Ginny Potter was no stranger to the fact that she was becoming more and more like her mother with each passing day. It was inevitable. Each passing hour gave her something that not only reminded her of her mother, but also made her extremely thankful and glad that she had a mother as wonderful as Molly Weasley Sr. was. She had a mother who would kill her for (and had done it as well). She could remember her conversation with Neville the other day, he was so thankful for her mother for killing Bellatrix LaStrange. He was thankful that Molly had been so protective of her daughter. Everyone loved her mother, Ginny liked to think that she loved her in a stronger way seeing as she was her only daughter.
That was the main force driving Ginny to the burrow that late afternoon. She had already finished Quidditch practice for the day, which had been slow. She hadn't been doing very much since she announced that she was retiring. She was too old and too slow to play the game anymore. It was time or the legend to give up her spot to a young person who wanted the spot just as bad as she had when she first tried out. She was ready to devote her entire life to her family: to her house and her husband and her children. She was ready to spend more time with her parents and siblings and nieces and nephews. What was the point of having a but family if you only saw them over the holidays? "Anyone home?" Ginny called as she walked into the Burrow empty handed for the first time in a very long time. She hadn't even bothered to make a pie. MOLLY JEAN WEASLEY

Molly cleaned up the house every day. She knew her children and grandchildren all were busy and could not come and visit often but oh how she missed them. She had spent so many years with a full house. A lot of noise, sibling fighting, big dinners, chaos that she loved. Sure she would seem cranky at times with the craziness that came with a big family, but she loved the noise.
Now it had been a good amount of years since the house was filled with noise and fighting and it was lonely to Molly of course. So she found herself cleaning and thinking about her family members and wondering how everyone was, thinking she might sit down and write letters to everyone. Maybe plan a get-together. So when she heard the door and a familiar voice she jumped slightly and rushed over.
"Ginny dear!" she said happily rushing over to hug her daughter. "You startled me!" she said. "But I am so glad you did. How have you been darling, and How are Harry and the kids?" she asked as she ushered her daughter in to sit down at the kitchen table. "Are you hungry?"

Ginny wasn't surprised when her mother rushed out and greeted her, she kissed her mother on the cheek and then sat down at the table when her mother sat her down. This was the usual way that their visits started. They had almost all been like this sine Ginny was 20 and had first married Harry and moved out on her home. Back then, the young couple had come to the Burrow once a week for a weekly dinner with her parents and with any siblings that chose to stop by and got talked into staying for dinner with the rest of them. "Hi mom. It's nice to see you to. And you should be getting used to these visits a lot more often by the way - I've decided it's time for me to retire." Ginny announced. She realized that it sounded odd seeing as she was only 43 years old, but she really was getting to old for the game, her body just wasn't what it used to be. "So I'll probably be around a lot more." She added with a smile. When her mother asked about Harry and the kids, Ginny sighed, "Well Harry's good, he's been working a lot, I imagine you know what that's like seeing as dad used to work all of the time too." Ginny said. "Lily's doing well, she's actually the child I'm least worried about." She told her mother then sighed into her hands, resting her elbows on the table. "James and Albus are still fighting. They still hate each other. And of course, I hate that they don't speak. Albus is so upset, you know? He just wants James to accept him and James just... won't, I guess." It was true, Ginny only knew Albus's side of the story, but until she could convince James to sit down and talk to her about it, it was the only side that she knew. "Nah, I ate before I came over, but tea would be nice." she took her elbows off the table and smiled to her mother.
