Vanessa was tired of hiding from her wicked birth family. She was tired to fearing that at any moment they would take her and hurt those she loved. She was tired of relying on others to protect her. It was time to step out and face those she feared. She was good with a wand. She learned well at Hogwarts. And there was some prophecy about the dark magic users that she was destined to be some great and powerful witch. Maybe she was, but she would be damned if she used her abilities for evil.
If the Black Army wanted a powerful witch, they would get one. Only she would be opposing them, not fighting at their side. And the first thing she needed to do was align herself with the force who specialized in combating the dark forces...
It was time for Vanessa Velmont to join the Order of the Phoenix.
So Vanessa excitedly and nervous awaited some of the other members. She hoped they would accept her and allow her to fight with them. She could no longer do anything else.
