Audrey had been in the apartment above the shop all night. Between trying new ice-cream and the possibility to adding more deserts to the menu and doing bookkeeping she was slowly loose her mind. She had done a pretty good job manage the household finances and keeping up with what went where and how much was coming in. She was trying to juggle household finances with the shop finances. She threw her inventory book to the other side of room in frustration. How do you lose a whole freaking shipment of ice-cream? She knew she had gotten the shipment but it wasn’t adding up to the amount of income she had. She wanted to just give up and sell the stupid shop. But she was too darn stubborn for that. “Accio,” casted Audrey picking her wand up off the table and flicking it. The book came flying back into Audrey’s hand. She took a deep breath and started all over again. She must have missed something. She couldn’t lose a whole shipment. If she couldn’t find it soon, it clearly was missing. And if that was the case she’d be having a talk with the Ministry on accounts that somehow she had a very large shipment disappear with no record of any income coming in for it. She didn’t have any employees to steal it. Either she made a mistake in her revisions or someone sold the shipment. PERCY IGNATIUS WEASLEY

It was incredibly early in the morning, but Percy didn't care. He had just been on a four day trip to Italy for business and had just arrived home a little while ago. He apparated straight home but when he found that his lovely wife wasn't there, he immediately apparated just outside her ice cream shop. He felt silly, standing outside the shop and straightening his suit. He used the window to make sure his hair looked all right as well. He took a moment to take a deep breath before pulling out his key and opening the shop door. He made a point not to enter her shop during closed hours without her permission, but he wanted to surprise her. Even though he wasn't entirely thrilled when she wanted to buy the shop, he made a point of making sure his family members could fulfill their dreams. Even if he didn't agree with them, he tried not to be such an iron fist has he was when his daughters were younger. It was hard, but he was learning. Percy snuck to the back and crept up the stairs, assuming she was in the apartment above. He was glad she had it, somewhere to work and stay busy while he was gone. He knew she had no trouble staying entertained without him, but he liked to think she missed him at least. He gently knocked on the door once he reached it and pushed it open slightly. "Love, are you busy?" he asked as he opened the door the rest of the way and saw her sitting at the desk. She looked frustrated, tried and confused. He didn't want to ask what was wrong right away though. Women had a way of taking offense to little things like that. AUDREY MARGARET WEASLEY

Audrey heard the stairs creaking and drew her wand under the table. Ever since she had that vision she had been anxious. She kept expecting someone to try to come after her. She was kept expecting Andrew to show up to meddle in her life. He had been in the country for months now without getting hold of her. She wasn’t sure if she was should be happy he was staying away or not. She did however worry for her youngest nephew. She had sent a few letters to him and worried about the boy. He hadn’t heard from his father either. She was worried that Andrew would abandon Jake. She kept that all inside, trying to bury it away. “Percy,” smiled Audrey. She forgot about the bookwork for a moment. She put her wand back on the table. She was glad he was home. If she didn’t have the shop she would have been at home worrying “I wouldn’t really call it busy, just occupied,” sighed Audrey. She didn’t consider bookwork being busy. She could spend another day trying to figure this out and she still wouldn’t find that shipment. She was sure it had been stolen. She had been through this book over thirty times. It wasn’t there after it arrived. But who would steal a shipment of ice-cream? People have stolen stranger things from Diagon Alley. Like the time someone stole empty carton. “I can take a break, I don’t really think I’m going to figure this out anyway,” sighed Audrey getting up leaving the book on the table. She got up and hugged Percy. He had been going away on long trips for many years but Audrey misses him as much as she did when they first got married. “How was Italy?” asked Audrey. As much as she missed him when he’s gone she always makes sure she keeps supporting his career choice. She did worry about him when he was away. There was a lot of things that could happen. Percy entered the room the rest of the way when she said his name, smiling. He knew that he wasn't disturbing her when she admitted to being simply occupied, and not busy. He approached her, his smile growing. Sometimes, often times, when he saw his dear wife again after a trip he felt like a younger man trying to get his first date. His beauty still astounded her daily, as did her ability to make his heart beat faster whenever he was reunited with her.
"Things are going well with the shop, I hope?" he asked as he approached the desk further. He was considering taking a peak at her book, but he knew that she wouldn't appreciate that and she wanted to make sure that she trusted him. Though, it was tempting to see what she had been working. She didn't often like him making suggestions though, especially since they came out sounding more like demands.
He accepted her into his arms and held her tightly as she asked how his trip was. He kept his grip on her firm for a few more moments, taking in her scent and her warmth, before loosening, just a little, to look into her eyes. "Florence is lovely this time of year, my dear. I wish you would come with me one of these days." The truth was he would be far too busy to spend anytime with her anyway while on a business trip. "Italy can be very romantic, or so I'm told," he smirked as he bent down to kiss her lightly on the lips. He felt a sweet sensation go through his lips as he did so, and he pulled away smiling.
"The case is going well, if that's what you mean," he sighed, "I just wish my client would be able to come out here every once in a while but alas, he writes the check." Percy smiled an amused smile. He was always working with such pompous rich people, and he did fairly well at fitting it.

Audrey relished the time she had with Percy. Feeling his arms around her, meant the world to her. She loved the way she made her feel. He had always made her feel like she was queen of the world. Even to this day she still felt like that with him. A simple kiss made her feel like she was on cloud nine. “Maybe, one day. I really didn’t like international travel when I went to my br--,” said Audrey stopping herself. She dropped the sentence just like that. She was not going to bring her brother into this. Percy had just gotten home, she didn’t want to argue over her brother again. Despite the awful things Andrew did to her she still loved him. It wasn’t his fault he had a horrible father figure to look up to. “I’m glad it’s going well,” she recovered.Andrew’s wedding had been a nightmare for Audrey. She had ended up over fifty miles away from her landing zone in a giant lake. She was not a very good swimmer. She fought with the hotel clerk over her room until the manager came out. She had never used so many curse words in her life. She had not that anxious to try international travel again though she was quite curious about other cultures. She got letters and gifts from her childhood friend that had married into an highly influential pureblood family in Israel. She has turned down a few invites to travel. Mostly because of the turmoil, at the time, in the area and her horrible experience in France. “It’s going alright. It’s a bit stressful. I still don’t have employees. And may have lost a shipment of ice-cream somewhere. A whole shipment just doesn’t disappear though I’ve looked at that book for hours and can’t find where it was sold. The income numbers aren’t adding up to the shipments or inventory,” sighed Audrey. She really had just wanted to forget about it. But she couldn’t really do that, being a business owner. Percy chose not to press on the matter when she stopped talking mid sentence. He knew well enough that is she didn't want to say it, he shouldn't ask. She usually did things like that for his protection, and pressing her about the issue would just make him look ungrateful, "well, we can worry about that bridge when we come to it. I doubt there will be many opportunities for me to bring you along, love, as sad as that may be." He was grateful to her for asking about his work, it really showed how much she cared about him as an individual. He tried his best to only take clients whose opinions and cases he agreed with, and that he found to be noble causes. He would never disappoint his family by taking on a case for unsavory and unkind individuals.
Percy released her from the hug when she talked about the struggles she was having with the store. "Well, we must find some young men and women who are about to graduate Hogwarts and see if they'd be interested!" he tried to sound upbeat, "have you asked Molly or Lucy about it? I'm sure one of them would know a few students who love ice cream." Truthfully, he should have just asked his daughters himself, but the girls had a way of working around answering his letters and avoided his questions. All those years of being such a firm father didn't pay off in the way Percy had pictured.
He glanced at the book on the table, "would you like me to take a look? No doubt you have done an excellent and efficient job at searching, but sometimes one just needs an extra set of eyes. It's strange that a whole shipment would be missing, though I doubt it is the work of dark wizards," he chuckled and shrugged, "I could be wrong, though. Even dark wizards like ice cream."

“Not saying I’m really that disappointed,” smiled Audrey. Of course, those few years after her parents died she had travelled a lot. She had been to several different countries. Those memories were buried deep inside boxes in the garage attic. She kept so much away. She never spoke of her parents, or how or why they had died. She never spoke of her childhood. If she talked about it, she never had to face her past.
“I want them to focus on their studies. I will find someone eventually,” sighed Audrey. She loved her girls, but she wanted them to stay out of the business. She wanted to keep home and work separate. Or at least she was trying. Once things got going she wasn’t going to bring work home. Her parents had been horrible at that. That is why she didn’t work when they girls were younger. She could see how much she was like her mum, and didn’t want to become her mum. She didn’t want to put her career before her girls. But she was different back then.
“You can look. I doubt its dark wizards. It’s probably desperate people. For Merlin’s sake someone stole empty boxes,” said Audrey. She playfully smacked his arm laughing. Audrey loved her husband’s humour, even when it wasn’t funny she still acted as if it was. She always tried to be there for her husband. She did whatever she could to make sure she didn’t become so detached. She had done her best
“Love, I know you just got home but when do you leave again?” asked Audrey. She had a second vision. It wasn’t like the first one. It was quick flashes of images this time, like a muggle film. She saw Percy in St. Mungo’s, looking completely horrible. She saw confusing fast-based images before the moment she saw him in St. Mungo’s. She had whatever happens, will happen his next trip overseas. She just knew it. She also knew her husband.

Percy understood Audrey wanting to leave the girls to their studies, "yes, I see. Especially with it being so close to finals, it is best that they focus all their energy on completing school successfully."Percy always expected the best from his girls, even if it was just a tad bit unrealistic. He had always had perfect marks, was a prefect for two years and Head Boy in his seventh. He tried to make it very clear to his daughters that he expected them to by the best they could be. Sometimes he and the girls had different ideas as to what the best was, but he still wanted to make sure at least the grades were good.
Percy chuckled as she smacked his arm playfully and laughed. He had successfully made a joke, and he took a moment to mentally congratulate himself on that fact. When she gave him permission to look through her book he bowed low before he crossed over to the desk and slowly opened the book, "empty boxes, you say? That is a bit odd." He wasn't sure why anyone would have a reason to take an empty case, except for the fact that maybe they needed somewhere to sleep at night because they were homeless. If that was the case then by all means, take the empty box. It wasn't serving a purpose. The ice cream, however, that was something Percy knew was important to Audrey considering it was the sole selling point of the business she bought. Ice cream was such a silly thing to get into a business over, but Percy supported her now.
She was quick to ask when he'd leave again. He took a moment to stop from searching the book and looked up at her, both hands placed firmly on the table. "Why, you don't want me here?" he said with a lighthearted smirk, "I think I am supposed to go to... Spain in a few days, but the trip is only a one night stay." He had been to Spain before and he didn't like the place. The people were far to ridiculous and unusual for his liking. He took a few moments to look down and read the page he had stopped on, but soon he found himself feeling a little antsy. Something was off. He looked up at her again.
"Is something wrong?" he asked, standing up straight this time.

“Perc, you know I love having you here,” Audrey chuckled, forcing it a bit. Spain. Hmm, that made sense according to the vision. The landmarks and vegetation she had seen did fit Spain. That only worried her more. A few days wasn’t very long. But she took what she could get.
“I-I had another vision last night. Something is going to happen internationally,” said Audrey. She paused for a moment. The raw emotions of seeing Percy in St. Mungo’s came back. The fear and desperation. She felt chest get tighter. “Something to you. I-I-I saw you in St. Mungo’s,” she added. She could barely say the last bit. It brought hot tears to her eyes. Seeing Percy the way she had. It was different for her when she was the one hurt or sick but when it was Percy or the girls. She got emotionally and anxious, even over something as small as a cold.
Audrey felt a little bit dizzy. She took a drink of water, as naturally as possible. She didn’t want to panic Percy. She knew it was just her emotions getting to her, it hasn’t happen in over seventeen years. She got dizzy all the time when she was pregnant with the twins. Healers told her it was because her hormonal balance would spike up, which was why they had told her after the twins getting pregnant again would be nearly impossible. She pushed it off as just be stressed off. The healers had told her that she could stop taking her birth control potion because there wasn’t any possible way for her to get pregnant, just nature’s course.

Percy chuckled, "I know, I know. I was only teasing." Truthfully, he just loved hearing her say it. Saying that she loved him, loved having him around, loved holding him. Whenever she said those things to him was when he felt the most love. That was his love language, words. You could kiss him a hundred times and he'd love it, but there was nothing like speaking words of affirmation. No, not to Percy. He adored her more every time she said something sweet.
Percy closed the book shut, a little too quickly, and it practically slammed. He hurried from behind the table and crossed to her taken her hands in his. When the tears pricked her eyes he sighed and released on of her hands, reaching to the nearest glass of water and placing it in her hands. "Perhaps, love, darling, if you tell me what you saw then I can avoid the situation while I am abroad." He spoke gently and calmly, not wanting to upset her further or cause her to feel ill. The last time she had a vision it wasn't a good moment for the family, and everyone was worried. Especially Percy.
As she took her drink of water, she looked more calm and collected than a few moments previous to that. This calmed him, for she looked as if she was feeling much better. He was still worried though, but not panicked. The fear of her passing out had gone. Percy gently brushed a lock of hair away from her face after she finished taking a sip, "do you need to sit down, Audrey?" He spoke calmly.

Even having Percy close to her made Audrey feel ten times stronger than what she was alone. The fear of something happening to him was much more than just of him in pain. It was because without him she didn’t know what she’d do. He was her rock even if he didn’t know it. She didn’t often speak of the deep emotions. It made her feel exposed in ways she was comfortable with. It brought back not to pleasant memories of growing up, in what she refers to in her mind as the house of hell. Fear was her worst enemy. But with Percy she wasn’t so afraid. Love is a funny thing.
“I really wished I knew more. It wasn’t like the last one. It was quick flashes of images. I think it was like that because I was half-way asleep. I don’t know, I don’t think anyone does,” sighed Audrey. She wished she knew more. She stopped in tracks not thinking of anything. Then a name came to her head. “La Concha, I think that’s the city in happens in. I think La Concha is a very large city in Spain, but I don’t remember,” she continued.
“I’m fine,” said Audrey sharply. She was less worried about herself than she was about Percy. She was stressed out. That’s all. Something horrible she couldn’t even think of could happen to Percy. Though that’s part of life. She would do anything and everything to stop it if she could.
“Perc, I don’t know if I can do this all. I’m trying to stay on top of things here and I can’t do everything. I can’t be making ice-creaming, doing inventory, and do bookwork. I’m trying to keep up at home and that is even a bigger mess. I’m not sure the last time I actually wasn’t behind. For Merlin’s sake I almost forgot to pay the electricity bill. I’m trying the strange diet thing that the healers thought would help my visions That’s only making me have dreams of things I don’t want to remember. My stupid brother is being a idiot again and I know I’m playing into whatever his plan is. I-I’ve done so much not to become it and I’m becoming it and I don’t know what to do. I just feel like everything is cascading into the next thing. I’m failing at all of this,” sobbed Audrey. She couldn’t hold it back anymore. The months of pressure building up. Maybe it was more than months’ worth, maybe more like years. She had bottled things up ever since she was little, that was the only thing she could do to keep her sanity back then. What in Merlin’s creation was up with her? She never got like this. It was like when she thirteen again. Up and down, up and down, then upside down, upside right. It was like she was on a muggle roller-coaster. She felt so pathetic breaking down like this.

Percy listened intently as she explained that the vision was different than the last one. When she said those words, La Concha, Percys heart stopped beating. That was where he was supposed to go for his assignment in Spain. Seers creeped him out, especially when the seer was spouting visions about him being in danger. He would never saw nor think Audrey was creepy though, just the fact that the visions were so dead on. He took a deep breath in, trying not to reveal his panic. "Well, perhaps I could as my client to meet me in a different city. There are others fairly close by that I'm sure he could reach me at." That was the thing about Percy. His life was in danger, and yet he always put his client first. Especially the ones in dire need.
Audreys tone when she announced she was 'fine' startled Percy. Where did that snappiness come from? The last time she was that short with him was while she was pregnant with the twins, and that was a really rough time for Percy. He tried his best to watch everything he did and said extra closely, but he usually ended up saying or doing the wrong thing. That's how it often was with pregnant women, you couldn't do anything right one minute but then the next you were 'the best husband in the universe'. He decided not to press the issue further.
Percy placed a hand over his mouth as he listened to his wife...vent, so to speak, about the shop. He could feel a childish I told you so starting bubbling from his mind and almost came out his lips, but he clamped his lips tight. He needed to be a good man. As her vent went on though, he realized the ice cream shoppe wasn't the real problem. He lowered his hands and walked towards her, taking her left hand in his right, and draping her left arm over her shoulder. He slowly walked her to a couch in the corner of the office as he spoke. "You are nothing like your brother, Aud. Everything is wonderful at home, and if it wasn't nobody would even be there that often to see it. And no one who lives there cares," it was mostly true. Yes, Percy liked things orderly, but not at the expense of Audreys happiness. "You aren't failing at anything," they sat on the couch and he held her closely. He couldn't help but think some of this was his fault.

Audrey didn’t fight back when Percy led her to the couch. She fought back the urge to pull away. Even after all these years old habits came back. She had to slow down her breathing before she could speak. She hadn’t felt so overwhelmed in years. She did so well with keeping this in. Most of the times when she lost it, she was alone. She could go off and paint then be fine. But things weren’t as easy these days. She couldn’t go a paint and have all her worries disappear. That worked before her visions were contained, no she didn’t have any control over it.
“I wasn’t talking about my brother, Perc, at least not completely. I should have listened to you,” admitted Audrey. She knew when she was wrong, she was wrong. She had more trouble sticking to her guns then compromising or admitting when she was wrong. If you are told that you will never be nothing enough times, you start to believe it. Percy had helped her but there was only so much he could do. She could get past it but it wasn’t as easy as facing it. She knew muggles have ways of handling such things but that would require stepping out of her comfort zone and coming up with money that had gone into the store. One step at a time, she told herself. She knew Percy was here and he cared. There was no way she could talk to anyone else if she couldn’t with Percy. “I just love you so much. I can’t stand the idea of something happening to you. Just be careful. Do whatever you have to be safe. I can’t stop you but I don’t want you to go,” Audrey said. She let her head fall against Percy. She had no clue what just happened. She decided she must be ill and decided to make an appointment at St. Mungo’s.

"You should have listened to me? About what?" now he was starting to get confused, as he often did in the presence of women, especially his girls. Growing up in a home with much more girls than boys was easy, but trying to live in a home where he was the only male with three strong females? That was hard work. Especially since the girls had taken after his stubbornness, that didn't help much of anything. He often found himself wishing he had at least one son, just one so that he wouldn't be all alone with all of those female hormones. He even tried getting Lucy into more exciting things like good grades, law and traditional proper etiquette. That just turned into a big slap in the face really quickly.
Percy kept his arm tightly wrapped around her as she talked about her feelings. He rested his head on top of hers, "I love you, Audrey. I would never want to worry you..." she didn't want him to go, but there was no way he couldn't. This client clearly needed his help and was struggling for a lawyer that would take his side on a case that was clearly victimizing this man. Percy couldn't ignore the fact that he was supposed to help him. But to be hurt, injured and attacked to the extent of being placed in Saint Mungos? Was it really worth it?
He sighed, "I'll think about it and discuss a different meeting location with my client. I only hope that you are well, my dear, that is most important to me." It was true, but his work in helping others came at a very close second.

“Just forget it. It’s not important,” sighed Audrey. She didn’t want to stir this up all that happened ages ago. There was nothing anyone could have done. All she can do is move forward. She kept trying to hang onto memories of things it would do her good to let go of. Maybe her memories weren’t the most positive growing up but if she let go she’d loose them. She was glad that her girls had each other, she had dealt with all the girl stuff pretty much alone since her mum didn’t really care. Audrey didn’t say much of anything else. She didn’t really have anything to say. She had never quite understood Percy’s work. She respected it. That didn’t mean she liked it. Most days it didn’t bother her. Some days it did. She’d just go explode something and be fine. Her mind was drifting away from Percy towards Andrew. Part of her wanted to go look for her brother, the other side told her that was a very bad idea. She just wanted to see her brother and pretend he wasn’t what he was, just for a moment. She cursed their father in her head. All of this was his fault. If he wasn’t already died, she would have killed him for all this grief. She kept this inside because she knew Percy wouldn’t understand. He grew up in a family that loved him and wanted him. She wondered what her girl’s thought of her. She really didn’t know. She wondered if they still loved their parents. If they could see that they had tried their best, maybe pushed a little too hard. She really hadn’t had a clue on how to a proper mother. Maybe if she had been more strong-willed and forced Percy to give it a rest the girls might still be close to their father. She wanted to bring her family together, but it was like gluing a broken vase back together the muggle way. Relationships weren’t as easy to fix as a broken object. A flick of the wand the object was fixed. PERCY IGNATIUS WEASLEY
