PERSONALITY:
SINCERE + You could say Savannah is a pretty sincere person when it comes to most things. She doesn't have enough backbone to tell you everything that she feels, but she refuses to spout lies. It's a hard trait to come by at times. She has it though.
DREAMER + Oh man does she have dreams. Savannah could go on and on about the things she wishes she could do, the ideas that she has. To go exploring, to have a crazy adventure. Travel the world. If only, if only. She's very creative too, very crafty, and can think in ways most people can't. Savannah loves creating, inventing, and experimenting.
INTELLIGENT + Although she doesn't have the grades typical of a Ravenclaw, Savannah is actually very smart, and can figure things out and put pieces together rather quickly. She is aware of her surroundings, and has an almost photographic memory. She tends to notice the small details.
FREEDOM + Savannah is a free spirit. She likes to spread her wings and fly, and any time she can’t, she feels like she is underwater without any air. Being caged is something that she absolutely does not like, and she will do anything to break free.
WRY + She'd like to say that she has moments where she is cleverly and often ironically, or grimly, humorous. Sure, it's usually only with her friends or people she's close to, but she'll let a bit of dry humor slip now and again.
GENEROUS + Savannah likes to give, she likes to share. Often times she feels like it is up to her to take care of others. She is always willing to help, and every now and then it can become a real burden. But because of her selfless nature, she is willing to do it regardless.
RESTLESS - Savannah has a hard time sitting still. She always has to be doing something. In class, when she's forced to sit in a desk for an hour straight, she shakes her knee, or taps the desk with her nails, braids and un-braids her hair, maybe fiddles with her wand. Outside of class, she is always moving, rarely found sitting down doing nothing. She spends lots of free time engaging in arts such as drawing or cooking, and she adores dancing. These things keep her in motion, but more importantly sane.
SELF ESTEEM - I suppose you could deduce this by the way she stands, questioning herself. She's never been overly confident, but boy does she wish she was. She has such dreams of adventure... and yet she could never act on them because of her constant doubt. Do you know how it feels to question if your pleasing everybody everyday? To wonder if your good enough, or if you ever will be. Well it's not fun. And yet she can't seem to break this habit. As a perfectionist, this is doubly hard on her.
HOPELESS ROMANTIC - Savannah has this secret romantic heart. It sends her soaring when she watches those dumb romantic comedies or if a guy were to do something like send her a bouquet of roses. Now that is where she could live, daydreaming forever. Of course nobody knows that calm and collected Savannah has such a passionate heart. And that's the way she'll keep it. What a weakness to show people... they'll laugh.
OPENING UP - She has a bit of a trust issue. She knows that people can lie, and hurt others, and in the long run be complete assholes. So she tries her best to step back and try to get to know a person before she tells them about her and add them into her life. This is probably why she doesn't have a ton of friends, people are wrapped up in fast, go go go, and she's still figuring out if she can trust you.
TEMPER - You didn't expect to see this one here did you? Quiet, sweet Savannah with a... temper? Yes. It takes someone and their rude manners or perhaps a person's personality that does not sit right with her, but here are certain things that make her wan't to snap. Usually she'll keep it bottled up until there is one encounter where she blows up in their face. But she tries not to let it get that far.

MOTHER: Lucinda Martin, 40
FATHER: Finn Martin, 42
SIBLINGS:
Frances Martin, 20
Lionel Martin, 19
Jacqueline, 10
HISTORY:
Savannah was born on a warm June day to loving parents, Finn and Lucinda Martin, in the Scottish countryside. Her father, a wizard and world traveler from Scotland, met her mother 22 years ago while taking an excursion through West Africa. She was an Americo-Liberian witch from the cultural hub that is Monrovia, and while the two were young, they instantly fell in love. You could say it was magical. He asked her to marry him hardly six months afterward.
Lucinda joined Finn as he embarked on a series of travels to Spain, Greece, China, Russia, Israel, and countless other places. She wanted to see the world, and he wanted to show it to her. It wasn't long before Lucinda became pregnant with Savannah's older sister, Frances. Deciding it would be best to settle down, they moved back to Finn's hometown in Scotland where they began raising their family.
Savannah's parents were caring, attentive, and everything she could have hoped for. Her mother studied to become a doctor while her father still traveled. She had an older sister, an older brother, and one sugar sweet little sister, Jacqueline. Despite the fact that she didn't have a whole lot growing up, with her mother's work they started to gain wealth as the years passed. Savannah never had one of those tortured childhood with no mother and a father or vice versa. She was actually was a bit sheltered and knew her mother and father loved each other more than anything. They went through so much together, how could they not?
As she got older, Savannah's parents paid for private tutors to do her schooling. It wasn't that they were entirely prejudiced against muggles, but they were always wary, and as pureblood wizards, one could say it was a little difficult not to feel a bit superior. Savannah tries not to get into this frame of mind, but somethings can't be helped. She would never treat someone differently for being muggleborn, but it was just how she was conditioned.
Her early life wasn't too exciting. As one of the middle children, she was hardly ever in the spotlight. Her sister was outgoing and the guys loved her, she was gorgeous after all. Her brother was charming, if not a total goof-ball. She loved them to death, and so did everyone else at school. Savannah herself was an awkward child, so she would prefer to skip those years. She was never all that social and preferred to stay inside and mix things up in the kitchen. Dance and food had always been her passions, as odd as that combination is.
She certainly had her tough times her first three years at Hogwarts. Academically, Savannah was gifted, but her inability to focus and complete assignments on time caused her grades to suffer. Her fellow Ravenclaws scrutinized her for it, wondering if the Sorting Hat had it all wrong. It upset her to think she wasn't good enough. All Savannah ever wanted to do was please others. She wasn't a stranger to bullying either. She didn't really enjoy going out and listening to the girls gossip about this person or that. To her, it wasn't right. She did have one absolute best friend though. They met upon being sorted into Ravenclaw their first year and stuck together since. She thought he was awesome. The two talked about everything together and were practically inseparable. They were best friends after all. That's right - were. Once they reached their fourth year, they drifted apart. She still sees him around and everything, but he doesn't want to hang out with her ever. It's depressing really. He hurt her more than she'd let him know, but that's what a childhood best friend does to you nowadays. It left her with plenty of trust issues.
The last few years at school carried on similarly. People came and went, but here Savannah is, at her seventh year of Hogwarts. She's come so far, struggling to find out who she is, and now all she wants to do is make it count for something.
