What would I do Without your smart mouth ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Jon brushed off his robes as he got up from the ground. He had always been an adept flyer, possibly due to his mother being a professional quidditch player and trained him as well, but today he was off. Maybe it was the excitement welling up inside him. The anticipation of seeing the love of his life who he hadn't seen in almost a year. Dear god had it been that long? It seemed more like a century. But nothing in this mortal world could keep him from her. That was why he had made his flight from St. Mungo's, where he assumed she was at first, all the way to her family house. Only thing he wasn't expecting was the harsh landing. But the anticipation out weighed his pain. Amy was only a few steps away. Just beyond those doors that stood not even half a quidditch field away from him. He had missed her so. Letters from owls was never enough for him. He missed the feel of her cheek under his finger tips. He missed her sweet smell, like sunshine bottled with summer. He missed her lips, the softness rivaling that of rose petals. Was it any wonder he loved this woman? To him she was perfection, complete utter perfection. That was why he bought the ringOver the last couple of months, he had some hard thinking on the subject of spending his entire life with her. He used to be scared that he wasn't worth her. That one day she'll find a better man. But that was it. He didn't want her to find someone else. For once in his life he was selfish and wanted her all to himself. She was his one and only. He had to make her his forever. He had to propose. Pulling one of his calming potions from out of his satchel, he downed it in one swig and quickly walked up to the door. His bundle of nerves almost stopped him from knocking, but once he gripped the ring box in his pocket and was sure of his actions once again. He knock. Two heavy knuckles pounding quickly on the wooden door. This was it. No going back. He about to ask her, Amy, the love of his eternity, to be his wife. He took in a breath as the door opened. There was no going back now. "Amy..."

What would I do Without your smart mouth ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Jon held her. Just held her. Just for the moment. He took in her sunshine smell. He clutched his hand in her hair, it was soft. He held every inch his hands could. That moment, that one moment, pure happiness enveloped him completely like the sunshine he believed her to be.
This woman in his arms...Amy...She was his entire life. If any one every tried to say otherwise, they would best leave immediately.
He grabbed cheeks in-between both his hand and wiped away one of her tears away with his thumb. Why was she crying? Was it joy? Was she as excited as he was to finally have each other again? He smiled.
"Hello to you too, My sunshine."
He kissed her forehead gently, lingering, tasting the salt of sweat on her brow. He breathed in deeper and realized she smelt like earth. He laughed. She was in the garden just now. He'd always loved that about her. Even though the could have magic to do the dirty work with, she would always get down and dirty to do things the muggle way. The "simple" way. He pulled away and stared into her eyes. Those big brown eyes that entranced him every single time. Without even thinking, hands still on her cheeks, he pulled her into the most gentlest and sweetest kiss he could do. It was slow at first, lips barely touching, but soon all of her lips were his and he pulled her in. His heart was beating in a million different ways and patterns. It was like a butterfly had let itself loose in there and was fluttering out of control. His fingers tingled at the contact of her cheeks. He almost went numb from complete and utter bliss.
Not wanting to but needing breath, he pulled away, resting his forehead on hers.
"I've missed you so much. I'm so sorry for leaving you behind like this."
He embraced her yet again. Sure leaving for China bettered his knowledge, but his heart wasn't complete in that land. Here, right here, is his completion. And he had better ask before he lost his nerve.
Still embracing her, he whispered in her ear. "Amy...I have a question for you..."

What would I do Without your smart mouth ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Jon broke their embrace but just barely and placed a hand on her cheek. There was so many ways he could possibly confess his undying love for her. But only one would suffice for a moment like this. "Amy...You know to me you're the sunshine to my eternal darkness. Before I ever met you, I was drowning in loneliness because no one could understand what it was like to be me." He kissed her nose and smiled. "The day I met you, I was forever lifted out of the world of darkness and I basked in your light." He backed away trailing his hand down her cheek, her neck, her shoulder, her arm, till finally he grasped her hand. Walking backward and pulling her with him, he continued his speech. "You know I remember our first kiss. I didn't know where I gathered the courage to do such a thing. At that time I never thought in a million years I'd be brave enough to make the first move. Then when you told me you loved me I'm pretty sure we both almost went deaf from my shouts of joy." He laughed for a second. "And that's truly what you are to me, Amy. You are my joy. My sunshine. My everything. Without you I'm lost. During this year away, I felt incomplete. Sure it was to better my understanding of potions and spells to help heal my patients but I ended up needing to be the patient with my heart torn away from you." Jon held her hand in both his as he led her to the garden behind the house. The perfect place for all this. He smiled at her as he took out his wand. Waving it at a patch of empty space a Piano and Cello appeared and started playing a song. The piano first started with it's twinkling of keys as the cello joined in as the verse progressed. The perfect song for his love. "Amy...I truly have died every day waiting to finally ask this of you. I never thought I was deserving of you. Not even for a second. I always felt like I was dragging you down. Pulling you into this darkness that in my disorder. But I realized something while I was away..." Jon pulled out the ring box, clutching it in his hand, making sure she still didn't see it. "Amethyst Leeann Sanders. I can't go another day without making you mine forever..." Jon got down on one knee, finally opening the ring box. "Amy...My Sunshine...My everything...Will you do me the honor in sharing your light and becoming my wife?"
