- London - Ministry of Magic - 9:30 AM - The Spirit Division was usually a lonely part of the Ministry of Magic, save for the other agents - all fairly quiet as of yet -, and a few ghosts in service to the Ministry that usually kept to themselves. In spite of how lonely the environment seemed to be, David preferred it that way. With the general state of peace and quiet in his office space, work became incredibly easy for him to accomplish. Today happened to be like most other days with a job or two lined up to be taken care of in order of urgency, but there had been something different arranged. As he was informed via enchanted memo, David was to have a tag-along or shadow in the form of an Auror-in-Training by the name of Isabelle Norwood. The memo mentioned that he should take the opportunity to teach whatever he could about his line of work, ghosts, the D.R.C.M.C., and anything else he thought would be worth teaching to one seeking to become an enforcer of the law. After adding a few extra items to his work satchel for the day, David collected the day's work requests and set off for the Ministry's Dining hall where he was to meet the day's shadow. David sat at one of the tables nearest to the entrance of the room so that he could be seen easier for anyone looking for him. As he waited he began to read the latest edition of the Daily Prophet, occasionally scanning the changing crowd. ISABELLE VICTORIA NORWOOD

Isabelle had a different shift today. She for once wasn't going to be at the Auror training. While she liked it there, they had her going to a different Division today. While it wasn't going to be like a auror training it would be rather different. She had a memo that she shouldn't be late for the first course at the Spirit Division. She read about it and she remembered a movie called Ghostbusters. It would like that and she wasn't sure if that was here thing. Yet she was up for it that was for sure.
Isabelle looked at the time as she grabbed 2 cups of coffee. She wasn't going to be late for him that was for sure. She looked at the memo in her hand as she saw the name that she had to go to. David Marcus Rayne. Words has been said that he was the best in hunting Spirits and being a great agent. She walked over to the Ministry of Magic that was not so far from where she lived. Hoping that she would find him at the Dining Hall where they were going to meet. She greeted the few people she knew, as she walked over to the Dining Hall seeing a person sitting with the Daily Prophet. She walked over to him, giving him a cup of coffee. "Morning Mr. Rayne. Isabelle Norwood, right on time. Also some coffee for you sir."She said as she gave a smile to the person that was reading the Daily Prophet.

The bright voice that greeted him caused David to peer up from the Daily Prophet. Suddenly he smiled and let out a single, exhaled chuckle covered by the sound of folding up his paper. " Right on time, indeed! And well met with caffeine... It's nice to meet you, Miss Norwood." David accepted the cup of coffee and stood up from his seat. " Got a little bit of a fun job for us today." David said. " If you'll accompany me we can get there in a minimum of time." With that, He gestured toward the room's entrance/exit and began to walk. Occasionally the Auror-in-Training program sent trainees to his division to learn a better understanding of the world beyond death. David didn't know if it was to show potential Aurors what " life" or at least options there were after death, or if it was more about dealing with rambunctious spirits while working in the field of duty. Either way, the subject of death wasn't always a comfortable one with trainees, and David did his best to engage the topic so that the trainees might not put the subject off in a potential job where every careful action puts off their own death. How would today go? For one thing, David had absolutely no serious idea about what they were going to face when they arrived at their destination. From what information the Ministry had deemed worthy of sharing with him, it sounded like a few ghosts with attachment issues after a residence had changed hands, but even those scenarios could get out of control quickly. David always liked a decent challenge... It was time to see what this trainee had to offer. As they walked, David opened up their day in the same manner he had done many times before. " So, Miss Norwood," he said. "What is your experience along the lines of death? What do you already know?" ISABELLE VICTORIA NORWOOD

At least the start went well. Isabelle Norwood thought as she gave a smile to the man in front of her. "Never be late for the shift and it is nice to meet you too Mr. Rayne."She said as she smiled to him. Belle was happy that Rayne accepted the coffee as she looked at him taking his seat and standing up.
"Well I wonder what it will be."She said as she followed the tall mustache wearing gentleman out of the room and the walk. She heard many aurors in training went to follow a day at the spirit division, but most of them didn't want to stay there. Most of the stories she heard was about dead and that you had to confront dead. While she never thought it was a thing for her, she had to fight this through. It was not easy to discuss the subject of death, but in the end everyone was going to die. Better late then never to learn about it after all.
Something at least was going to happen today. She had a mission. While she didn't know what it was, David Ryne probably knew. The guy was one of the Spirit Division that knew his subject and that is when the questions started to come. "Death is a option that brings the spirit to a rest. While some can leave the world, others can't. If they have a unfinished business to take care of, they become ghosts. Some will haunt for years, and some will find their rest. An example are the ghosts at Hogwarts. They have unfinished business, but some might never finish there life there."She said as she looked at him walking further.
