physical description; Basics would give Jordy standing five, ten. The chart might read two forty-five. Hair color would be black. Eye color would be bright blue. But, who sees charts when appearances are given? Not I. Jordy is a typical sixteen-year-old male from Scotland. He is muscular from working the fields with his family while away from school. His arms are longer than his frame might suggest, but he is not lanky. He doesn't have time to really work out, so his body type is strictly from his work on his family's farm rolling hay, feeding cattle, and plowing when his father allows him time away from his studies. However, Jordan is always clean. Not a germ-o-phobe, Jordy dislikes being dirty. He takes two baths a day, when he can find the time!
He loves his hair long though. Mostly because it gains him the ability to watch people from behind long bangs when he is pretending to read. His hair is usually wavy, and might appear to be the only unkempt part of his anatomy. His dark, dark brown eyes seem to glisten from under his hair. He has flecks of gray in his light blue orbs. His lips are usually seen in a smirk, with the look of being "up to something" normally painting his features. Jordy loves Muggle clothing, and has a deep trunk of collected t-shirts from bands he might never even listen to. It is one of his quirks.
patronus; barn owl, resting in the barn on a cool summer night while reading one of his favorite muggle novels.
boggart; Coffin! Nope, Jordy isn't afraid of death, dying, or decay. He isn't going to run away at the sight of a vampire, or mention of a Halloween date. Instead, this clever lad is not too fond of enclosed spaces! A coffin would be one of the most enclosed spaces he could imagine
veritaserum; Jordy has a crush, and no she has no clue whatsoever that the lad even knows who she is!
erised; Jordy fancies himself a writer. He would love to travel and write travel guides for other wizards as he chronicles his journey across the muggle globe!
overall personality; Jordan is smart. No, I mean he is really, really smart. The thing is, no one really knows about it. Sure, he's a Ravenclaw
Being intelligent on his level means that he doesn't study. While others are busy reading and doing homework, Jordy is mostly left to his own devices which means that he is wandering the halls of the great school. His sense of direction, therefore, is top notch. He can get around the castle as a fifth year better than the most unruly of seventh year Slytherins. It might be in his natures since his family has a large holding in Scotland. He just never gets lost, that's all there is to it.
Just like everyone, Jordan can have a bad day. He doesn't particularly like being bored, and can create problems if left alone for too long. He can be happy, sad, mad, hungry, or silent just like anyone else his age. He never goes out of his way to be rude, even if he is severely snarky when he is bored. He can get on well with just about anyone, though bullies tend to upset him. He doesn't tolerate a bully and has held his own fair amount of detentions due to coming to the aid of someone who couldn't protect themselves.

overall history; The Dewitt Clan is an old wizarding family from Scotland with roots in England and Africa. Jordan was born in Scotland, and grew until the age of ten with his family on the herb farm his father keeps. While his mother filled in for the Charms Professor (Jordy's first year at Hogwart's) Jordan lives with his grandfather in England. The retired bookkeeper took on Jordan so the child could finish his schooling at his mother's school. Before Jordan was accepted into Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he was a free running child on the hills of Scotland. He played mostly with the animals on the farm while his father worked or traded the various herbs the family provided for the wizarding world. Jordan didn't pay much attention to the family business, having no interest in plants alone, he mostly played with the cattle that his father used for compost purposes.
That is until Jordan, age five, picked the lock into his father's study and found the family library. Books were not unknown to him, but these books were. In fact, he had never seen the room until that morning when he was suppose to be tucked into bed with the flu -an excuse he used to get out of chores on more than one spring morning. He spent hours in the library while his mother watched him from the other room. Of course, Jordy had learned to read at an early age so most the words were not foreign to him. He enjoyed books that told about far away places, and tales of people like Merlin, King Arther, and the soldiers of the round furniture (shut up, you know the story didn't go exactly like that!) In exchange for a completed list of chores his parents would allow him two books a day. Within the next three years Jordan had read the entire library and half his father's farm records. (Only half because we all know farm records would have to be as dull as a pencil with no led!)
Where were we? Oh yes, first year, England, grandfather, school. Don't we all pretty much know how that story goes? Letter to Hogwart's, first trip to get books, magical experiences on the train, flying for the first time, classes? Nothing especially uncommon happened to our young Jordan, other than the typical life a student of such a school might experience. He made friends, found himself to be an enemy, had a crush on the most adorable girl ever (at least in the eyes of the Ravenclaw student.) He had favorites classes. He had classes he'd try to skip. He found the school library to be one of his favorite places, and he was mesmerized by the Lake and the Giant Squid rumored to live therein. He smiled tons, and even cried once or twice. All told, Jordan started to grow up, form his own opinions, and his own goals.
He was older than most children in his year due to his winter birthday. He was ten-and-a-half when he started Hogwart's. This didn't play too much in the scheme of things, even when he felt a little older than his peers. He often finished his work early and enjoyed helping others. He fancied himself a teacher, then decided that staying in one place too long wouldn't suit his roaming nature. Magic was the center of his life. Learning new things made him excited. Nothing at all got his blood pumping more than the thought of travel and writing about the things he has seen. He knew what he wanted to be when he grew-up, now all he had to do is survive the next two years of school...
