David was born into what he believed to be a completely muggle family. A family that lived on a farm and worked hard for what they needed. The oldest in the Brewer family David had always been a little ambitious to do more than what his parents did. Even though he enjoyed farming he didn't want to do that the rest of his life. As a young boy he'd help out with daily chores when he wasn't working on school work. School was fun and he worked hard so he could make something of himself. He joined a football team when he was just tiny and grew a love for sports. He wanted to be well rounded, be able to do anything he could.
They were a happy family for a while. The year that everything changed, well David could remember the exact day to the near exact detail. It was his eleventh birthday. His dad had prepared a gun, he thought maybe he'd be going hunting, doing something fun. His dad had shot a bird that had flew over, well he had taken aim at a few of them. Something had been going on but David was determined to enjoy his birthday. After shooting up into the sky all day they had all sat down for dinner. Dinner turned out to be even stranger than what happened with his dad earlier that day. Hannah, their mother, had stood up and announced to the everyone that she was a witch. It caused for a pause of shock. A witch? They didn't exist did they? Michael had seemed to know what was going on though. David was supposed to be going to this school that taught this magical stuff, turned out Dad had also been a wizard. Quite a lot of explaining, more arguing had followed the boy's worst birthday.
It was Joey who'd actually found the letter after running out of the house during the arguing that had happened. David had argued a lot those few days following. It was his right to attend this school and just because his parents gave up their magical lives didn't mean that he did. In the heat of the moment he didn't really care what happened with his brothers when it came to the ordeal. During the heat of the moment he ran away to Michael's parents who gladly sent their grandchild off to Hogwarts. David had been dwelling on everything that had happened that summer during the school year. He didn't know what awaited him when he got back home.
His first year at Hogwarts was nearly frightening. He had no idea what the magical world was like even if he came from magical folk. Upon arrival he was sorted by this strange talking hat that everyone called the sorting hat. ”Slytherin,” the hat announced. Everyone that he'd met on the train seemed to make the house out to not be the best house to be in. Horror stories had come from that house. Purebloods went into Slytherin, some turned bad. His entire first year was spent trying to figure out the magical world. The world that he belonged in. He pushed himself to earn high marks in each of his classes even if it meant giving up social time. He was focused and extremely ambitious to make himself who he was supposed to be. He didn't care if he was in a house full of purebloods who weren't fans of having halfbloods in their house. He made friends all over school when he wasn't studying. He lost a little of that confidence when he boarded the Hogwarts Express to go back home.
At Kings Cross it was his parents who greeted him, maybe not with the happiest looks on their faces but at least they were there. That summer was spent a little touch and go. He got into some arguments with his parents about it but by the time it was to start his second year he'd made slight peace. It would take time for the stubborn young boy to actually get along with his parents. Ever since though he's had a habit of disobeying, following the things that he's wanted to do. During his third year at Hogwarts he joined the Slytherin house team as a keeper. He really enjoyed the sport. It was just one of the many things he wanted to do. He decided during his fourth year that he would join a professional Quidditch team and then later follow a dream of working an Auror or working with Dragons, or maybe both. Honestly David wanted to do quite a bit with his life. At least he had a start with an idea.
Fifth year was busy, he needed to make sure that he had everything he needed for everything he wanted to do. That year was spent with a lot of studying. He ended up getting the right O.W.L.s to move onto N.E.W.T.s in Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology. He was able to pass all of his N.E.W.T. classes during his seventh year. He wasn't to keen on staying in one place in the world. He wanted to do everything he could.
Upon graduation even though he could have immediately stepped into the Auror program which was where he wanted to be, he got an offering to be on the Wimbourne Wasps as a keeper and took it right away. The first year out of school was spent playing Quidditch and spending time with girls that his family didn't exactly approve of. He was happy and that was what mattered. Most recently he's met a girl who he very much enjoys spending time with and it planning on taking it up to the next level. Something he hasn't quite yet told his family. Things are bound to change though, change rather quickly.
