Tess was making sure the muggle section was all stalked for her friend Philos next visit. He was a muggle historian and adored her little shop, he came along every once in a while and made it clear that he would be coming sometimes this week. Tess had just finished putting the last book into place when suddenly her ceiling came crashing down and she whipped around to see a man pulling his arm away from his mouth. Blood trickled down his pale skin, and Tess took a few slow steps toward him. She sighed, and looked towards the ceiling, "That's a shame. At least it's an easy fix, but you..." she looked down at the gentleman that had landed on the floor, "you on the other hand are going to be a little harder to fix." She pulled out her wand, reading for anything. She had no idea who this man was, but she was going to give him the benefit of the doubt, to start.
She knelt down beside him and reached a hand out to his face, as she did so he let out a shaky breath, "the rug though... I might as you to replace it. I don't really like blood on my rugs." Tess smiled as she placed an arm underneath his neck, she slowly lifted him to a sitting position and positioned him onto her knee so that she could hold him up and still see his face. "Are you all right?" she asked calmly. This was the wizarding world. Things like people crashing through the ceiling happened often, Tess was sure. That's why she was acting so casual. Not too mention, being a werewolf, she'd seen her fair share of blood so it didn't bother her that much.

He groaned again and Tess sighed, "All right, all right. Take your time getting up now, sir." She spoke gently as he used her free hand to help push some of the hair off of his clammy forehead. Tess chuckled a little as he swore a little, she assumed it was because of the blood trickling down his arm. It was no doubt a vampire bite, but she was confused as to why he was so surprised. He had done it himself, hadn't he? She wasn't going to judge him for the way he was acting, even though she thought it a little strange. She reached for her wand that she had set on the floor nearby and flicked it at the door and windows, causing curtains to come down and block the view from anyone who happened to be passing by the shop tonight. No need to start a big commotion. Not with a vampire and a werewolf sitting around in a pile of rubble.
Tess pulled back, a little shocked, as he spat on his arm. She wasn't expecting that, but the wound started to heal quickly afterward. She raised an eyebrow, now that was something she didn't know vampires had up their sleeves. What a useful skill. He finally answered her question in a painstaking way, Tess felt bad for making him speak in the first place. But, when his body started to in her arms, she knew he was starting to feel a little bit better. This relieved her, as she wasn't that great at healing spells. She shook her head and laughed reassuringly, "I'm perfectly well. My ceiling however, not so much. But I can fix it."
She straightened him a little more as he took a few slow, deep breaths and waited a moment before speaking again, "although, if you had tried to hurt me it would have been quiet the fight." She laughed softly again. She had never fought a vampire, but she wasn't planning on putting it her list of weekend activities. She was sure he would be grateful that they didn't fight either. With her wand in one hand she took the opportunity to help him out the best she could and summoned a glass of water fro the counter. She placed it close to his lips but didn't tip it quite yet.
"Are you thirsty? I also have some couches in the back we can head there once you feel up to it," she tried to speak slowly and softly, as to not shock in or scare him at all. She knew that sometimes she could be a little frightening when excitable. Well, she probably wouldn't be scary to a vampire at all. That was a relief.

Tess laughed even more as he promised to fix the roof, "I think I made it perfectly clear that I can fix it. You just try and relax." She spoke firmly, as she often did when she was caring for someone. She felt bad for this vampire, though she wouldn't say that out loud. When he fell back on the floor she held back a smile. It must have been a new vampire or something, considering how uncomfortable he was in his own body. Or maybe he just didn't suck blood very often. She wasn't sure why he would suck his own blood, that was a little strange.
As she was bent down beside him she chuckled as he asked for her forgiveness. She set her wand down and reached forward and brushed some of the dust off his face, "forgiven, no harm done." She said softly as she continued to give him water and brush some dust out of his hair. As he all but jugged the entire glass, she pulled it away and set it on the floor beside him. "You're just filthy. And I don't mean the blood sucking part," she smiled at him as he looked around the room once more.
She breathed in through her teeth as he spoke about his legs hurting. When he suggested he needed help he mentally facepalmed herself, "I'm always thinking like a muggle. I could just levitate you over there, if you don't mind looking like a flying bag of dust, that is." She smiled but didn't laugh. The joke wasn't that funny. When he said the name of her bookstore she smiled even wider. "I'm honored that you know of my little store. You are correct," she gestured to the room with one hand and used the other to lift the glass of water once more toward him.
