Attempting to break in (Cordelia)

Walking circles around the statue of Boris the Bewildered was providing no resolution to the problem he was facing. When told he couldn't be some place or allowed around someone Roque felt obligated to do otherwise. So for his entire stay at Hogwarts he had been determined to gain access to the prefect bathroom which was off limits to anyone who wasn't a prefect/head boy or girl or quidditch captain. Instead of just aiming for one of the privileged position Roque was the type to find an unconventional way to handle things. Who else wouldn't be tempted by a large bathtub with an abundance of knobs that filled the tub with an array of liquids. It sounded like heaven to Roque. Every jokster needed a downtime to relax and for Roque he enjoyed soaking in a tub. It was where he did much of his thinking and plotting. The possible insane ideas he could up with there was more than enough to tease him regardless of the rules.

Over the years Roque had attempted to break in many of times but to no avail. He had even tried to bribe those who held the password however, no one would take his bait. He even tried blowing the door open which landed him with a couple months detention and extra work. He could still see the image on the Headmaster's fast when he was caught. The punishment didn't wain his curiosity. He was back at it again, but today he had no plan on how to achieve access. Even the trouble he got to at home couldn't prevent him from wanting to complete his mission. So Roque busied himself with circling the statue until an idea came to him. "I just need to know, I only have another year here before my task would have to be aborted." Roque stated to himself.

Not to many students knowledge, up on the sixth floor just beyond the girls bathrooms - second room to the end of the tower was location to one of the many empty classrooms of Hogwarts school. Cordelia had found the place on one of her strolls around the castle on a particularly rainy day. It was somewhere she liked to sit for her own peace and quiet, and had a particularly lovely view of the mountains just beyond the forest. In the opinion of most people, the Black Lake was the best sight in the school - but this Slytherin was tired of its murky depth and often longed for the lofty views of the scenery beyond. The air was fresher and cleared her head - especially from all this horrible wedding planning of her mothers. Due to Cordelia's fond attitude to art, her mum asked the girl to design a dress for her. When she flat out refused - for something as dull as designing an outfit bored Cordie to her wits end - her mother renegotiated and requested a décor design; the place settings, seating style, general theme. At that she couldn't help but feel more interested, though did not express this to her guardian in too much excitement or she would bound to be dragged into planning it all! Cordelia had been happily sat up in her sixth floor room sketching there for the better part of the evening. Most of the light had gone now, and her glasses were all the way back in her dorm room, so she began her trip back to the common room.

Her footsteps carried her down to the fifth floor and along one of the linked corridors. The torch light threw shadows across the floor and made hers seem twice the size from her normal petite frame. Out of the corner of her eye, another figure crossed her line of vision. At first she rolled her eyes, believing it to be some student doing something random, but slowed her pace when she discovered she recognised the suspicious person. "Talking to yourself is considered the act of a crazy person you know, right after hearing voices that is." Cordelia made her presence known by speaking out to Roque, her voice echoing slightly in the high ceiling passage. She eyed the statue momentarily before giving the older student a smirk, coming to a halt just beside the statue. Nodding to its direction, she grinned, "Are you practising to take his place? 'Bini the Bewildered, we can all be calling you. The boy who wanders in circles and speaks to himself."

The guy with a million ideas might have finally reached his peak. The creative frequency in his brain was not transmitting anything of use. He was growing frustrated with the task he had set for himself since his first year at Hogwarts. At least summer was coming and he would have plenty of time to free his mind and come up with new ideas on how to infiltrate the prefect bathroom. Wrapped up in his own thoughts he didn't hear someone approach him until their voice withdrew him back to reality. A small smirk crept up on his face when Cordelia made a comment about him being crazy. "Only in some contexts am I crazy. However, I haven't answered myself, which is a true sign of instability, so I think I'm alright. At least to mix with the general public." He said looking Cordelia in the eyes. She was a fellow house mate that Roque liked quite a bit. She was a year behind him and something about her just intrigued him. However, they were not on any close speaking terms. He was pretty sure the girl found him a bit annoying to some degree. Roque knew that not too many people could handle him because he never came off serious about anything he was saying unless it was a sake for a joke and he would feign seriousness. He chuckled at the thought of this statue being replaced by him. "Ha! I sort of like that sound of that. It would be sort of ironic though to end up guarding the very place I'm desperately trying to get into." He said letting Cordie know he was attempting to gain access into the prefects' bathroom.
