will. If she had to think of one for Aaron, it would likely be longer than his original name and would definitely had something to do with his insistance of getting under her skin. “Also, could you please not do that? You might like people's attention on you, but I don't.” Which was, in retrospect, something that was honestly a tad funny. Thalia managed to spend most of her time in classes and in clubs, often commanding the attention of the people around her. She didn't have a big head, but, when she spoke, people often stopped to listen to what she had to say. Despite that, she utterly loathed people looking at her if she wasn't talking. It made her feel like something was wrong with her. Like, perhaps, a hair was out of place. Or, her makeup was smeared somehow. Or, even, that she had something stuck between her teeth. There had only ever been one time in her stay in Hogwarts where she hadn't looked her absoloute best. That had been when she had been so stressed the previous year in the common room. She had snapped at everyone and anyone who had gotten to close to her. The only exception to this had been Darrius, and he had managed to calm her down. She'd taken a very long nap afterwards, and, when she had woken up, she had been back to looking her best. Even today, when she hadn't thought that she'd be running into people, she had made sure to look nice. The only thing she was missing, now, was a cardigan, and that was mostly because of the way she'd caught a couple of people looking at her.
She didn't need to be a master at reading the thoughts of others to get the gist at what some of the boys were thinking. And, it made Thalia flush furiously. People glancing at her like that made her think back to the summer in Greece where the Muggle boys had had her cornered, and how she hadn't had much of a chance to escape until she had been rescued. “You shouldn't make fun of me because it's rude and uncalled for.” She defended herself, polishing off the last of her cone. She tapped her hand with her wand, muttering “Scorgify” under her breath to make sure that her hand was no longer sticky and was back to clean. “Not just because I can give you a detention. Besides, there's nothing against the rules for calling people names. Now, if you were to have set something on fire, or pulled my chair out from under me or something like that, then I'd give you a detention.” Thalia peered at him through underneath her eyelashes, head tilted down. “Or, for breaking the rules and being outside of Hogwarts without permission. I would think a Professor would like to know if you did something as stupid as that. But, no, I'm not a snitch and I'm very capable of taking care of myself.” Her mouth turned into a smirk, and she crossed her arms across her chest. “As if I would need to tell someone that you were being mean to me. As if I valued what you said that highly.” Honestly, that had come off a bit meaner than she would have liked, too, but it served to prove a point. There wasn't very many people who could insult her that she would let it take to heart. It was one of the things that came with being a Slytherin. They were taught, from First year on, to never let people's words get to them, especially. A lot had been done when it came to the House rivalry, and Slytherins were no longer viewed as the epitome as evil, but they still hadn't had a lot of respect. There were still cruel words between them. So, everything that Aaron said with the intent to hurt her feelings really just made her want to laugh.

Aaron lowered his eyes a bit and took a moment to devour his cone. Maybe he should actually be nice to her. Crush aside, she was a nice girl, she was pretty, smart and sort of kind, at least in his experience with her she had always been nice, it was him that had been mean to her. He'd never openly admit to regretting how he treated her sometimes but it was true. Aaron could think about to a time before hogwarts when he was the kid getting picked on. He was never joked on or pranked but he was pushed around and shoved down. Sometimes people would make fun of his hair but it was never much and it'd never be used as an excuse because the only people that ever knew he was bullied were his parents. After he had finished his cone he kind of raised his eyes to her a bit. He should definitely be nice to her. She had things to do today but she had taken her time and bought him another ice cream when honestly it was completely his fault that he dropped his original. She also took the time to sit with him and talk even though it was obvious, mostly to him, that she very much disliked even being in his presence. That made him uncomfortable but it wasn't because of anything other than the fact that he wanted her to like him. He didn't want her to hate him. Finally he just took a deep breath and rolled his eyes over as he leaned back in the chair. He started to put his feet up on the table but he stopped. He knew that would probably drive her insane. He tried to keep himself from looking like he was checking her out, he didn't want to bother her with that either. He threw one arm over the back of the chair and smiled.
"Thank you.. for the ice cream." he said softly and somewhat hesitantly. he was genuinely and that might have been made obvious by his near unwillingness to say it. "You're really nice, pretty much all the time. You replaced the ice cream even though it was my fault that i dropped it. I should have been watching where i was going. You even have things to do and instead you're still here putting up with me. Which i can't honestly figure out why and im quite curious. " he moved his arm back over the chair and he leaned forward a bit. He dropped his elbows down on the table and looked ahead at Thalia.
He really did have to wonder why she was still bothering to even listen to him. Sitting around and worrying about things that weren't really all that important was a problem of his. Take, for example, the fact that he was not even paying attention to things like finishing school. He couldn't honestly imagine a single thing he was going to do in the future that would require him finishing school but that was just the immature part of him. he needed to finish but he didn't know that yet. He didn't really ever think that something would be wrong with him being the greatest wizard in the world if he had never finished hogwarts. Aaron looked down and brushed one of his fingers over his over head, along his finger and down over his polished black nail. He looked a bit odd in this world dressed like this. he was honestly surprised she hadn't said something about it, even more surprising was that he was certain she knew he had no permission to be outside of school and yet she did nothing. That thought made him smile for some reason. When he finally sat up straight he adjusted his jacket a bit and looked down. He made sure it was straight enough and then he adjusted a few of his bracelets to be sure they weren't laying over one another..
"I actually appreciate you being nice to me. I know i don't deserve really anyone being that way. I've always been a bit of a mean person. Im honestly surprised by a lot of people that still talk to me. Jokes are just a lot of fun. I'm genuinely sorry for making fun of your name and its not because i know you could get me in trouble. it probably sounds like that but.. Like i said, You're a nice girl so.. why not be nice back, yanno?' He cleared his throat a bit and shook his head. He was being a bit unlike himself but oh well, people were different sometimes. He would later blame it on his crush.
He sat there for a moment and tried to think of something else to say to her that would actually sound nice. it was difficult for him to come up with things like that because he was always being mean. After a short time he suddenly jumped when thunder struck outside. It wasn't his biggest fear in the world but it sometimes startled the hell out of him. he grabbed the edges of the table and jerked his head to look toward the window. He took a deep breath and slowly turned back to Thalia. A near grown man afraid of thunder. Today was obviously not going to be his finest day. He laughed a bit, feeling a little bad for jumping like he did. he wasn't expecting rain today, it really didn't look like it was going to fall. As his eyes met hers he offered her a brief smile.
"So, if you can forgive me for being so rude to you today, may i ask what your plans were?" He tried to retain his smile but he failed at that after a few seconds. He put his hands together on the table and kept his eyes on her. He was going to try and roll with this nice thing and see where it got him.

Thalia wasn’t really used to being called nice. She was opportunistic, yeah. She knew how to get what she wanted and how to go about getting it. Every once in a while, when she helped a younger student from getting into trouble with an older student. When she protected them, they’d call her nice. She had plenty of people who thought the opposite of her. She had grown up pretty much stuck up and had kept her friends from childhood. She hadn’t paid much attention to the rest of the people of her grade that didn’t go out to prove to her otherwise. So, to hear someone call her nice was a little flattering. She smiled, and brushed her hair out of her face. It felt nice to see him apologize. She wasn’t sure if he would actually keep to it or not, but the sentiment was nice either way. She nodded her head absently, and shrugged her shoulders. “I was trying to sidestep you. To make sure that you didn’t see me. I didn’t want you to try to knock me down with some spell or something while I was ordering my ice cream.” Because, if she thought about it realistically, it should have been something that crossed his mind. He had picked on her pretty much since the first moment that they had meant. Thalia didn’t really blame him. He told her that she was nice, but the moments were few and rare. If she had just met herself, she was certain that she wouldn't particularly care for herself. She was bossy and easily stressed out, all the things that she had brought upon herself. The only thing that really frustrated her about Ullum was the fact that he was so laidback. To someone like her, it seemed like almost an insult. She took her studies serious. To see other people not do so kind of felt like they were mocking her or something.
She ran the rest of his words over in her head, pondering them. Why had she paused and helped him out? Mostly because she had reacted without thinking about it too much. She had felt embarrassed, so she had reacted quickly and in the fastest way that she could. She hadn’t meant to do him anything special. It had sort of...just happened. “I’m sticking to a schedule.” She said finally, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a tiny book. One of her favorite charms was the Shrinking Charm because it made things easier for her to stick in her pocket instead of keeping a purse. Thalia sorted through some of the stuff before picking up the small book, placing it on the table while simultaneously sticking the rest of her stuff back into her pocket. “I gave myself free time to sit down and relax a little bit before my next appointment.” She picked up her wand from her lap and tapped on the planner, muttering, "Engorgio." If she were timing everything correctly, she still had a couple of minutes more before she absolutely had to go and meet with the people of the club. After that she had to go and get flowers and balloons; she also had to make sure that she had another dress to go along with it. Although she hadn’t been raised entirely spoiled, she had never had to attend an event in the same dress before. She was sure that she had a couple that she would look pretty nice in, but she didn’t really want to wear any of them on such a special occasion. That had been yet another reason that she had decided to come out. It had been a complete accident that the two of them had run into each other. She wouldn’t have done it on purpose.
“I’m not being nice.” She said simply with another shrug of her shoulder. “I’m being myself. You’re not a bad guy, Ullum. At least, not in general. You have high ambitions, which is great. You’re just not used to working hard for it. What’s challenging everyone to a duel going to do but get you seriously hurt one day?” Not that it was any of his business what he did. She turned down the duels every time he issued one, regardless of how frustrated she got. It was easier to do that then to have to sit through some sort of detention. She’d never had detention before in her life, and she wasn’t intent on having it now. It would have been deterrent to her life. Stuck in detention, she wouldn’t have been able to go to any of the club meetings, or even get her homework done. Or, it would interfere with her patrolling, and she couldn’t leave Oliver to everything. “Oh, it’s raining.” Her lips pressed together, and she crossed her arms across her chest extremely unamused. She hadn’t planned on it raining, but that wouldn’t be too much of a problem. She would have to hit herself with an Impervius charm later to make sure that she stay dry. Until then, Aaron’s reaction hadn’t gone unnoticed by her. Still, good manners taught her better than to point it out to him and make him feel bad about something. To do such a thing would make it look like she hadn’t been raised properly, and she wasn’t Captain of the etiquette club because she had been raised poorly. “It’s not that you were being rude today. In fact, you’ve been pleasant, kind of, today. It’s every other day that you should apologize for.” Still, Thalia sucked in a breath and smiled politely. “One of my best friend’s is getting married. I’m her Maid of Honor, so I thought one of the best ways for her to relax is to get a club so she could have fun.”

Aaron took a deep breath as he listened to her. it was interesting to feel not so hated by her for a moment. Perhaps his assumptions of her feeling were quite wrong. Once she had flashed him a smile he couldn't seem to hide how much he enjoyed that. He turned his head a bit and covered his face a little. he tried to make it look like he was just moving. He wasn't ever one to be shy or embarrassed but he might be a little bit right now. When he finally looked back to her he smiled a bit and spoke. "I guess you're right. It is gonna get me hurt someday. I should probably be a bit more careful." Aaron wasn't quite sure how much he meant what he just said. Honestly it was something he said to try and impress her. "and i do have high hopes for myself but i really feel like i lack something to make me want more out of life. I'm a good wizard. I know that, I'm not stupid. I'm strong, i know that too, again, not stupid. It's obvious to everyone and that's not my ego or anything else but the truth. People see it, i am complimented and everything but other than that i just really don't have a lot else going on." While it was true he didnt have much else going on other than a pretty face he was just saying it because to him it sounded like something she would want to hear. "And i am sorry.. even if i dont always say it." He paused for a moment and hesitated a bit. it was like he didn't want the word to escape his lips. "Thalia." He spoke her name softly and it ended his apology.
Aaron cut his eyes to look out at the rain. Something came to mind. He took a moment to think about it and finally he cut his eyes back to the female. "Maid of honor though, huh? I kind of want to be the best man at a wedding. Seems like that would be really cool. I hope you have a great time." He offered her another smile and sat up a bit straighter than time as he did. "Im not really sure what all you're doing today but maybe.. i don't know. Maybe there is something i come join you on? I swear to you that there will be no jokes or pranks or things happening. I won't try to mess with you or cause you to get hurt. If there are actually any jokes i'll just be telling them." He laughed a bit, offering a smile at the end.
He loved his jokes and pranks but if he could spend time with her he would seriously drop them. Maybe he could make a friendship out of this yet. Although, Aaron may have sat there like he did and thought he could hang out with her for a while and not pull a single prank but a time would come when he found to funny not to try. He would really do his best though, She was so pretty and she was being good to him, so, He would be the best version of a nice kid he could be. Aaron didnt have a lot of experience acting his age or following the rules, it just wasn't in his nature. He always felt more like making the rules instead of following the ones other people made.
OOC: Sorry its short. I am just exhausted.

That he was actually listening to her was a bit of a surprise. She had got so used to him ignoring just about everything she said that she was beyond surprised. He couldn't really understand why he had turned away as if she had embarrassed him or something. He was probably upset that she had reprimanded him or something. He probably didn't want her to see how embarrassed he was. Her nose wrinkled up, and she rolled her eyes a little. “You're a little like Wallace in that regard. He can be a bit careless sometimes, too, so we have to look out for him.” She gestured at him with her hand. All he needed was for someone to look after him and keep him out of trouble. She'd volunteer for it or something, but she couldn't. Not with the amount of stuff she already had on her plate. “Huh. I wonder what that's like. I'm in just about everything. A lot of classes and a lot of organizations. I'm helping plan a wedding, and then I have to go and make sure that you and all the other trouble makers are getting reprimanded for everything that you have done.” It wasn't a lot of work when she actually managed to schedule it all out.
She shrugged her shoulders at his apology, but it was touching. It was nice to get it. She wasn't normally used to getting apologies from anyone. It was sweet. “Thanks. It's...nice to hear that every once in a while. I'm sorry for being so mean sometimes, too.” Although, Thalia usually was calm. The only time she ever got hurt or whatever was when she was stressed. And, with everything that had been going on in her life, she had the tendency to get stressed. “Yeah. I knew her since I was little. Not like Malfoys and Zabinis, but we've been close. It was between me and Andrea Flint, and I was nicer to her growing up.” That and she tended to talk to her a lot more. Either way, she was planning on having fun. She had to plan fun, and that was really weird. “I'll try. I just have to plan a lot of things and get things written down. When Rosalie is happy, I'll be happy. That's what matters.” Perhaps it was a little weird for her, but still. Still, when he asked her if he could tag along, she felt her features freeze on her face. It was out of character for him. Apologizing she could handle, but this was something else entirely. Her lips pressed together, and her eyes narrowed a little. She crossed her arms across her chest and stared at him, trying to figure out what was his motive. He had to have a motive. He wouldn't want to come with her just for the sake of coming with her. It would be unprecedented.
“I'm not sure if that's the best idea in the world. We don't normally get along, you know?” She tried this carefully, her eyes focused on him clearly. If he thought that this was some sort of a joke or something, she was going to be sure to let him know. She wasn't going to put up with it. She had been tormented and teased enough by him that she wasn't going to let him do it on her actual day off. That would be if he were joking or something. “You won't set my hair on fire? You won't trip me?” Because, if he was being serious or something, then everything would be okay. She wouldn't have someone who disliked her hanging around with her and taking her stuff. Not today when she had to get a lot of stuff planned out.
OOC: That's fine. Mine's not that much longer, and it's pretty short, too. I'm also pretty late.
