Helena rarely hung out in the Gryffindor Common Room. She rather sit in the dormitory reading muggle literature books. She did read a few wizarding literature books but most were non-fiction, therefore not that interesting. She had currently been reading Alice in Wonderland. She found it quite interesting for a children’s novel. She liked older books like War of the Worlds, Tale of Two Cities, and Jane Eyre. She would however buy newer muggle books too. But she felt like they lacked something. She had a pile of books in front of her. She was working on Potions, and Transfiguration at the same time. She had forgotten she had homework in those classes. She had been fusing over History of Magic and Charms. She had two months to study. The pressure was always on for her to do well. She really did try her best to make her parents proud of her. She wanted to do really good make up for dropping Herbology. She couldn’t help it that she had a black thumb. Despite of all good of grades she got she knew they would still tell her she had to be more social. She grumble about it and say she would. She always made a fool of herself. She once dumped a bowl of pudding on someone, trying to levitate it. She constantly ran into people. She often pushed her friends too hard trying to help them out. She kept kicking herself in the butt for what happened when she was a fourth year, she lost a good friend because she couldn't just leave them be. She twirled her ponytail as she revised her homework. She didn’t like having errors that were silly. She made enough of those in real life. She had been citing a page in her Transfiguration homework when someone bumped into the couch making it move, which caused her to make a mark with her quill on her book. “Watch it!” she snapped glaring at the two boys that had fallen into the couch. “Boys,” she grumbled under her breath. She went back to her essay, once again. LILY LUNA POTTER

Lily had many friends and she concidered everyone who didnt try to hurt her or her family one of them. So making her way in to the common room with some books she looked at the girl sitting and reading and set her books on the table and went to get some thing to drink. Grabbing a glass of water the girl made her way over to the girl and sat in a chair next to her, setting the glass down on a table and picking up a book from her class she started to read. It wasnt soon before the girl spoke to the boys who rudely plopped down. they rolled there eyes at her and contenued working on what they were working on.
The red head pulled out a small container filled with liquid. "I found this at one of the stores, it helps clear markings on a book. Its like White out but better." The female potter smiled at her. "I'm Lily by the way. I'v seen you in some of my classes, I just never got the chance to say anything to you. Now that we have a bit of time, better late then never." She smiled. The two boys looked up and looked at Lily, Though the girl paid them no attention she was watching her new friend and was not going to give the boys time of day. "How about we study together? or perhaps speak about books?" The girl pointed to Alice in Wonderland. "I'v read that book when I was little, It was one of my favorites."

Helena knew who Lily was. Who didn’t? She however didn’t jump all over it like most people did. She of all people knew what that was like. The main reason she refused to go into the Leaky Cauldron with her dad. She wants to yell at poor third years who don’t know any better than to ask questions. She wouldn’t ask unless told. And she would tell about herself unless asked. It worked out better for everyone. Though it was still awkward either way. She always had felt like people had been judging her on her father’s achievements, though in most cases that wasn’t true.
Helene took the small container. She tried it right away before the ink dried. She raised her eyebrows in surprise as the marking disappeared. “Nice to meet you Lily, suppose I’ve either been off in my own world or talking to friends in different houses,” admitted Helena. She didn’t deny the fact she got along better with different houses then she did her own house. “I suppose we can study if you want, I think most of my life right now is studying. “It’s an interesting book. It’s a bit surprising how one can call it a children’s book but then look at the Tales of Beetle and the Bard,” said Helena “I’m Helena by the way.”

Lily smiled, "Thats compleatly fine. We all get busy." That was true, with her family being attacked and her trying to spend time with Donovan she had lost the ablility to keep in touch with people but she was getting back in to the grove of things. When the girl said she was Helena it hit her. This was the girl she had met a couple of times when they were little and Harry would get together with his friends from school. "It's been a while since we spoke hasnt it." The girl giggled at herself and nodd. "Books can be silly, the brothers grim stories were also quite odd to be children stories as well. Lily knew a bit about some books and always found it fun to read. "What are you doing after school? Like this summer? Perhaps we can get together some time. Aubrey and I were going to plan a summer party." Aubrey was one of Lilys close friends who loved to party. "I'd love for you to come, With all this crazy stuff going on I think something fun is in deed something we all need." The girl smiled.
The two boys looked over and one spoke up. "Can we come to your party lily?" the red head looked at them then smiled. "Only if you say sorry to Helena about the mark you caused in the book. after all it is quite rude." The boys nodded and looked at the girl. "Sorry Helena about your book." both spoke in a mono-toned voice. Lily turned to the girl and mouthed. "Boys." The two then turned back to what they were doing and spoke about the party after all first years were always excited to get invited to parties by the older kids.

Helena really didn’t say much of anything for a while. She felt a bit overwhelmed. There was a big difference with Hufflepuff bubbly and Gryffindor bubbly. She knew Lily had good intention but that didn’t make her feel much better. She did however remember younger Lily. She also remembered hiding behind her father for a good five minutes, no matter if it was the first time they met of the fifth.
“Well, I’ve been applying for summer jobs. I really do love my parents but I don’t like living in a bar,” said Helena. She had just turned seventeen. She had a feeling her parents weren’t happy with her since she got caught completely wasted having a birthday party. Of course, never have been to a party like that she was one of the few that got caught. She knew it was going to be hard for them to let go. But she wanted to try doing on her own. She wanted to show them she could take care of herself.
Helena rolled her eyes at the boys. The sad thing is, they don’t get much better. She was interested in guys no doubt, well none her age. She preferred more mature boys, not talking about men her father’s age, yuck, but older boys. Though her brother might try to kill them all. If her parents knew her boy preference they’d be trying to force her to date boys her own age. They care too much sometimes, she supposed she got it from them after all.
Helena bit her tongue. She wanted to say that books aren’t silly, people are. That would be quite rude so she didn’t. She was sure she was getting one howler as it was. Her mum would care about the whole party thing, her dad probably will. He’ll just be disappointed hopefully and not actually mad. Though Helena had never seen her dad actually mad at her. There’s a first for everything. She hoped she was just being anxious over nothing. She was slightly distracted from Lily. She was always distracted by something.
"I might come. As long as we don’t have aurors or muggle police bursting down the door. I think that might give my parents a heart attacks,” said Helena, “in a light-hearted manner. She couldn’t even image their reactions. Mostly shock she supposed. She had always been the good child, and they’d think she had turned into some sort of monster or something.
