BIGGEST FEAR: Though he'd never admit it to anyone, Quentin's biggest fear are Acromantulas. While he has a sort of fascination with them in wizard movies, Quentin would never want to meet one in person, because of their taste for human flesh. Quentin's fear stems from a terrifying story that his brother told him when he was younger about an encounter he had with an Acromantula that nearly resulted in him being devoured by one.
PERSONALITY: Ambitious - Possibly the most notable trait that Quentin possesses. Whether its in the classroom, or out on the Quidditch Pitch, Quentin always gives his best effort because he holds himself to a certain standard of greatness and refuses to perform poorly. His ambition can be seen in just about everything he does.
Intelligent - Even though he isn't a bookworm, Quentin is still relatively smart. Over the course of the six years he's been a student at Hogwarts, Quentin has collected a nice wealth of knowledge of the subjects he's studied, and even beyond that to say that he isn't only a book smart person.
Arrogant - This can be seen as a common trait among the children of celebrities, and especially when both of your parents a very famous. Though not to be taken in a negative sense, Quentin isn't arrogant to a point where he thinks he's better than any one person, he just holds himself to a high standard.
Charming - Ever since he was young, Quentin has had a way of charming individuals. Usually attributed to his genetics, and honestly being half Veela doesn't hurt, but Quentin has a particular way with the ladies. He's always been a very pleasant person to be around, even for a Slytherin. Though I probably shouldn't mention it, Quentin uses his charm to wiggle his way out of trouble most times when it comes to encounters with female prefects.
Courageous - A trait that is largely identified with by the ebony wood of his wand. Supposedly, it takes a lot of courage for one not to abide by the "laws" of what society says one should behave like. Quentin is absolutely comfortable with his own personality, and doesn't like to be influenced without his own consent. His courage doesn't stem to just his personality, but even in the face of danger, unless it involves an Acromantula or anything quite as dangerous.

MOTHER: Giselle Swift, 41, Actress
FATHER: Elijah Swift, 42, Former Quidditch Player
SIBLINGS: Geoffrey Swift, 21; Chloe Swift, 21
HISTORY: Elijah Swift is an American wizard turned Quidditch player after his graduation from the school. Though he was an amazing player, with Quidditch not being very popular in America, Elijah was traded to an English Quidditch where his talents could properly be displayed. Immediately, his career took off as he quickly became a star Chaser for the Quidditch team. Giselle was a pureblood Veela studying at the Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts and had plans to be a movie star after her education at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. When her movie career began to take off, Giselle and Elijah would happen to meet by chance through a mutual friend at a movie premiere of hers and would immediately hit it off with one another, even without Giselle charming her way into his heart. After dating for a period of five years, Elijah would propose to her and the two were married.
Four years after the couple's first two children was born, Giselle would be expecting a third child, the last to complete their family. Born on the 29th of November, Quentin Manuel Swift was brought into the world at St. Mungo's hospital very early in the morning. The boy was welcomed by a mass crowd of friends, family and even fans of both the acting career Giselle had and even the Quidditch career Elijah had. Owls carrying letters and gifts of congratulations would arrive throughout the entire day, like they had when Giselle had given birth to their first children Chloe and Geoffrey. Though a tad stressful with all of the media attention the couple would receive, it was an incredibly joyous time for them, and were able to bring home their youngest boy that very evening.
As a toddler, Quentin was a very active being, and spent a lot of time following around his older brother Geoffrey if his father wasn't around. Geoffrey would always usher him around on a little toy broom around the house, which would always get quite a kick out of Quentin even though his mom would always advise against it when one of the parents weren't around to supervise them. Needless to say, it was Quentin's manipulation of his brother which would constantly get him to go against his mother's wishes to have his way. Around the age of 5, Quentin would get to go to his first Quidditch game after only hearing them over the radio. His father was playing and by the end of the game, would score a whopping 700 points before the snitch was caught, setting a record across the Quidditch world. That one game had a profound effect on young Quentin, seeing just how many people out there his father brought happiness to just by playing a sport was amazing to him, and inspired the young boy to follow in his father's footsteps in a sense.
At the age of 11, Quentin got his acceptance letter to Hogwarts in the post. Reading it, he almost felt his heart skip a beat knowing that he was going to be able to go to school at Hogwarts with his siblings after hearing SO much about it on a daily basis while they were on summer break. The trip out to Diagon Alley with both of his parents was hectic to say the least. With their level of celebrity, when they arrived, the streets immediately flooded with fans, young and older alike asking for his mother and father's autographs. Luckily, his brother and sister had come along to buy their school supplies for their upcoming year, and would escort him around while his parents were busy with their fans. They would catch up to him after he'd brought his books though, accompanying him when he would go into Ollivander's as well as to buy his own owl. Those were both experiences that need to be told. Stepping into Ollivander's wand shop, the shop keeper inspected the young boy briefly before going away to check out a wand for him. The first two wands rejected Quentin, but as he went to look for the third, a song came on the radio that Quentin absolutely loved to sing. Almost uncontrollably, Quentin began to sing primarily to his mother who had always encouraged him to sing for her, it was then that a wand practically jumped out at Mr. Ollivander from the shelf. A wand made with ebony wood with the core of vocal chords of a Siren which responded eagerly to his voice according to Mr. Ollivander. Upon leaving the wand shop, and walking into Eeylops, Quentin was seemingly attacked by one owl in particular that rested on its perch. Although the bird seemed to be violently attacking him, Quentin still found a sort of affection in its nips and asked to buy it anyway. He named him Bull for the bully tactics the bird used to gain access into his heart.
After the first ride on the Hogwarts Express and the journey up to the steps of the castle, came time for the sorting ceremony to take place. There was a great nervousness in his system, intimidated by the large crowd of students in the great hall, let alone the sheer size of the school itself. When his name was called by Headmistress McGonagall, Quentin sat on the chair and awaited the Sorting Hat's decision. It only took nearly 10 seconds for the hat to decide on Slytherin House for Quentin, focusing particularly on his ambition and thirst for greatness like his parents, which identified greatly with Slytherin house. Joining his house with the other first years, Quentin and the rest of the school enjoyed the opening feast thoroughly before being sent off to their house to end the night.
The next few years of schooling went by relatively fast looking back on them, and Quentin has learned so much over the course of the past six years that its become hard to imagine that he's in his final year. From learning the basics of flying in his first year, to spells he would've never thought possible to perform himself. He's successfully passed his O.W.Ls and has taken NEWT courses in the majority of his studies. In his 3rd year, he became a member of the Slytherin house team, playing Chaser position to follow in the footsteps of his father. Currently in the final year of schooling, Quentin is eager to learn everything he can before he makes moves to go about his career.
