Waking up, Cameron was instantly aware of the fact he was not somewhere familiar.

From the smell of the sheets to the fact they were silken to the touch, to the fact the little daylight seeping in from the morning sun was colored lightly purple from the curtains. He stretched, feeling a female form beside him and turned as he stretched, sliding his hand up her side. That was enough to remind him where he was and what had happened last night. Leyshell, her promise, and at least three repetitions of his skill to prove to her he was more then just a pretty awesome looking guy. The response had been like many of his female encounters, extremely positive.

Sliding his hand around her middle he snuggled up behind her, full skin contact as he slid one hand under his head to prop himself up over her slightly. A blurry look around the room as the light grew slightly brighter and he shook his head slightly. She was really into Gothic styles, so very very different from the wide open white home he had grown up in. "Man, I need something more exposed then this somewhere." It was an interesting house none the less.

He did like the interior space downstairs.

As she stirred he leaned over her, kissing her shoulder and then her neck. "Leyshell, if you want me to be happy here, I'm going to need some space of my own. Something with a skylight I think..." Not to mention kids rooms. Lots of kids rooms if he could manage what he had in mind. His hand caressed her belly as he thought about it with a smile, liking the fact that his impression on her last night had come across so well...

Leyshell was woken up by movements and reluctantly opened her eyes, she was glad for the thick curtains that blocked the light from coming in. She was well aware of why there was movement in her bed but that didn't mean she had to like it...the movement. If this was going to be a reoccurring thing, they had to set some type of sleep ground rule. She was so not morning person, she looked at the stupid clock on her night stand a sighed.

"Im so not a morning person, I need to replenish my bloods supply of coffee"

She mumbled sleeply as he kissed her shoulder and neck. She really wanted to go back to sleep but she knew it would he difficult with someone in her bed. Snorting softly she rolled her eyes. "Well the fourth floor is basically one big attic room, you can have that although its all big Windows...no skylight" she said between a yawn fully ready to hit him with a pillow if that was the reason she woke him up.

"I did mention im not morning person right...is there something on your mind?"

He rolled his eyes, thinking about it. "Ah, you are one of those vampire like types, up all night." He tilted his head with a grin to himself. "I was pretty sure you fell asleep not long after midnight after I wore you out, darling one..." Not that he had been quick after her; he had had to enjoy surveying his won-over territory for a bit, do his gloating while she had been asleep. She would hardly have let him explore while she was awake, after all; she was far too strong a personality for that!

"I'll remember next time to make sure coffee is around first. However." Slipping away from her regretfully, he remembered where the coffee machine had been and made her a cup of strong brew and then returned to the bed still naked, sliding right back in behind her and enjoying the feel of her skin under his fingertips. "It's brewing. Take a few." Hearing about the upstairs he thought about it. "Hmm...mind if I think about adding one facing away from the front of the house?"

Kid's rooms. Cameron doubted there would be any argument if he put the kids upstairs near him. He wanted influence as well and suspected there would be more times in the first few years he would be at home with them when she went out to do her career. "Just you at the moment and the fact your parents aren't here to find out about what's happening. They don't ever come over here, right? Do you have, in fact, any pool here? Or a spot one can be added?" He breathed in her scent, wondering how late she normally slept and what advantage he could get at doing stuff in the early mornings...

Leyshell rolled her eyes, of course he would gloat, she was foolish to think he would drop the arrogance for the time being but she has no such luck. "Yeah, cant you tell by my pale skin and evil lair type manor." sighing and turning to look at him she threw one of the small pillows at him. "I find arrogance to be a turn-off" she said as she got up to put her bra and underwear.

Cameron might have liked nudity but she did not, though she did prefer little amounts of clothing. When he came back she muttered a quick thank you and smirked at him "When we have kids you'll have to be dressed in some type or clothing at all times" she said, her smirk turning into full blown laughter.

"No the deed is in my name and wards are keyed my magical signature, they have to floo call to be allowed access but I have to let them over if they ask...rules and such" she said once again looking at the clock....she could be sleeping right now....if this was what it was like to be married she was going to have to become a deep sleeper.

He shook his head with a tongue out at her. "It's not arrogance when it's called experience, dearheart, and while you may think I am bragging, I'm just asking. I thought you were happy enough with me that that was why you slept so easily..." Yeah okay if she was that turned off by confidence she needed more time to get used to him. He didn't bother to duck the pillow, rolling his eyes at her. "Throwing things already? My my..." Her poking fun at his skin he sighed at her.

"I'm used to wearing shorts around the house, but kids who don't learn how to be themselves without clothing are paralyzed by social morals all the time too. I would prefer ours to know that who they are inside is far more important then how they look and that being afraid to show their bodies is a weakness." He shrugged and then smiled. "Besides, I thought you wanted to get used to me? Or is that not part of the deal of trust?"

She spoke about the access and he grinned. "Excellent! Wish I had half that much control over my parents." He looked at the wall before reaching over the side of the bed and grabbing his shorts, pulling them on so she would shut up about it. "Two? Nice. So in whatever this career is you have planned, how often will you be home? Or is it one of those here for a week, gone for a week sort of deals? How often are you going to be here with me?"

Leyshell rolled her eyes "Well, if you're asking for a performance rating ill give you a seven, I have nothing to compare it to so you won by defualt." she was not awake enough to deal with his "confidence" or whatever he wanted to call it, she didn't want to talk about it. Mostly because she was trying to keep things between them professional. "Pfft, just be glad its a pillow, for all you know this room could be rigged with weapons" she said through her snickers.

Leyshell went into hysterics at his words "Okay, ill agree to that as long as there's no double standard when it comes to our daughter" barely able to get her words out she manged to pull the covers off the top half of her body. He was hilarious sometimes and she thought about keeping him around, which scared her...it was one thing for it to be unavoidable and another for her to want it...him...them...it to be real.

"Hmm, it depends am I getting used to the side of you that everyone sees or am o getting used to the you beneath the surface? Besides, I think its other way around....you have to get used to me...or rather accept me...my decisions and the like"

"Its not so much as control as guilt, they think giving me things and showing that they trust me is the way to mend bridges." she watched him put on shorts and pursed her lips....she had to tell him eventually...she had to be careful though. "Well, depends on if you manage to sway me out of my three year plan...I never said you couldn't come along...its just the question that might be a problem. Being perfectly honest, I want a real family...not a parent thats gone all the time while the other stays home. So most of the time ill be home...even before the kids"

She looked at the door and back at Cameron and sighed "come on doofus ill make you breakfast" she said putting on her slik robe and walking towards the door.

A seven, eh? Cameron thought he clearly rated a nine or a ten, but she was being difficult and trying not to inflate his ego apparently. A shame she was not one of those who was into sex since her reactions were sedate comparatively. That would have made things oh so much easier between them. He did give her a startled look at her omission. "I assumed it did, actually, but with a no murder clause I felt it was worth the risk. I already told you I'm not a fighter physically. Wand work and curses however, that's another matter."

He shook his head. "I won't be setting a double standard on her, other people will try though. When she starts to mature we'd have to talk to her about what are good ways to use it and when not to though." He grinned; if he had ever been a girl his mother would have kept him wrapped away from sight till marriage! A roll of his eyes as they returned to a subject he thought they had already agreed to. "I thought we had already discussed that part actually..."

A frown at her as he repeated their discussion of a few months back. "We talked about and agreed it made little sense to keep things from each other if this was going to be a partnership. What hurts one of us hurts the other so keeping up a front with you instead of letting you see what I am like behind that would be counter-productive for both of us. So of course you are seeing me without the masks, duh." He shrugged at her other words, slipping next to her to run his hand around her waist, feeling her size again. Clearly a favorite move of his, his fingers spread as he did so.

"Our parents already made that a necessity, Leyshell, as to accepting your decisions, I will work with you so we both get what we want and need, but I'm not in an army. I accept what works and makes sense, not orders." An eyebrow at her, liking that she watched his body, but not quite sure about her statement. She seemed to have a far more antagonistic view of her parents then he had of his. "What bridges needed mending? I should probably know about that for when they start trying to get answers out of me."

Ah yes this mysterious three year plan she didn't speak of. "Well so far all I know is it's title so I don't see how I could even have a chance of following. My plans are pretty flexible on purpose." Seeing her put on a robe he shook his head and followed her out the door wondering what horrors the kitchen would look like. Bad enough she had to cover up her nice features which made it the easiest for any girl to influence a guy.

Leyshell rolled her eyes "I have a dagger hidden between the mattress but nothing else, I have a room for that, fair warning that none of the rooms in my house particular match a set theme beside Victorian and Gothic...you might find a couple of crosses...im catholic I have a couple of religious portriats" She said trying to think of anything else he should be aware of.

When he spoke, she rolled her eyes but smiled " I like the we part, besides I figure they'd get and even balance of our traits, I just hope my temper isn't one of them, yeah still, im a bit iffy on whether this is you or not...its so not different from you normally." Or maybe it was and she didn't see it, or rather ignored it.

"Yeah...and I've always wanted real parents not ones that just tried to buy me, they had really high expectations, stuck me with nannys and left me in a forgien country on accident. I met the expectations but I cant forgive them for not being there when I needed them, now they want to be there and I don't need or want them...yes I hold grudges.

"Well, it involves traveling, site seeing and bunch of other stuffs...besides I think we need to talk about a "part" of my life...the hit witch part." she said as they walked to the kitchen, she loved her kitchen, making herself a cup coffee remembering Cameron had brewed some she gesutred to the seat as she stood against the counter...."Try to keep and open mind"

Cameron glanced around with a doubtful eye. "Only that? I would have assumed the curtain rods doubled as something and that there were things stashed for defense throughout the house." He shrugged; how was he to know how a hit witch was trained in habits? "Then I apologize for jumping to a conclusion, but when you spoke about all the training you did I figured the inside would reflect that. My mistake." His wand was always near at hand, but that was for his own version of looking for advantages, not self defense so much.

Was she saying the crosses were weapons? Interesting, but very clever actually. "I am not religious, but I do have some crosses and those long necklaces. The meeting spot, the connection to all things is something I think worth always being aware of and those fit that idea in my mind very well." Good thing she liked the 'we' part as they had no real choice in that; then again Cameron had always considered himself very practical. He snorted softly. "As long as those traits include good health and a clever mind I'm not too worried about the rest."

Grinning he added to the end of her statement "Or maybe it's just the way I am after I get gratification. Most guys get much easier to deal with after you give them what they can't stop dreaming about." Having his arm around her, his hands accepted on her skin was something he also liked and she didn't even seem aware of how much she let him have that. As she spoke about having been left places with a nanny, he did make a face. "Well those who use people to supplement their parental rights can't expect anything else. I don't use nannies like that or don't plan to. There are better ways to use them that are far more intelligent."

Hmm, didn't sound like a hit witch so much in his mind actually. "Go ahead, though I must say the travel part sounds good to me." He didn't ask for coffee; anything which affected the way the mind worked seemed highly questionable to him so he avoided being under it's influence. "My mind is always open," he said as he took the chair and turned it around, sitting down so as to put his arms on the back of it looking at her, "but some people don't think things through well enough before they make decisions. That is usually the real issue..."

Leyshell snorted "Im talking about the room, silly and I do have a training room of sorts, but its in the dungeons, figured I'd make use of the way the house was built. You should've seen the look on my mom's face when I told her this was the house I wanted, she nearly fainted" Of course at fourteen she was obessed with the Victorian ages and loved the authic look, but she had made it seems much worse.

"Pfft, hardly I just know if I have a kid who acts like me when I was kid, with my attitude...we're in for alot of trouble, anyways still we might need work out certain religious practices....because yeah eventually we'll need to work on that" she sighed, all this talk of children was starting to... she didn't even know. It was so easy to tall about stuff like this with him, it scared her...he scared her not the future or the wedding or the inevitable children. Her biggest fear was right in her bed, talk about dancing with the devil.

"Right, your much more....standable after sex got it, ill have to remember that" Of course, she'd had to admit she didn't completely want to throw something at him at the moment. Although, they went from confusing to engaged to involved...it was all very complicated, she needed a breather before it overwhelmed her. "I agree, though im not sure I want to know what you mean by that last part, but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it"

Playing with edge of her coffee mug she sighed "Just listen and dont jump in or anything until you hear everything. My dad has this associate because has a side job...or rather some interesting business deals, anyways...I started this type of rival business using my dads connection and I ended up, becoming close friends with a shop owner in knocktern ally. Eventually one thing lead to another and he became my mentor...then convinced me to join the BA. Its complicated but it was a way to into sure my dads safety and make sure his business partners didn't betray him. Eventually he was under investigation and I had to clean up his mess.

She took a deep breath and waited for the reaction she knew she'd get. Why did she even tell him...oh yeah because she needed to know.

"Anyways, I figured you'd need to know"

She didn't mention the business was smuggling, her dad had unknowingly shown her the ropes and helped her make contacts.

"In relief or horror at the price?" he asked smirking, but at the same time his mind was thinking. Here she was, her parents trying to bribe her with a house and the money to fill it and fix things up; she was clearly loaded and that meant he was in the home stretch as far as the future went. With his accounts (once there was a kid around) and her funds, he'd never have to work for sure and she would be out doing whatever the job was often. This was getting better and better! As she spoke about her attitude as a child he could imagine what that must have been like for her parents.

"Maybe we'll get lucky and the same kid will be a huge fan of their daddy, I can put on the charm pretty effectively." He smiled at the idea, remembering how she said she wanted to be a very active mother, but felt he had to make sure she understood he wasn't going to be uninvolved either. The next generation was intensely important to him that they understand early on about how to do things properly, not so obviously as so many students back in the dorm did. Amateurs. Not caring so much for religion (he though of it more like a crutch) he nodded generally without a comment.

Besides, his kids could see what the world had to offer and choose for themselves what they wanted to believe. He wasn't shoving anything down their throats.

"Thanks! Guys are very much sex focused usually, though I have more control then most..." And had had more then the average number of girls already, some for weeks at a time. There was a reason he felt super confident about his talents in bed. "I've heard of girls using it to get gifts before, but I'd like to think that's not something you would take advantage of me for." He tried not to smirk as he said it and did a decent job, but the idea of her using sex on him for anything sounded delightful actually. He did however laugh at the nanny comment.

"Nothing to it. Perfect tool when raising kids. They are trained in teaching and education and they are paid by you. Perfect resource in child care who is entirely loyal to what you want the kids to learn. Great to have the extra hands around and when you have a house to run or a business, they help fill in when you need someone to keep an eye open while you handle emergencies. I always thought a nanny, maid, and a landscaper were damn handy people to have around."

He listened to the job mess and raised an eyebrow high. What the heck was she talking about? "Okay several questions. First off, what kind of business and is it illegal? Second, by BA do you mean Business Association or something?" He'd never heard of the Black Army referred to by initials and assumed it had little to do in Hogwarts to begin with. "And Third, I thought you wanted to be a hit witch, but it sounds like you got into business instead. So which is the career?"

Leyshell snorted "Actually neither, this place was alot creepier when I first got it, as hard as that is believe my mom almost didn't come on the tour of the house. My dad was off doing whatever he just footed the cash once I found what I wanted."

She looked around at him blankly before bursting into laughter, and shaking her head sympathetically. He was hilarious "Or, they'll be able to see through the charm like evil little demons" she said once she finished laughing streching once again.

"Eh, not really my style, I can get what I want without using sex but thanks for the idea." she would just but whatever it was that she wanted, she didn't need someone to but it for her."Eh" she said shrugging off the nanny idea, she didn't want to talk about that at the moment.

She winced at his questions and sighed "BA stands for Black Army, eh, hit witch is more of a cover and technically since im not licensed my career is illegal no matter what, I pay the goblins for their loyalty they make it all look good. The business has to do with knocktern alley...how legal is that place? Technically im "rare artifact finder"" she said using quotation marks, technically she just meet with sellers, bought it from them, smuggled them here and sold them again...simple but illegal.

Creepier? Not really very hard to do he thought with a glance around, but if it had been worse and she turned it to a specific style that was a plus. "Hmm..." And then she laughed at him and he kept his mouth shut as well, merely smiling back at her. He was pretty sure he stood good odds with kids who were often far more perceptive then adults when young. Long as he hooked their loyalty from the beginning he'd be good. She spoke about getting along without sex and he just gave her a look. She had just said how much easier he was to deal with after sex, if she couldn't add up one and one and get two he couldn't be faulted for not having tried.

"Maybe you can, but that's not the issue is it? Keeping the husband happy and easy to work with is and that method is certainly more pleasant for both of us." He smiled a craft smile this time and winked at her look. Fro there they went on with nanny stuff which she seemed supremely iffy about. He'd have to come up with a write up for her then later on. He wouldn't bother with it now; the idea had been planted. But then she explained something which sounded bad, then compounded it with something which made it much worse when she explained.

"The H3ll? The Black Army?!" His voice sounded equal parts astonished and disbelieving. "Are you insane? Have you learned nothing from the History of Magic class? Did you even think about it, Leyshell??" He wasn't sitting any more, he had gotten up as he spoke fast and then walked to her side as his voice got slightly louder. He wasn't yelling yet, but his face said he thought she was a fool.

Smuggling didn't bother him, nor did illegal if it was done right, but joining up and following someone else's goals? Lunacy. "Every single time that Dark wizards band together for larger influence they get busted, hard. Every. Single. Time. The only successful ones in recorded history had small scopes and didn't get greedy and stayed individual. By joining a group like that you essentially put a target on your back and aim yourself for loss! Didn't you think about that at the time?!"

Leyshell shrugged, maybe but she didn't think sex was key to making things work. Still she took all his thoughts and opinion consideration even if she didn't think they were relevant or correct to whatever situation they were in.

She sighed and nodded, he was completely right even if she didn't want to admit it. "Yes, I pay attention Cameron. Im not stupid, even if my choices reflect that I am. I told you its complicated" Of course he wouldn't understand...maybe he would but she didn't want to talk over him, best to let him get his words and frustration out.

"It's not that simple, I told you my dad had an associate...well he was doing deals with an important member and once you know stuff it's hard to be a liability. Believe it or not I thought it through. After everything I found out I had to tie up loose ends, its not like I could go off a bunch of skilled dark wizards. Anways im not asking you to join as a matter of fact im asking you to stay away, play dumb and such. My mistakes and reason shouldn't effect you."

They would though, if things hit the fan probably in the next three years she'd be dead, in Azkaban or alive. "My tracks are covered, besides im morr a mercenary than anything. I don't have a anti-muggleborn agenda and im only involved when called, nothing more nothing less."

She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose as she got things out for breakfast. She didn't want him to be okay with her choice, but she knew her choices affected him someway. She didn't want him dead because of her and he cared because he was affected. She was just giving him means to ready himself, though she felt like she should apologize.

While he was glad she paid attention and thought about it, it didn't make him feel much better! Putting yourself in with any group was to him a lunatic's move as you then took the blame for that connection and that meant what other people did you could get stuck with over your head! And Cameron was one who already knew there were dumb people out there so he didn't want that sticking to him, no way no how. Whether he thought the Dark Lady would be good for him or not was hardly the issue and never would be. The records showed that groups like hers always ended in disaster.

Heck, just by becoming known he thought the Dark Lady was already a fool.

"Complicated? So you sought out other avenues to get to the same result before you did it, huh?" His voice had come down some, but he was clearly still thinking this was a big mess. "That's good cause I would not, but because you are in I am already assumed to know about it. This kind of stuff sticks to everyone around you, Leyshell. And if the Dark Lady screws up as history tells us we should expect, then depending on how things go down we could both get stuck with the rep on our heads." He now looked more irritated then angry, but he was just pushing it down out of the way for the moment.

Still, his hard work had managed to get him a reputation that was clean; being married to her he had plenty who would say his name was good and maybe that would offset the other. "Hmm, it's possible that if things do go down the drains, I might be able to save us if my contacts stay good..." He gave her an interested look at the confession she was a call in. "So what, they are using you like an assassin? Hmph, experience I guess. I hope you are keeping records somewhere hidden as a backup." Then his eyes crossed for a moment and he stepped up very close to her side, though not in the way of her getting things out for cooking.

"Leyshell. How did you go from doing illegal selling and purchasing into doing hit witch work for them? How did they get you from one to the other? Compensation?" There was no way in Merlin's Name that they would have made that transition without something sneaky happening...
