Brian found his life busier and busier with each day. Working two jobs was not an easy thing, it made you worn out often. Sometime Brian would have been okay disappointing his father but at the same time he was happy to be a busy person. He was a happy person with how his life had been as of late. He was definitely his father's son. He worked hard and worked for everything he wanted, well somewhat. A lot of his stuff was given to him for just stepping into his father's shoes.
Brian was a happy young man though. He was married not that long ago and from what he could tell he was doing pretty well off at the moment. He tried but honestly he wasn't home enough due to work. There was all the ministry stuff that made it extremely difficult to get any extra time off and then there had been everything to do with the Flint family business. Everything kept him quite busy. Spending time with anyone wasn't an easy task. Maybe he'd be smart to quit the Ministry and jump all in into his father's business. That could be smart. Then he could actually enjoy his time with people around him.
Today though the oldest Flint child was just working at the ministry. Today he was going to focus on getting the paperwork done and work on any accidents that happened throughout the day. Now though the young man was celebrating his twenty-fifth birthday at work in the quiet only three days before Christmas. Some people had left for holiday while others focused on what was going on before the very important holiday. His blue eyes scanned his paperwork and his quill went to the paper to sign some things off. Things that needed completing after quite a bit of time. Well today was a good day to do it.

Percy wasn't having an off day, nor was he having an on day. It was just a normal day, which happened to him often. Being a lawyer, he often worked with the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad, in case anyone on either side of the accident pressed charges. Once he was even faced with a case where someone had accidentally apparated into a womans bedroom in Ireland. Thankfully, Percy was an international lawyer and was able to be assigned to the case. The woman was... furious to say the least, and Percy had to remind her that accidents do happen. Though he never looked at that wizard the same after that. Today he was told that his client was being handled by Brian Flint, the son of Marcus whom Percy had gone to school with. He tried not to think about the fact that he had to do business with his schoolmates son. He only wanted to treat Officer Flint as a professional who was able to help him with his work. As Percy approached the door, he straightened his jacket. He wanted to make sure he looked entirely professional when he knocked on the boy- the mans door. He knocked, but as he did so he noticed the door was slightly open and it moved to his touch. Percy took the opportunity to flatten his hand on the door and push it open. "Awe, Mr. Flint. I think we have some business to discuss?" Percy said smoothly as he stood outside the door. He would never enter a room without being asked first. BRIAN MARCUS FLINTnotes: I know this is an old post but we can change the timing, right?

Brian had handled a few of the accidents going through the magic reversal squad the last few days. With the attacks from the Dark Lady each accident was reviewed a little bit more than normal to make sure everything wasn't awry, it was important to make sure that no information was left behind. Brian knew how to do his job well but to say that he was oft distracted would be an understatement. He worked two jobs was often up until the wee hours of the morning when no one should be awake. But he did his job when he got here to the ministry. He made sure his work got on.
His blue eyes scanned the paperwork of a case that had come in that was going to be worked with, with one Percy Weasley. And speaking of the devil there was a knock on his door when he'd flipped open the paperwork. ”Awe, Mr. Flint. I think we have some business to discuss?” Brian looked up. ”Mr. Flint is my father, just call me Brian, come one in, take a seat,” he said waving Percy into the office, ”I actually just opened the file up, I'm assuming you've already met with the client, if so give me a quick rundown so I don't have to read this entire thing,” he chuckled. He'd been reading too much the last few days.

Percy smiled as Brian corrected his preferred title. "I have no doubt your father is indeed the true Mr. Flint. When I attended school with him we simply referred to him as Flint." Percy often called people by their surname only, it had made Percy feel superior in his school years. But alas, that was a very distance time ago. Percy gave a short bow as he accepted the offer to come in and take a seat across from the young man. Percy made sure to keep his posture straight, as he always did when sitting, before he spoke on the case. "Yes, indeed. I met with him last night," Percy reported, then he also chuckled at the thought of reading the entire file, "I can understand your not wanting to read it all right now, Brian, especially since you can use my summary as a decent resource to acquire the information needed." Percy was enjoying the young mans company so far, though he often didn't associate with people so young if he could help it. But considering this mans station, he must have done something right in order to be there. "The situation could be much worse, mind you, but it is still something that needs to be assessed properly. It looks like Mr. Green was taking a casual stroll when Mrs. Peacock was outside her house trying to use a muggle hose to water her lawn. Sadly, the water coming out of the hose somehow became a toxic venom which then sprayed onto Green. He is in the poison control ward at Saint Mungos now and is trying to press charges against her. He hired me to asses the situation before he does anything drastic." He sighed, "I, however, am under the impression that it was not Mrs. Peacocks fault. It seems the hose may have been tampered with by someone nearby. What with all these so called accidents happening lately, it is hard to tell what is true and what is false."BRIAN MARCUS FLINTnotes: It es not to short for me, love. I am not picky. and i just watched clue today, if you couldn't tell
