PERSONALITY:
Describing Kai can be done in one word, odd. She grew up in a pretty sheltered life and was basically spoiled. Kai doesn't act completely spoiled, she does have some humility and generosity in herself, but Kai was never told no. Since she didn't get out a lot, she didn't learn very many social skills. She likes to be loud and state her opinion. She will usually get in your face and cross lines when it comes to private stuff. She understands fully sarcasm but finds loads of entertainment in playing dumb. Kai loves being the dumb blonde. You see her in class and her marks and you think Ravenclaw but when you speak to her, you think clueless and a bit dim witted. She is a total goofball and is very childish. She hates being serious and just wants to live. But when push comes to shove, Kai will step up. She is natural born leader and is brave, not reckless. She will think out her tactics and move on. Now sometimes her plan is to go with her gut, but she isn't going in blind. She definitely doesn't know how to act with a boy. She'll act like herself. She can't flirt, and if she does, well she is quarky and embarrassing.

HISTORY:
Kai grew up in glamor. Both her parents are professional Quidditch players. Everyone knew her name if they paid attention to Quidditch. Most of the time she was with her nanny Cameron, a squid who was actually a good friend of the family's/ He basically took care of her majority of her life. Her parents were around, but usually only for dinner or important events, like Kai's quidditch games. Oh that's right, Kai has been playing quidditch since she could stand. The magical community has a miniature set up for children to get involved. Oliver and Alici threw her right on in, especially since she showed amazing talent at being a keeper. Kai was is said to be the next big thing for quidditch once she was done with school. Which is what she is being pushed onto, but she doesn't really care about. She was about ten when she figured out she didn't care much about her parents expectations. It was boring for her and she felt more exhausted than anything to be the best.
So her first year, it was a great year, She had a whole year to sit on out of the sport and she loved it. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, no surprise there, but found trouble fitting in. Everyone basically expected one thing and Kai seemed to be the opposite. She was a true child. She didn't care about being serious or really learning much, though her marks never showed it. She was just amazed at being in an eviroment filled with people. She spent a lot of her life cooped up and now, well, she doens't really know how to deal with it. First year came and went, and in brought her second year. She tried out for Quidditch, there was no way around it, and got the spot. She wasn't a small kid, she always had been tall and it gave her an advantage in protecting the goals. No captain could push that away. Kai wasn't too happy about that but she lived with it.
No what Kai was actually interested in was Magical History. She loved learning about something other than quidditch. It was all interesting to her. She also found a knack for potions, she was good at it and it made up for her lousy wand work. As for her social skills, they did not get any better. She just sort of gave up on trying to be like the others around her third year. She actually ended up as a total tomboy and known to be the odd ball. She played the ditz card well, but did not learn anything about boys. She just sees them as people and doesn't really care about romance. Still doesn't actually, she is a bit confused on what she wanted or liked. Her OWLS were abover averaged and in her sixth year, she gave up Quidditch, told her parents and well, sent Kai a howler the day they were supposed to recieve her letter saying she made captain or at least made the team. Then she moved onto her seventh year, still no Quidditch and finally picked out what she was going to do after Hogwarts.
Using her trust fund wisely, Kai left home and travelled. She was in love with history and decided to travel around and learn a bit more. She actually travelled pretty far in the last two years. She covered a lot of places before she finally missed her home.
Kai has returned. She got a morning job at the local book store in Diagon Alley and a second job, afternoon job at the Three Broomsticks. She spends a lot of her time reading and avoiding questions about her life and the fact that she is a Wood and not playing quidditch. Actually the fact that she was the prodigy of Oliver and Alicia Wood and wasn’t in the big leagues and instead work two mundane jobs. Kai could actually live off her parents, but she refuses to. She actually is enjoying her life. Her first job gives her some knowledge and a chance to be with books while her second job brought interesting people into her life. She even got her own studio and began writing, poetry and short stories, just to pass the time some days.
