BIGGEST FEAR: Telling the truth to his father that he never became captian of his house team.
PERSONALITY:
* Adventurous: Jer loves adventures, even when he was a wee kid. Nothing could stop this kid from walking into danger, the reason for this is because when people say it's dangerous, that's his cue to explore. Jer is too curious about anything and anywhere. This trait does get him in trouble quite often, and he may get detention occasionally. He has learned a lesson from this and can usually control his impulsive nature of exploring.
* Creative: This doesn't necessarily apply to artistically, but is does apply to other topics that are centered around arts. Musically, he is very creative. He could put down a beat in seconds and will add on without even thinking. Though, he prefers to dabble on his guitar. Next, in a way, he is romantically creative. Most guys wouldn't put the effort into setting up a date but, Jer is special. He tries to connect it to the memories they have spent with each other.
* Determined: Ambitious, competitive, and confident. Jer takes pride in these traits. He is always determined to win fairly, and can overreact at the slightest chance of cheating. His ambition drives him forward and lets him advance through many obstacles in life. But, his confidence hasn't been as strong lately since he hit his fifth year in Hogwarts. When he had to lie to his father about earning captain. Besides that, compared to other students, his family has put a high expectation for Jer to live up too.
* Socially awkward: Jer is a total lady killer. Literally. He can't flirt, has nothing in common, and can’t start a conversation. The furthest he has gotten in a conversation was saying a simple "hello", and having an awkward silence pause as he thought of what to say next. Most of the things that come out of this kid's mouth are jibber-jabber to people. If you're feeling sick, Jer will probably name many diseases that your symptoms apply to and the possibilities of having this disease.
* Intelligent: The power of the mind has a price. He may be smart but, this can lead to being cocky. Independent, and not to mention selfish. He has a way of bragging his marks to another student by accident and he may not even know it. That's the problem with being intelligent. You don't know your an ass until someone says it.

MOTHER: Morag McLaggen (nee McDougal) - muggle - doctor
FATHER: Cormac McLaggen - wizard - retired pro quidditch player - coach for quidditch team
SIBLINGS: -- -- McLaggen (female, sixth, gryffindor)
HISTORY: Born on the first of May, Jeremy was the first child and son of Cormac and Morag McLaggen. Spoiled and a cry baby, they stepped aside and asked themselves if they wanted another child. It didn't take long to answer that question because, a year later popped out his baby sister, -- -- McLaggen. By then, Jer was about one year old and he hated how his sister got all the attention. Once the two started talking, all Jermey could say was, "I hate you."
That hatred continued until he was five. When his parents got fed up with his attitude. They knew the reason why he was like that, so they decided to give him the attention he deserved. It was near April when his father played in the semifinals of the Quidditch World Cup series. Cormac knew that his son wanted attention, so, he gave him the world's attention. His son had to sing the national anthem in front of millions of people. At the start, he wasn't that bad. When it came near the end, he had forgotten a line. Jeremy knew what the line was but, nothing could come out of his mouth. An awkward silence had filled the arena as everyone's eyes stared down at him. Cormac looked at his son, geasuting to go on but, his voice was still gone. It was a lesson learned that too much attention was bad for the voice. Not the initial lesson that was supposed to be achieved but, it was close enough. Jeremy had never asked for anymore attention or anything again. Until....
He asked for a bike, a broom, a better sister, and most importantly, a guitar. This was when his career started. He took guitar lessons and his father taught him how to ride a bike and ride a broom. Most of his influence was centered around flying and music. To ask for a better sister was a wish that couldn't come true. Either way, he did get what he wanted sometimes but, was always haunted by the humiliating memory. Furthermore, Jeremy has convinced himself that if he plays his guitar, in front of a crowd, he will lose his voice. He polishes his guitar skills and improves his vocal range capability but, he will never perform in front of people. Never. As for flying, he had already gotten his father's attention with how well he could fly. And from that day, Jeremy had promised his dad that he would become a quidditch player, just like him.
After one practice day, his father came back in a wheelchair. Of course, he had to assure everyone that he was fine and he would only be in a wheelchair for a couple of weeks. A couple of weeks became months, and finally years. Once Jeremy hit ten, his father had been in a wheelchair for nearly three years. That accident had shattered his tailbone, and he had lost the feeling in his legs. Jeremy took a bit of medical studies from his mother and had told her that he would fix it. Then he learned that nothing could be done. From that day, all Jeremy wanted to do was to make his father proud. To show him that he could become a great quidditch player and live up to his legacy. He had promised his father that he would become quidditch captain of his house.
Once he got his acceptance letter to Hogwarts, Jeremy was thrilled. He had bragged to his sister and to his whole family about how he is going to become the best wizard out there. Once on the train, he made some amazing friends and as soon as the sorting hat was placed on his head, he was immediately sorted into ravenclaw. Without a doubt. As the years went by, Jeremy had tried to be own the quidditch team. In his third year, he finally made the cut and was put as chaser. Once his fifth year rolled around, the other quidditch captain had graduated and someone needed to pick the new honorary captain. The choice was between him, and another student. They had a test, then a race, and finally a vote. Everything had been alright but, the student got the upperhand.
Now, Jeremy constantly lies to his father about being quidditch captain. He hasn’t told his father the truth and it’s kept a secret. His sister is the only one that knows about this lie and has kept it a secret since her fourth year. Jeremy isn’t sure if he is able to face the truth and disappoint his father. After two years, and getting praised by him, seeing the joy on his face. Jeremy is torn between two sides. Disappoint his father, or keep his father content. Right about now, he has chosen to keep his father content, and that’s what he plans on doing for the rest of his life.
