Celeste was in a superb mood as she walked with her absolute bestie down to the Broomsticks. It had been forever since the pair had gone to terrorize Hogsmeade and it had been one of her favorite past times, past terrorizing the first years. Sadly there were none allowed in the wizarding village and pouted at the thought for a moment and then grinned. D had said they could go kick them around in a few days and the blonde looked forward to it. Celeste held some anger issues, but that was evident. She had a bounce to her step as she trotted along the trail, grinning broadly at Daenerys. She was in the mood to make mischief and hoped it would rub off on her friend.
The wind was gentle but persistent and smelled of sweet spring flowers, which lifted Cel's mood further. “Been too long since we've been here.” She chirpped and kept moving, maneuvering around a log lying in the path and gave it a dirty look. “What, it's been months, right?” She let her brown eyes land on her friend and then smiled again. The wind tugged at her blonde hair, threatening to tug it from it's braid in places and Cel sighed. “I'll have to fix this when we get to the Broomsticks at this rate.” It was grumbled out and the girl shoved a loose piece behind her ear. She looked back to D and gently bumped her arm into the other girl's. “I can't wait, we graduate soon and get to get the hell out of here and then it's like a sleep over every night.” Celeste was excited to live with her best friend after school and truthfully, what girl wouldn't be?
The village came into view and Cel picked up her pace a little out of excitement. “We should go looking for houses one of these weekends, this way we don't have to crash at one of our parent's houses in between getting out of school and finding the place, yeah?” The thought had struck her only a moment ago and she wanted to be sure Daenerys was okay with the idea. “I mean, we could always hunt for a flat as well, but I'd rather own the place than have someone tell me what I can and cannot do in my own place.” Celeste had never done well with authority and had never wanted to live in an apartment and her parents had promised her the money for a house if she graduated. She had made it and now they owed her. They liked Daenerys and knew that they would approve of the pair living together. If only they knew the extent of Celeste's adoration of the other girl, they'd cringe.
She didn't care though, they'd never understand and she'd only tell them if and when something happened between the pair of them. Celeste needed to tell her first and had no inclination to do so at this point. The fear was crushing and she shook her head gently to clear it. She hated over thinking things and she knew it was what she was doing. Shut up and stop it, do you want her to know something is up? that little voice scolded and Cel let the smile pass her face again and watched Daenerys out of the corner of her eye. “I was thinking some place down by Diagon Alley maybe? Or wherever it is you want to live. I would say Hogsmeade, but the place is a little close to the school.” She wrinkled her nose for a moment and the laughed. Like it would be horrible to live in this little village. She had to admit it wouldn't be bad, but she wanted to live closer to the city and all the amazing clothing shops. Retail therapy was something her mother had given her as a kid and it had always been something Celeste had loved, which had not changed over the years. She looked back to D and smiled, waiting to see what her bestie thought.
