Tylor Layne Casyn was born into the average muggle family. As a baby Ty's parents watched over him. He was raised with a careful hand one that made him want to be a very outgoing person as a child. He got into the normal mischief that any child would. Toddling around he got into things. Upon a first look one would think a dog lived in the house. There had been time when his mother had thrown away in what Ty's mind was perfectly good food and he went trash digging. He was two when that happened and he swear the trash had fallen all by itself and the biscuits were just lying on the top so he toddled over and took the cookie. His mother caught him before he could eat the cookie but nonetheless he got in trouble for knocking over the trash. He also had a particular fondness of eating pretty much anything that could enter his mouth, whether it be dirt or grass or even worms. He was a strange little boy who liked to do what he could to get into trouble. His mother had home schooled him when he was a kid so he never really got the social interactions that he could have had as a kid. He didn't know what was normal and even though at home where he was comfortable he could easily be a crazy, goofy person, he was a quiet human being outside the home. Around strangers he'd never really been able to be that outgoing person that he actually was.
As a kid he really took in what his mom taught him. Everything was made easy for him. He barely had exposure to even television, but he loved the radio. He loved music something about it just made everything easier. It was easy to think about things, easy to study and easy to just go mindless. He felt out of place when he was in public. As he got older and learned more he grew a little more closed up.
And then there was the summer after he turned eleven years old. A few months after his birthday that was celebrated with his family only a letter came. Not your normal letter this one had a courier who went on to explain exactly what the letter meant and how to go about going to this school that this person was telling him about. He was told that this courier sitting across from him in their living room was a professor for this school. It was a school of magic, a place where he could learn to be a wizard. He'd been born with magic and that was probably the reason for the unexplainable things that happened in his childhood. Ty didn't know what to think. While he felt like the normal kid he was now this person who had magic and was supposed to go off to school for it. He'd never been to school, let alone have any friends that he would know or anything. People would think about him as weird. The professor told them how to get to Diagon Alley, a wizarding shopping area where they could buy all of his school materials.
The shopping trip to Diagon Alley was strange. The man had told them to first go to a place called Gringotts where they could exchange their British money for these bronze, silver and gold coins. The weird looking man, who he later discovered was a goblin, called them knuts, sickles and galleons. Then the list came out they walked around for hours trying to get Ty everything he needed for school. A cauldron, some black robes, and the most curious, a wand. They walked into a small shop that had boxes lining just about every shelf and the man at the counter gave him a few to wave around. It was shocking to see things explode or do nothing at all. Finally an Aspen wand, as the man said, picked him. It felt good in his hand and his parents paid the money for it before they went off to do more shopping. And then he could have a pet. The list stated the pets you could have and he looked around. He found a cat that was beautiful, silvery grey with black and white stripes, eyes bright yellow. He was so happy and when he got the cat he named it Mau.
Then a few days passed and it was time to go off to Hogwarts. The professor had told them about how to get to the train platform. It was most curious running through a wall to another side. Quite terrifying. They made it through though and this magnificent red and black train sat awaiting for students to board. People were giving hugs goodbye and that was what Ty did. He hugged his dad and then his mom before boarding that train that whisked him away to school. The train ride was long and Ty for the most part read some of the books for school trying to learn as much as he could and ignoring the other people around him.
It was after they got to school and were lined up in this massive room to be sorted into a house that he was a little nervous. What if this person who was going to choose him to go to a house didn't want him at the school? Would they send him home? But his turn came and he was sorted into Gryffindor, later he was explained about what the house was about. And in his dormitory a kid who would become his best friend. Who would have known that he'd be able to make friends. The kid Marvin seemed to understand where he'd come from but still knew plenty of the wizarding world. He still wasn't all that sure about this magic place though.
During most of his school years he'd focused on his studies but with his two best friends he was himself. The naturally goofy kid who liked a little bit of mischief. Summers and holidays were spent at home and he always made sure to invite his friends. Scarlett (using her name to describe her for now) spent summers with him or Marvin. He'd been glad he'd met her. Both Marvin and Scarlett were such strong people and really helped make him who he was now. He made good marks in a lot of his classes and learned from the beginning he wanted to be an Auror. He was going to be fighting wizarding crime one day. He was so happy when he made the marks in both his O.W.L.s and his N.E.W.T.s and once he left Hogwarts, well he could be an Auror.
Once he left Hogwarts he enrolled immediately into the Auror training program at the ministry and not too long from then he was an Auror. He made sure to keep in touch with his friends still asking any questions he could from them. He tends to still not understand a few things around the wizarding world and never wants to be fooled. Even if he was the studier that he'd always been he still knows there's lots that he doesn't know and wants to make sure he goes about it in the right way.
After the attack on the University he took things a lot more seriously and knew it was time to stand up for what he believed in. While his two best friends were off teaching at Hogwarts he was keeping in touch as much as possible. He didn't want anything to happen at Hogwarts and him not be there to defend. That was an absolute. Now he's still working hard on everything going on and trying to get what information he can. He likes to visit down in Hogsmeade with his friends often for a drink or two and makes sure to keep in touch with his family as much as possible.
