PERSONALITY:
Loyal: Ryan tends to stick with his friends to the end, even if it means having to fight, so be it.
Quiet: Ryan has been a quiet child since he was little. This has to do with the constant feared looks he received from his hometown by those who knew his father. He found it easier to stay quiet than to argue.
Shy: Although Ryan loves to meet new people, he tends to hang back and will barely utter words when spoken to. Once again this comes from his past.
A bit of a Bookworm: Ryan loves to read, he often rereads his potions book when hes not doing anything. He can almost recite it word for word.
Athletic: Ryan keeps himself active as much as possible. He hopes to join the Quidditch team this year, being a proactive flyer.

HISTORY: Ryan was born in Bernsdof, Germany. Being born of a mortal witch mother, and a full blooded vampire, Ryan is considered a Dhampir or Half vampire. This means that he can traverse through the sun without a problem, he has greater than average strength and speed, and he can still eat regular foods but can also gain sustenance from from drinking blood. He cannot, however, create anyone into a vampire.
Growing up, Ryan took to being called by his last name rather than his first. This would later be regretted, after all, it was his father's name as well. His father was an infamous vampire, known for killing hundreds and openly supporting any and all dark art users as though they were his own allies. It wasn't until Ryan's father had finally been taken down by an Auror that him and his mother had moved to London to make a new name for themselves. His mother took back her Maiden name, who also changed Ryan's name. This wouldn't last long, however, as Ryan decided not to forsake the name he was born with. Baring it with pride.
Soon enough, young Ryan came to age and received his letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Ryan couldn't be any more excited. His mother, also eager for Ryan to take up magic. She had hoped that he was just as talented as her, being an excellent potion maker. Though she couldn't be considered a master, she could still whip up a potion without much troubles. Ryan still prefers to be called Stein rather than his first name, but can sometimes fail to ask others to call him by his last name because of his tendency of being quietly shy. And as for his schooling, Ryan has definitely enjoyed being in potions and hopes to pursue a career as an Auror that could involve potions some how. Ryan has also taken a liking to watching Quidditch, never able to watch it while in Germany. It had quickly became his favorite sport and has worked as much as he could to become part of one of the school's teams.
