Cameron grinned and looked down at what he had written. There was a younger girl he had been semi-connected to a few times in groups who he thought could be a wonderfully easy target for his charms if he played it right. First however, he had to get her loosened up about him and that made her a natural invite for his sister's wedding. He could play the romantic friend, give her a few hints at his skills, but not enough to go too far. He read over his words carefully, it was a simple note nothing too much.
At least, he remembered it being good enough since she had written back. Maybe it was knowing if she ran away from him she had an advantage? He smiled to himself and straightened his tie, already there at the wedding. For that part he was in the service and she had to sit in the audience of well wishers for the time being, but leaving it to go to the reception they had arranged to meet in the foyer. With high hopes after his sister processed out, he rolled down the aisle feeling sharp even if injured.
Made him more attractive being injured to most girls anyway he was willing to bet.
In the foyer after getting a kiss from his sister and a picture of the two of them from the official wizarding photographer, he was there to the side waiting for her when she showed up out of the crowd. Smiling broadly, he held out a hand for her and caught her fingers giving then a light squeeze. "Well hi there!" His lips formed a wolf whistle though he kept it quietly for her. "Don't you look pretty! I'm going to get a lot of jealous looks tonight I can tell!"

She had, of course, been told her cousin would be getting married in the summer. What came as a surprise, however, was the realization he would be marrying Cameron's sister. 'Small world', she had thought when the letter arrived. The invitation came as a welcome surprise. She fully expected the affair to be elegant, expensive, and very very dull. A day with Cameron would be fun, she was certain, weelchair or not, and it would serve to break up the monotony of small talk with relatives she rarely saw and varying renditions of 'my how you've grown' and other such sentiments. When she'd mentioned having a date to the wedding, her father had raised a brow, but she had shrugged it off as a casual thing, because after all, there had never been anything between she and Cameron beyond simple flirtation. He was older and experienced and Ally had not yet worked up the courage to see how far he might take the lingering looks he sometimes gave her in class.
Her experience was minimal at the moment. Ally liked very much to be desired, and had quickly discovered that men desired most what they could not have. She thought of Cameron and smiled a mischievous smile to herself. She could have him she thought, for a moment or two, if she handled herself correctly, and it was a gift Ally had always possessed, the Slytherin in her she supposed, which allowed her a bit more subtlty than the average Gryffindor, and a great deal more willingness to play a game to its end. She had little interest in boys her own age who were clumsy and best and brash at worst. But Cameron, who seemed more than willing to play a much more complex method, intrigued her as no one had yet done, and she was drawn to him because of it in a way that was new and all together wholly exciting, two things for which Ally had always had a an encompassing weakness.
Her reply had been short, flirtatious, and playful. She had informed him that as it happened her cousin was the groom at that very same wedding and perhaps the two of them between them could find a way to create a bit more excitement for themselves than the event itself promised to offer. She had been aware of his accident of course, but she didn't mind. His being indisposed would give her an excuse to avoid dancing with the more aggressive portion of her more distant family, who cared very little that Ally was (admittedly distantly) a cousin, and therefore fully off-limits in her own mind. The thought of irritating them made her smile. The thought of spending time with Cameron made her...breath catch in a way that had her mind whirring with possibilities. She loved a good game of cat and mouse, especially when one was never quite sure which was which.
He had been easy to spot at the wedding itself, near the front since he was much more closely related to the bride than she was to the groom. His sister was beautiful, not that Ally had expected anything less. The Silver men had an eye for beauty, and she had a look about the eyes that Ally liked. If she was anything like her brother, the two of them might even be friends someday. She found the thought amusing., After, when bride and groom and made their exit and everyone had begun filing out for the reception, she found him, looking even more handsome than he had at a distance, and smiling at her in a way that said he liked what he saw as well, which pleased her to no end. "Charming as always" she leaned down to murmur playfully in his ear. She kissed his cheek softly, a brush of the lips that was a bit beyond being a strictly friendly gesture. She felt confined in her more traditional clothes, but Ally liked to make a splash for the right reasons in these situations, and she was confident her dress did that.
"She's beautiful" Ally complimented, nodding in the direction where his sister had disappeared with her cousin."The two of you look very alike." She smirked at him, studying his face as though looking for resemblence. "Its rather lovely as weddings go. I don't mind these things so long as I'm not the one in white." She grinned at him.

Despite her youth, Cameron had the feeling that Ally wasn't just a wilder child then most, but that she enjoyed a game out of it, much as he often found romance between the less serious. That did not make him think any less of her, but it meant if he was right tonight was going to be playful and teasing and hinting at something maybe to come. And oh, he hoped it was to come. And when she came out in that wrap, his instinct was to make a comment about unwrapping beautiful and desirable women for the moment of bliss they provided for the senses. However as she leaned down and spoke, he murmured back something more teasing instead.
"Ah, a man restricted in his ability to chase a beautiful woman must instead use charm so thank you, I am glad you think I am." he grinned slightly wider at the kiss, seeing she had come to play hardball! Damn the lap harness he had to wear under which prevented his rising! "I'll pass the word to her, though I agree. She is quite likely the most beautiful woman I know because I know her whole heart and wicked ways and that makes my life a delight." He caught up her hand and kissed the back of it lightly before he continued.
"However I have never given up the hunt for a woman I am not related to who might challenge my mind! Very few have considered taking up the challenge, though I am not in the best of shape for such a competition of physical wits so I will claim an advantage to even the playing field I think." Her white comment made his eyes dance and he turned lightly with his other hand on the wheel and actually managed to lead the way some, rolling and using her hand as a straightener as he refused to let go like it was a point of honor.
He saw the glances from several young men and waved his head at them as they passed. "For instance those two, if you look ahead in that mirror there you can see them admiring your features from another side. I would wager that if it weren't for the fact I asked you, you could have your choice of entertainment this evening. So as a handicap for me I think your having to ask my permission to go out of arm's reach for the rest of the reception would be an admirable point in your favor." His eyes gleamed at her as he tilted his head at her, wondering what she would say to that.
